Friendly staff, nice rooms, family friendly…

Large rooms, really big bathroom, great spa with swirls and whirlpool, very good food, good wine, great terrace, nice balcony, great view of the Rhön, nice staff — what more could you want?

Kids indoor playground is great. Indoor pool super nice. Restaurant great. Class Food… Our favorite hotel.

Very nice hotel. The restaurant is very nice too.

Child-friendly hotel. Ponyhof is not open at the moment. Large indoor playground, small playgrounds outside. You can hike beautifully. However, it is a bit remote. Once you have gone to the city and taken a taxi (9€). Bus only runs once an hour. There is a lot to look at in the city. Beautiful spa park, shopping center, museums.

Nice, cosy hotel with an indescribably beautiful view. That alone makes everything 100 times nicer. Breakfast was very rich, dinner was also good. The hotel is a bit old and a renovation would certainly not be wrong. The wellness area is beautiful and invites you to relax. All in all, you can't complain about value for money.

I was at Göbel's Hotel Rodenberg for dinner with colleagues. As a dish, I ordered a Rotenburger. The price was very high for the region at €1616. In anticipation of an above-average burger — it's supposed to be a 4-star house after all — I got a predominantly standard burger. This was served with a few standard toppings (cucumbers, tomatoes, etc. ). The pattie looked like one from wholesale. Fries was also normal frozen standard food therefore absolute disappointment!
The great view over Rotenburg and the Fulda was positive. The other ambience did not seem to my taste, like that of a 4-star house.

The food is absolutely fine, a nice selection, something for everyone.
It is very appetizing and fresh — all in all you can only recommend this hotel in a very clear way.

A great family hotel. The one it is far away from the shot, you can relax here with small children.

We were there with young children. We got one of the "older" DZs. But that is already the only "negative, " if you can describe it as such. These are housed in a side house. The road to the main house takes a little, but everything is inside. The indoor playground with outdoor playground is top, the swimming pool warm and sufficient, the sauna beautifully laid out. The buffet is small but qualitatively very good: There was two days of asparagus, once barbecue buffet, always salmon, once antipasti buffet and and and so. The employees were always nice and helpful. Around the hotel there is a petting zoo (right next to the hotel), game enclosures and adventure playground (about 20 minutes walk). A beer garden about 10 minutes away. The bowling alley was fine. The Spa Lounge is modern and offers great treatments. We can't complain and like to come back.
There is a need for refurbishment here and there. And wood optics may not be to everyone's taste. Still, it's clean.

Beautiful hotel scenery. A little cluttered, many buildings at different levels. But all connected so you can get dry from one place to another. Breakfast is ok, event service too.

Something aging star hotel that needs urgent redevelopment here and there. Service and food bid very nice. Great location and views of Rotenburg!

4 stars not worth it. Staff partly in the wrong profession. Dinner a mockery. Level got very bad. We're not coming after the second time. Very dischanted.

Quite good, can once again be renovated, but clean and large rooms! To recommend the Wellness and Spa area very much. Cocktail bar is cozy.

We had a girls ' wellness weekend from Friday to Sunday. The hotel is nicely located, check in was quick and straightforward, rooms are rustic but clean, large bathroom, positive were next to the bathrobes a bath bag with extra towel for the spa area.
The breakfast service was very friendly and there was always coffee replenishment. Everything else was filled up, too. In the cold/warm Abendbufett, the food was partly lukewarm.
Our intermediate stop at the "ALM" is also a positive reminder for us.
Except for a few little things that we complained about when we left at the front desk, we were all satisfied.
We will definitely come back.

The breakfast service was very friendly and there was always coffee supply. Everything else was replenished. With the cold / warm evening buffet, the food was unfortunately only lukewarm.
Our stopover at the "Alm" is also well remembered.
Except for a few small things that we complained about at the reception on departure, we were completely satisfied.
We will definitely be back.

Very nice and attentive staff. The breakfast Sbuffet is OK and you will find everything you need. Cereal and fruit included.
Dinner in buffet style is great. Those who have booked half board in the package do not need more!

Rooms are convenient, the paths there are sometimes very cumbersome, except in the main house. The furnishing has come a little in the years, no longer modern. Food and service are very good. In the spa area you can see some weak spots.

On the recommendation of a friend, I booked the hotel for myself and my children. But must say unfortunately, very disappointed. That started with the arrival. No welcome at the reception, or did you have a pleasant trip, nice that you are there. Nothing. The rooms were dirty. Pubic hair in the bathroom, cigarette butts under the bed and on the balcony, hairpins and the carpet resembled a crumb landscape. All mirrors dusty, tiles face dirt. Lime where the eye looks. Shower only Sperlig water and the soap tray was a whizzing bow. No big towels. Safe was not open and I was astonished as well. We were already in a 2 and 4stars hotel and there were already digital safes and here? Old cupboard with key? Sorry 4 stars? complained at the reception. Were totally overwhelmed and annoyed, according to the complaints. Sorry but I am a guest and we have paid. The lady for Housekeeping was nice. Tried to save what was to save. But also no small toiletries in the bathroom.? The food in the restaurant was unfortunately very disappointing. Well no good evening we were brought to the table, that was it. Point. Only after the request we received a beverage card. The food was cold and unlovingly served, a gewussel like in a canteen. Only after inquiries was replenished. My kids were very disappointed. 4 Star Nivo. No, unfortunately not. Only a Kelner asked if everything was good. He was also unfortunately very stressful but polite. The breakfast is the same. The long journey was not worth it.

