This place is a total rip off. Too much loud music from the appartments next door. The reception closes at 10pm, so if you experience any noise, disturbance, problems, etc. It apparently is YOUR problem. The management is too cheap to hire a nightwatch for their guests and they won't pick up the phone after 10pm. We experienced loud music untill 3am, we called, emailed, rang doors in the street, nothing, nada. Your problem. According to this family owned hotel, owning or renting a building has nothing to do with taking any responsibility. All we got were sorry and a free breakfast if we were going to stay next time (NOT! ). Oh yeah, and some false accusations of getting a bottle of wine to compensate our troubles (NONSENSE! ). Trier has so much better to offer than this piece of trash. No soap in the shower, no cleaning of the room, nothing. A clear waste of time and money…
