Excellent hotel! Beautiful big rooms. Very friendly staff. Breakfast is great, with a lot of different good (local) food. Restaurant had a very good menu, different styles cuisine. Perfect location in Altstad.

The hotel is located in the center of the old town, very close to all recommended places to visit Dresden, professional and friendly staff, comfortable room. The room we received looked out into an inner courtyard and was very quiet. Modern and comfortable decorated room. Very recommended.

A fantastic getaway. Located in the heart of the Old Town, this hotel is the ideal base for a city break. Immediately after the arrival, we were met by the very friendly staff. The special friendliness of the team, which went through the entire stay, simply has to be mentioned here — great! The rooms are super beautiful, modern and elegantly furnished we lacked nothing. We will certainly be a guest again on our next visit to this great hostel.

We were super satisfied. Staff is mega. Breakfast too. We had a large quiet room on the castle side. Location is perfect. We're happy to come back! By the way, the construction site opposite has been dormant for a very long time…

We did not like or enjoy room 428. The price value relationship is out of balance, cost too much for the value. I speak of the room only. Excellent location and staff.

Decent hotel, good location, but I had many small issues with my stay. Dirty room, broken hairdryer, burnt out light bulb, incorrect bill (twice). The facilities are nice and the breakfast is solid however.

An excellent hotel in the best location in Dresden, the Hyperion is a welcoming, comfortable hotel with a staff that goes the extra kilometer and is responsive and prompt. Our room was large with fine bathroom facilities, a comfortable king-sized bed, and superior windows that kept the room quiet. The breakfast buffet in the morning is huge with a wonderful array of breads, hot entrees, teas, coffees, fruits, cheeses, meats, along with yogurts, juices, hot and cold cereals, and other delectables. The concierge service was informative and very helpful, and two staff in particular — Dennis and Martin — were outstanding — Am Besten! Finally, the lower level of the hotel has a fine fitness center, with superb facilities for sauna, a quiet room, and iced drinking water with essence of fresh fruit. None better.

Location couldn't be better. Hotel is modern and clean. Room has many amenities including two complimentary water bottles (still and sparkling) comfortable bedding, and elegant appointments.

The hotel is beautiful, the rooms very spacious and always very clean — it is even cleaned if you are only 2 days on site! The service and the staff leave no questions & wishes open. You get great recommendations and even the reservations are taken if you wish.
I do not want to book another hotel anymore and look forward to the next visit!

Quality services. Great location to visit the main points of interest. Staff rather friendly especially at breakfast and Excutive Lounge. Only point to review the buffet offered in the evening: not qualitative and no formula for children who pay as adults or €25.

The hotel was very centrally located, just opposite the residence Palace and thus in the middle of the old town.

At breakfast it was a bit unpleasant that you might have to wait 5 minutes for a table to be free, but over the Easter holidays the hotel was just quite crowded. Besides, that was only in the peak hours and the full hour. Just a quarter of an hour earlier or later and the traffic jam was no longer given.
The breakfast was also good.
Should we go back to Dresden we will probably stay in the same hotel again.

The location is just great. The rooms are large and very nicely decorated. We had three very quiet and relaxing nights with a delicious breakfast. The staff is also very friendly and I would especially like to commend the young men from the Frühstucksservice. If we are in Dresden again then in this hotel.

The hotel was very clean, breakfast was great (some of the best hotel breakfast I've had), location was perfect, the staff were very polite and German (i. E. Extremely efficient), bed was very comfortable, coffee maker in the room, shower pressure was good. Etc. The usual (subjective) stuff for any good hotel. Plus, without asking, I got upgraded to a bigger/better room. What impressed/surprised me the most, however, was that when I requested a 4.30am taxi call for my early flight from Dresden Airport, the front desk lady offered to pack me some breakfast for the road. I thought she was BSing, but to my surprise, the nicely packed breakfast was waiting for me at 4.15am. When I opened the package, I was even more surprised to see that the food was decent and fresh, with both a vegetarian and non-vegetarian option, fruit, dessert, and drinks. This is the most impressed I've ever been by a hotel's service. It's the first time I've ever felt compelled to write a review of a hotel. Overall, having stayed in several nice hotels in several countries, Hyperion is easily one of the best hotels I've stayed in.

Location in the middle of the city. Everything is within walking distance. The service is top notch. Friendly but not intrusive. The rooms are very clean, spacious, modern and yet cozy. Sauna is small but nice. We would love to come back.

The location of the hotel is really very good. Many attractions and Restaurants can all be reached by foot very quickly. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The Breakfast and the Bar are excellent. The rooms are very modern and clean. What to complain about, I also the toilets in the room. Two absolutely embarrassing! Since the architect has worked well. Through the glass door and the marble walls, the acoustics will be increased so embarrassing that even the tearing of the toilet paper is no one hidden. Unfortunately, this is a reason to book the next Time somewhere else.

