Good 4 star hotel without any real flaws. The breakfast is excellent! The rooms are large enough, cleanliness is always good. I have stayed here more than 20 times now and I always like to come back.

Were from — 20 to 18 with our adult children in Your Hotel. We had booked comfort double rooms. Rooms were large enough, Bathroom something small and not exactly nice. Open Wardrobe was in need of getting used to. Work could still be done on breakfast. Sausage — and Cheese Selection very monotonous. The Location was great. Directly opposite the upper city elevator.

The room was big, clean, the beds in order. For the price, a minibar in the room would have been desirable. The information on the in-house car park case could have been more detailed in in-house parking. The central location is a plus point — the noise at night from the road, on the other hand, is a disadvantage, it bothered me a lot.
The breakfast buffet was very rich — the place for it and the breakfast room as a whole I found to be very narrow. Unfortunately, it was difficult to register a family member for breakfast in addition and day before — this would only be possible before 9 o 'clock, according to the information/reception.
Service staff in the breakfast room were quick, attentive and friendly.
It is nice that there is the possibility to eat breakfast in the courtyard — but the guests had to set up the seats themselves. The door outside is heavy and with dishes etc. In the hand bad to use.
Thank you for the fresh apples in the bowl at the reception — I find this very attentive.

It is an average hotel with good location: it is located in the city centre. Opposite the entrance in the other side of the road there is a lift/stairs where you can go directly up to the old town. The breakfast was good though it was full and not so big. We managed to take the last free table. I assume someone who arrived after us had to wait a little bit. The room was tidy, the bed was typical hotel bed with soft sponge. The bathroom was also fine with all necessary requirements. The only strange thing was the air ventilation in the bathroom. It was so loud I felt myself on a helicopter. Really… Anyway, I am happy to recommend the hotel because of the location.

This hotel would need a renovation… The only thing that saves him is the position.

The hotel is located in the centre of Marburg. Parking spaces are available for a fee in the underground car park. The rooms are adequate for a 4-star hotel. The service is very friendly.

What a good all nearby shops cafes where you can eat and lift across the road.

The hotel is O. K. The price for the service offered is far too high. Come here a few years but slowly the varnish is off.

It is not possible to stay centrally in Marburg. Right in front of the elevators to the historic metropolis.
The rooms are large enough, modern and quiet.
The breakfast is solid and does not provide any surprises.
Note: Parking is subject to charges in the car park. At the reception overnight for 15 euros.

Very nice, clean rooms. Centrally located. Opposite the hotel is an elevator to the city. Great for wheelchair users and lame. In the immediate vicinity is the beautiful old town, the castle and the Elisabeth Church.

Very nice, central hotel. Good access to the oberstadt of Marburg. Nice simple rooms and very friendly reception. Second time there and really enjoyed my stay.

Stay was pleasant. Hotel is standard but for 4 stars and the price per night I would have really expected more. In the room the bed was marked by clear signs of use at the edge and underneath (covering under the bed hanging down in shreds visibly). Also, the bed was very well located. The bathroom also had some signs of use. The breakfast was good, but also nothing extraordinary. Instead of having to do a lot of food again and again, maybe create more variety. Moreover, the staff (or better part of it) at breakfast was clearly overtaxed (and the "guard" people barely came after the other hinterherzuräumen) : Places were not covered, food leftovers on the floor were not removed. Moreover, it is strange that for a coffee speciality you have to ask the staff for the first time because nobody comes to the table and asks. Employees should be better trained here. Also the room service should not knock in the morning around 8Uhr in the room and then simply come in, just because there is no sign on it and you do not get it out of the bed so quickly to make yourself noticeable in time. The said is all right and doesn't really bother you, but then you should probably go down the price and the stars clearly! Then the disappointment is less!

The hotel is nice to stay but spacing in room can be improved. The hotel has healthy breakfast options available perfect to kick start a day.

The staff were very helpful and the room was very comfortable. Price model with included breakfast for non-breakfast business travellers inappropriate, price model for underground parking laughable. Claim and reality are far apart.

Good four star hotel near Old Town of Marburg. Underground Garage under the hotel, which is also available for public use and can therefore be used for some time. Directly in front of the hotel is the elevator to the old town. It doesn't get any better. The rooms have open storage areas, no cupboards. Not everyone's thing. Service and breakfast are good. Of course, the prices could be lower, but the location and Marburg in itself, are worth it.

