From reception to check out everything was perfect. The staff is exceptionally friendly and seems to be in a very good mood, as everyone does his job with passion and a lot of passion. The rooms are large, very attractively renovated and visually well thought out. Especially the bathroom was very nice, the design luxurious. The breakfast was also excellent, fresh waffles and various egg dishes promise a good start to the day. Many coffee specialties were served to the guest at the table. The service staff seemed relaxed and without any hustle and bustle, which you often feel in many hotels. The spa was cozy, the design very good and the massages are highly recommended.
The location in the middle of the beautiful city center is ideal for excursions and walks, in the area you will also find many good cafes and restaurants within walking distance.

Anyone who knows Steigenberger knows that the hotels are often housed in beautiful, old buildings. It's a bit darker, more dignified, but for me it's very nice, it doesn't always have to be modern. I feel very comfortable here.

Had 5 very nice days at the Steigenberger Granhotel very well eaten in the restaurant Le Grand on Wednesday evening celebrated the birthday of meimem husband and immediately for our last evening on Saturday a table reserved staff in the whole hotel top eat top much more you can not say we will come back again.

Great hotel. Very comfortable and accommodating. The breakfast buffet was easily the best breakfasts I've ever had (which says a lot, given that it's a buffet). I would love to return to Leipzig again some day, and this hotel would be at the absolute top of my list of accommodations.

Nicely decorated room, pretty large with clean and new bathroom. Contemporary decor that still exude the feel of old Saxony. The only gripe is that the TV seems to be out of proportion with the size of the room. It's small. The SPA facilities is good and well kept.

A great disappointment. A nice and decent hotel, but sadly a very unprofessional and rather rude management. A problem of theirs occured, which obviously was of their weak organizing skills, that was eventually handled in a very poor manner. The hotel manager is a rather rude person treating problems in an unprofessional way. We must say rather scandalous and intolerable. In the end even pretended not to be able to speak the proper level of English that his position would demand. Altogether not recommended to visit. We will not return. Thank you.

Stayed a few times in this hotel. It's a historic building but everything is up to date. Amenities like the restaurant, the bar and wellness area are very nice. A lot of art is everywhere. Expensive, but worth it. ^_^

Cozy hotel, pleasant staff.

Once upon a time, merchandise was that crossed the thresholds to a large number of. Just as high must be the number of stories that the walls would have to tell. You could then listen to you for hours and only one thing is really guaranteed. If you want to find yourself in the history of the city of Leipzig, you are well advised to stay in the trade courtyard!

Stayed 6 nights at this perfectly located top notch hotel. My company attended a Congress with my colleagues were spread out across various hotels in town. We ended up gathering at this hotel every night due to the superb location and beautiful bar. Service, rooms, breakfast and cocktails were all great! I don’t think you can do any better in Leipzig.

Phenomenal hotel! The location is perfect, walking distance from all the landmarks and sites. The staff was very friendly and professional. The rooms were gorgeous, especially the bathroom. I also mentioned that my wife and I were celebrating our anniversary and they gave us a complimentary bottle of champagne. Overall it was a wonderful experience and if I am visiting Leipzig again I wouldn't stay anywhere else!

A great Hotel with very pleasant staff and Service. The Hotel is suitable both for overnight Stays, Events but also for a nice evening at the Bar. Many of the shops are directly located in the proximity to the market and the city centre of Leipzig. Only the Parking situation is not necessarily the best but the environment is a place you will always find.

Excellent hotel, which opened only seven years ago and is accordingly modernly equipped. The staff-from the concierge to the trainee-is incredibly accommodating, friendly, knowledgeable, always striving without being intrusive. For me, this is clearly the "first house in the Square". I'd love to come back.

The Steigenberger Grandhotel deserves fully each one of its 5 stars. Our stay there was perfect. Great rooms. Clean, quiet, elegant. Excellent staff and room service. Probably the best choice in Leipzig. The price is of course proportional to the excellent quality that you get. Absolutely fantastic.

The best house I could experience on my travels. A tribute to hospitality. Above average service, gastronomy excellent, the rooms a dream. Five stars Plus… I would say. I'm sure I'll be back.

Centrally located very nice hotel in the centre of Leipzig, unfortunately the service does not quite meet the requirements of the house! We visited the smoking lounge and had to wait a long time for the service, even the equipment and cleanliness there did not fit the high standards of the hotel!

Beautiful hotel, amazing staff. The only reason I gave 4 Star is that the Wi-Fi is limited to 1Mb/second (this is stated when connecting to the hotel resort). 1Mb/second was fast in 1995… not 2017. The staff told me “we know it’s very slow”. Also, there is no option to upgrade connection speed. This is a 5 Star hotel that accommodate many foreign business guest. I travelled all over Germany in hotels in castle that are much older and internet speed is never an issue. Everything else is perfect. Fix it guys!

Terrible the social climate is under all sow.
The wage likes to come too late. The students mob among each other.
And in the case of alleged mistakes you are physically threatened, by this Assi — Bachmann, who at 40 is still a student.
So far, I have experienced such bad working climbs almost only in Saxony.
Luckily, I quit here.

The hotel is great. Have been able to accommodate my aunt and uncle here. The staff were extremely courteous and always in a good mood. The bar in the foyer was good for having a few drinks. The brasserie is also recommended! The food was tasty and very nicely prepared. In addition, the operation immediately improved in the event of a small complaint.
All in all very excellent!

Sumptuous! This is an absolutely gorgeous hotel. Service is fabulous — courteous, helpful, discrete. Food was wonderful. I cannot recommend highly enough.

Loved the location and the mix of classic and modern. Liked the gym and the spa, plus the Nespresso machine in the room. Hated the fact that internet did not work in my room and the gym.

Nice rooms but cleaning was lacking. Also we wanted a big king size bed but we only got 2 singles put together.

Wonderful place with delicious overpriced cappuccino. Laundry service didn't iron my shirts. That's what I would have expected, especially if I explicitly ask for it. However, the overall experience was very satisfying. Did I mention the cappuccino was delicious?