Very nice hotel with veeery nice staff and a hammer breakfast. The situation alone is an argument to linger here. 5-10 walking everywhere. If you catch some leftovers or bargains, you've done everything right:) For 2 people together €300 for 3 nights is really cheap.

Loved the friendly staff and the service. I liked the central location, yet quiet rooms. Rejected the layout of the room — open bathroom is embarrassing when sharing a room. Hotel feels a bit like a sterile Congress hotel. I still recommend the Hyperion.

Nice hotel, very central and staff friendly and accommodating. Especially nice the entertaining and funny lady in the hotel bar.
Negative: Not enough room for hotel guests for breakfast on Sunday morning — one was asked to wait — waiting for the staff to say 30-45min and the remark on our part that the breakfast is only 45min ready it was only smiled at and with the commentary Yes then we vacate Solangsam AB… and for that then €25 — no thanks… that nearby coffee Max Altmarkt also offers a very good breakfast with excellent coffee.

We felt very comfortable from the first to the last minute.
The hotel is very central, the staff is nice and friendly.

Modern hotel in the heart of Dresden.

The hotel is in a great location in the Altstadt clse to many museums, theaters, and shopping. The room was spacious and clean. Hotel staff was very accommodating with umbrellas to borrow when bad weather rolled in. The spa was very nice and recommended. We made our reservation last minute and massages we're all booked up, unfortunately.

Room, Breakfast: Best. All Staff very friendly. However, more than annoying the twice the Price already agreed in March had to be clarified. How can services included in the Package price be Billed again?

Very nice hotel super location, room with the freely spaced guard tables is exceptional. Breakfast was more than super, even extra requests were met without any problems and in a inclusive manner. The hotel is highly recommended.

Hotel is conviniently located and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The only issue with the room is that the shower heads are a bit old and not specially relaxing when taking a shower. The staff is a mix and match: The receptionistwho checked us in was really nice The guy who brought us our rental car and our luggage, was very nice The receptionist who was cold and uninviting (after seeing us waiting for 5 min in the concierge counter, I went to her and asked her for a map and where to go, she was rude to us, as if we shouldn't be asking her) The receptionist who checked us out was stiff and serious.

The room was well equipped with comfortable double bed, TV, minibar (as usual too expensive), capsule coffee maker, kettle, etc.

Very nice hotel with remote from the stereotypical designed rooms with super position between old — and Neumarkt. All the sights of the old town are within walking distance. Getting there by train is no problem. 15 mins. Nice and courteous staff. Very good value for money.

The hotel is only recommended! Located directly in the city and within 1 minute walk in the middle of the sights of Dresden. The rooms are quite large and super equipped. Just parking is a little complicated. By car it goes through one-way streets full of people in the underground garage in which unfortunately no parking is available for each guest, as it can also be used as a public car park. Collecting Paybackpunkte is an additional positive point. The breakfast was very good. There were hot dishes and a variety of breads, rolls and slices.

Have always been happy with this hotel even as it has changed names/franchises over the years. Dresden is a beautiful city and this hotel's location is within walking distance of many attractions.

The hotel is beautiful and the best part is the breakfast. Unfortunately the architect screwed up by putting the toilet next to the bed and in between a thin glass door. So if you love to hear your partner's abdominal sounds, then this is the perfect hotel for you.

The staff is very professional, kind and helpfull. The rooms are bright, modern and clean, only problem is the construction of shower and toilet which are in the middle of the room in a glass-section, so in you are staying with two persons in a room, the other one will totaly hear everything. Bar and restaurant are absolutely sufficient, the quality of offered foods is good. The spa is a little too small and the offered training utilities is also auch little so small, but this is just my opinion. Overall a very nice hotel, located perfectly in the middle of Dresden's Altstadt, shopping possibilities, bars and restaurants very near by. We will not regret our stay.

The best in Dresden! They made our day for our anniversary. We received a room upgrade with free minibar snacks as well as some chocolates and roses as a gift. + Pros + 1. Perfect location in city center 2. Modern and clean rooms 3. Friendly staff — Cons — 1. Expensive parking 2. Expensive breakfast that didn't really worth it. Not so much varieties and no coffee machine at the buffet table. I would rather have my breakfast in a café outside the hotel. Despite the cons I have written, the hotel still deserves the 5 stars rating. I would stay here again.

We were there with two kids and one baby and we had two connecting rooms. The rooms are great, big and modern. The staff is very nice. The breakfast buffet is big and there is a lot of choices. The location at the middle of the old town is quiet, perfect!

The Hotel staff is very nice, but only as long as it has a certain dress code. We had to shop in the city a casual Look. When we were at the reception, people in a suit, walked straight to the reception were served immediately while we had to wait! This is treated nowadays as a paying customer not understandable to me. This Hotel is not advisable, in my opinion!

