A visit is always worthwhile, even to the events.

This beautiful place is a must see! The castle museum is so well organised. The staff here is nothing short of amazing! The rooms in the hotel are beautiful and nicely renovated. The restaurant serves top notch, delicious food. This property is only a short walk away from the banks of the river Rhine.
My husband and I not only strongly recommend this place, but we both hope to return here in the future.

We stayed overnight on 16 day trip through Western Europe. This may have been my favorite overall experience. The rooms were perfect, the bar and restaurant were outstanding, and we were free to tour the castle and grounds which were amazing! A+ / First Class. Thanks again.

Beautiful and expansive castle, the grounds are in excellent condition, the numerous displays are very interesting with plenty of explanations, and the view of the Rhine is incredible! A must-see on any trip to western Germany!

A gorgeous, picturesque castle located on — and with amazing views of — the the Rhine River. The museum is fascinating. The hotel beautifully and meticulously renovated. And the restaurant and crew are all lovely! We already look forward to our return visits!

I was very positively surprised so beautiful of interiors as the exterior. We would come back at any time. My children found it very good and I was surprised how much my kids liked it. My little one did not want to go.

The view from the castle is beautiful. It has the largest collection if iron plates un Germany. It also have about 1500 dear hunting trophies. The antiques are stunning. There is also a hotel and the restaurant, Puricelli is wonderful with excellent services. I feel so fortunate to live in Germany again and be able to visit these beautiful and historic castles.

To impress as a wedding DJ with almost 30 weddings per year, sometimes in the most beautiful Locations in the Rhine-Main area is still relatively hard. Burg reichenstein has done it, however. A Location the king is both the location, appearance, but also the Service truly "human". What bride doesn't dream of their wedding to be a Princess? For all the ladies who don't have the good fortune to meet a noble, here's your Chance, at least, like to celebrate a real Princess in the castle. 100% recommendation of Gold Djs.

Beautiful place to visit. The castle was a dream come true. We stayed 1 night, breakfast was excellent, dinner plates were expensive but good food, great staff. Museum was very interesting and beautiful.

We stayed at the hotel for a few nights. The museum and castle were really neat to explore. The rooms were nice and the staff was very nice, especially the restaurant workers who were excellent. I would have rated as 4 or 5 stars, but one of the nights we were staying, the restaurant was closed for a private event. We did not have a car, and there is absolutely nowhere else to eat nearby (read this closely, if you aren't eating in the hotel and don't have a car, you are really stuck). We ended up taking a train to a nearby town for dinner (made dinner a 3 hour affair of schlepping to and fro when it could have been a relaxing night of great wine and food on the balcony at the hotel). This was a major inconvenience for what we had planned to be a quiet few days of just relaxing and not running around. With the private party taking up all of the public spaces in the hotel we had to hide in our rooms for the entire evening. Good hospitality would dictate letting guests know about these types of things in advance so they can work around them or change their plans. As it was, we were left high and dry. Made what was a highly pleasant stay, highly unpleasant.

If you ever wanted to stay in a castle, this is the one!
The castle, hotel, restaurant and staff were all first-class, yet, pricing was very reasonable.
We were fortunate enough to stay here last week, and could not have been happier. The castle has been fully restored to its original majesty. It is the perfect combination of modern (guest rooms and restaurant) and true medieval. Our family room (Room #7) was very spacious, plenty of room for four, with the master bed located in a loft upstairs. The outdoor deck was enormous, and overlooked the Rhine.
The restaurant was excellent. Breakfast was served to you (vs the typical buffet) and was an endless stream of bread, pastries, jams, meats and specially prepared egg dishes. The 5-star gourmet dinner was fabulous. And the outdoor terrace overlooking the river was beautiful.
Their Museum is actually a tour through the endless grounds, featuring medieval weapons and armor, decor, furniture, hundreds of trophy antlers and much more. Don't miss it.
Equally fabulous was the staff. Everyone, from Fr. Kleemann at the reception, to the restaurant and grounds staff) was extremely friendly, helpful and attentive. They went all-out to ensure your stay was comfortable and enjoyable. They were also very knowledgeable about the surrounding areas and towns, boat excursions, etc. And very helpful in planning an itinerary.
The castle location is great, and easy to get to.

The last I was there with my wife was in 2013 and it was a good experience then, but now after the renovations from the past 3 years and present it was a great experience for me and my family. With a lot more of the area open to the public it's been awesome exploring the castle and the history it holds. I would extremely recommend visiting atleast once because you will want to come again.