Food is edible, but no revelation. After 7 days you know the range of the kitchen and can no longer see sweet chili sauce. The most food is finished food from the froster or the bag. The hotel has already seen its best days.
Both my colleagues and I had problems with the beds. I haven't slept through the night.
The heating can also only be regulated conditionally.
You get a note in the room that you get a voucher if the hotel staff does not have to clean the room in one day.
The hotel does not leave a lasting positive impression.

Actually, the Gabriel's is a very nice hotel. Located on the Rodenberg, you have a beautiful view of the countryside and the town of Rotenburg a. D. Fulda, which is within walking distance. Our double room in the main house was large and well kept. The breakfast and dinner was served as a buffet and was plentiful and delicious except for cattle dishes. The swimming pool and sauna area, as well as the fitness room, are very attractively designed. Overall, the hotel is therefore worth as an object its 4 stars, its price and another trip. However, we will never go there again, as we have travelled extra because of the large wellness area and thus have been immensely disappointed. Of the five saunas, the whole morning was only one in operation, another was continuously defective and three more were opened in the course of the afternoon, two even at 15.00 o'clock or later. Since children and dressed persons also ran uncontrollably through the sauna area and paying guests were admitted from outside, there was often a lot of restlessness in the designated rest area. Even the hotel's staff led loud conversations in the sauna area with well-known guests, so that there was often no reason to think about rest and relaxation. Infusions were only available once a week in the evening at 21.00 and 22.00 o'clock. In addition, cleaning staff began to perform cleaning operations from 5pm onwards, which also caused unrest and uncomfortable mood.

The best, there can be nothing the same as this experience. You may find cheaper but you won't find a better more genuine experience. The best staff the best hotel. If your staying near take your time and book here for the beautiful culture.

Great hotel, nice staff. Only downside if you booked in the guesthouse you have to be well on foot. Not suitable for people with handicap when running. Should perhaps be noted in the hotel description on it. Otherwise highly recommended.

The hotel is really nice and due to the great location you have a good view of Rotenburg. All the staff are really friendly. The food offered is plentiful and good. However, it is sometimes quite nice close to the buffet and the goulash and the soups are often quite salty. The rooms are very large and beautiful. A visit here is definitely worth it.

I spent a week at this hotel for a Firebrand training. I have never paid so much for training with such a small and uncomfortable room. It is necessary to cross ascending ascent of stairs or corridors to reach the restaurant area of the main hotel. I advise you not to spend a moment there.

Solid Urdeutsches Hotel, in the course of the renovation, slowly but surely the design note of the Nineties disappears. Breakfast plentiful, but a big drawback is the overzealous service line that literally pulls the plate under your hands.

An ideal place for a short break with the whole family. You are independent of the weather and can be pampered.

The hotel is so far in order, unfortunately not really the future to be turned everything still somewhat old and dark designed.
The staff is nimble, nice and accommodating.
Our room was large and clean.
Unfortunately, the care and service in the sauna and pool area is not very desirable. Something should be done urgently. A few real plants that were not completely dusty would be a start.
The massages and staff in this area was also courteous and professional.
The surroundings also invite you to relax and unwind in the midst of nature.

Clean, spacious rooms, friendly staff, extensive buffets in the morning & evening. Nice spa area, spa in the hotel. Well suited for families with children, as koala children's land also in the hotel.

The hotel is no longer on a good standard. There is no supervision in the swimming pool, and it is necessary to let people jump from the edge of the pool without any consideration. If you don't want to land on some amateur shots of mobile phone owners, you should avoid the bathing area in general. Furthermore, the hotel is very noisy and not suitable for quiet relaxing days but rather an absolute family hotel with a corresponding volume.

Nice large rooms, good food but unfortunately very noisy. No oversight in the Spa thus also very restless and noisy. Many children jumping from the edge of the pool. Well suited for families but less for couples who want to relax.

The hotel and the rooms were quite nice as well as the spa, swimmibgpool and sauna. I did not really like the food as it tasted like take out. We had a 6 course dinner however which was okay. Service was a bit slow and not very professional at some times. The people at the spa who did the massages etc were very friendly and professional. I thought it was an overall okay stay.

The hotel Malga is great fun with music always with Bavarian evenings. The food is highly recommended to coffee drinking very well and in the afternoon a visit to homemade cakes.

Very friendly staff, good Breakfast, country and children's play area were perfect for our 2 kids! The Hotel is clean and the Parking garage is free of charge. Who the 80s like is the interior furnishings of the fallen.

Good Hotel with a nice location above the city and wonderful views. Room with large balcony and well furnished. Great Spa area in the basement of the building. The food provides, unfortunately, little to no organic or vegetarian food. Here you can still be better.