A weekend were there. Great location, Breakfast was included. The toilet and the shower in the middle of the room, a bit inconvenient I think. We were just in between for a break. In the 3 days we were disturbed 3 times by, among other things, on Sunday morning at 8. With sleep then it was over. We apologized to our Checkout. They had swapped numbers, and room service is apparently. Would the Whole still a Chance the situation alone.

Very friendly and courteous staff, the room was excellent, so we could perfectly start rested the next day. The Breakfast was of the highest quality and is one of the Best of what I could previously enjoy. In my eyes the best place for a Central stay in Dresden.

Can't fault anything here, the location, service, facilities and room were superb, and the price was reasonable given the quality. Best of all, the coffee machine in the room was a decent Krupps and ready to use!

Second stay within a 3/4 year — 5 days. It was again everything to our complete satisfaction. There was nowhere to put anything. The friendliness of all staff some other hotels in DD can cut a thick slice! Weiterso! Repetition is guaranteed!

Very large spacious rooms, with all kinds of comfort. Owner coffee machine and minibar was or is included in the price.
The shower is separate just like the toilet.
I had a room towards construction site but I have not heard anything and slept like a rock.
The breakfast in the morning was excellent and it was very quiet even though the restaurant was quite crowded.
Unfortunately, you can eat even so much as it is to choose.
The service was excellent.
The day before, I've enjoyed also the Spa, two saunas and the relaxation area. Excellent
It's also enough to drink available.
Simply switch off from everyday life and once again his heart beat can be heard.

Excellent hotel situated in the heart of Dresden.

I would be again all around happy as repeat offenders.
Located in the old town you can easily reach walking all major attractions.
The service at the hotel is really friendly and the room nor the breakfast no wishes stay open.
Special fall have I to the sauna with relaxation room in the vaulted cellar from the 14th century found.
The price / performance ratio is top! Significant hotels offer for my taste, slightly more (unnecessary) but double or triple price — everyone must decide for themselves.
P. S. : especially the service at breakfast (we Susanne) is particularly noteworthy.

A non-classified Hotel with alleged 5-star Service. This time there should be no known 5-star Hotel but something new. So they decided on the Swissotel Dresden Am Schloss, which, according to a statement from the employee is a 5-star Service offered but not classified. The reviews were good, consequently, expectations were high. Arrived the first minor Surprise. There was no Doorman to greet front of the Hotel. A Concierge Service, there was apparently not, at least carried none of the employees of the Golden key. The reception was friendly and pleasant, then it was in accompaniment on the rooms. We had a nearly 50-square-metre Grand room with a very nice bathroom inclusive shower and tub. The furniture is modern, only the wooden tables and cabinets meadows in our room some of the damage. The Minibar was according to a statement in the price inclusive. This, however, was very sparsely populated and, unfortunately, was not by itself be populated. As the lack of drinks ordered, they were on the bill, even though this actually including ought to be. The Turn Down Service was in the evening by a very friendly fellow, always to our complete satisfaction done. In the night, the room was very quiet and nice soft comfortable beds you could very well sleep. The Breakfast room resembled, unfortunately, too much of a canteen, although the offer was very good. Only the scrambled eggs was a disaster.

During a business trip I have in the Swisshotel Dresden and stayed the night. The location is right in the center. The Doorman has my car, Checkin has been quick and friendly to work, the room was very pleasantly decorated. The Breakfast is top, everything is clean and tidy. Short. Super Hotel with very good staff. I'll be back.

An absolutely stylish, with attention to Detail furnished Hotel, in a Prime location in the old town. The staff is very nice and helpful. Meets every feasible request. The Restaurant is worth a visit and here is an extra big thank you to the operation (Annika and the nice gentlemen as well). An absolute Highlight is the room architecture to see. To test it out. We had room no. 115. Compared to the Stallhof.

Location Top. Clean. Modern Décor. Breakfast buffet was rich, but often times with empty water bottles or fruit bowls. Bicycle rental 15€/day is not cheap, bikes but in top condition. Water/free Nespresso in the room Nice Spa/Fitness area, unfortunately only with a Sauna. No Pool/hot tub Etc Warm and very friendly Service makes still all up for it. Therefore 5 Stars.

Spitzenhotel in an optimal location Hotel staff very friendly and competent. Sights are very good to walk. Rooms very good with little Extras such as an espresso machine Hotel I would book again at any time.

By far the best Hotel (this price range) in Germany. Honest and friendly Service in all areas, huge selection at the Breakfast buffet. Nespresso machine in the room. W-Lan is really fast and free. The sauna is relaxation and in an ancient vaulted cellar integrated. Insanely good! I'm going this year between Christmas and new year's eve back there to relax.

We were staying at the hotel when you book with Expedia for € 92 per night, breakfast not included. This fee is absolutely brilliant though it seems, at least at the time we stayed there, the five-star hotel in the Centre of Dresden were relatively cheap. To this figure must be added if you are travelling with your own vehicle, € 22 for the garage, as the hotel is situated perfectly, to the center of the historical city, wonderful and a must visit. There is little to say about the structure and the services, are as they should be.