Overall excellent in the core categories, e. G. Cleanliness, friendly personnel, amenities, etc. Only very minor drawbacks: Wi-Fi in my room was hard to reach, slow and unstable. The mineral water bottle in the room was not free of charge.

The Welcome Hotel is situated very close to the centre of Marburg. There is an elevator just across the road which takes you up to the very beautiful old town. Well worth a visit. The staff at the hotel were lovely and really helpful. Our German is very limited and they very kindly spoke to us in English. The room was very spacious, with lovely lighting, and the bed was very comfortable. We didn't try the restaurant as it was closed for a few days, but the staff pointed us in the right direction for a range of other lovely restaurants and we found exactly what we wanted very close by. We actually wanted to stay longer as it was such a good experience! Highly recommend.

Outlets defective, ceiling lights were missing, table lamp defective, mold in the shower, the bed was through, mattress old and equally through. Only breakfast was ok. Service solala … And that's for 120 euros? Thank God we had a voucher, but we can redeem these haetettes elsewhere. No question, we'll be back … But in the welcome certainly no more.

Well located, but the price — performance ratio seems inappropriate to me. The breakfast is good. Ambiance of a 08-15 conference hotel. Right in front of the window is a well-run road.

Parking in the underground garage is not easy to reach. Everything is very tight there and the one and exit must be used in both directions, although this path is not easily visible and you may have to drive backwards again in the parking zone in order to allow a pure driving car. Moreover, the service staff at breakfast is partly inattentive and you have the feeling of canteen, not of hotel.

The hotel is very well located right in front of the elevator that goes to the old town. The staff is friendly smiling effective.
The Wi-Fi works well on the phone but on the laptop of the job with VPN CA does not work it is necessary that the server gives a voucher because the free Wi-fi does not work.
The rooms are all clean. On the other hand according to the location some have problems of Airco and it is very hot so it is necessary to open the window and then you hear the noise of the street. Otherwise the air conditioning fzit a little noise in some rooms. The breakfast is plentiful. I often come to Marburg for work I had to come six times in a year. It is a good hotel as well as Marburg her off.

Clean and discreet breakfast.

Centrally located, friendly staff, decent bedrooms, would certainly come back. I do not rate with 10 points because there are a few things to criticize.

The staff is very kind and doing a good job. Cleaning of room excellent. Breakfast, however, has to be better. I enjoy a boiled egg — but not the "Welcome-style" i. E. It is green inside. In our 4 days stay we did only enjoy egg the first morning. And cheese has always been at big problem at yours. We do not understand how you are able to serve completely tasteless cheese. You did it this year — and also in the past. Germany must be able to deliver better. Apart from that the hotel is very well situated close to the lift to Oberstadt. And close to all the small shops. Also easy to reach by car.

I have the suite room. The balcony is nice. The breakfast is good. Only if they have a gym and swimming pool.

This was a great place for us to stay, and we really enjoyed it. We wanted two separate bedrooms, so got one of the apartment suites (I think they were callled) and it worked out great for us! Excellent location, easy access to nearby attractions and lots of places to eat. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfast buffets we have ever had!

Very nice place! We booked the 2 room suite and thought that it only had one bedroom, but there was actually two separate bedrooms and a sitting area. The place was very clean. The breakfast buffet was very nice (not just a continental breakfast). The four course dinner that came with the reservation was a very nice fine dining experience. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Everything perfect from the room to the breakfast.
The only "key" sore is the poor and discontinuous reception of the Wi-Fi signal.

Price performance does not fit! For the easiest DZ 162 € and 15 € Parking fee paid. The room is very sparsely furnished. Shower is very narrow and the shower head has Schwarzschimmel. Breakfast is very unloving structured and not to 4* standard. Volume in the dining room very loud. Conclusion: There are better and cheaper Accommodation in the near vicinity with less *. The fixed menus are clear coated. In our opinion, a rip-off what is the price for Marburg circumstances did not justify. No Recommendation!

Die Lage und der Service sind sehr gut. Bei einem vier Sterne Hotel noch 15 € für die Garage zu bezahlen finde ich ein starkes Stück. Eine Flasche Wasser und Knabberzeug ohne Kühlschrank als Minibar zu bezeichnen, ist vielleicht Marburger Humor aber die Silberfischepedemie im Badezimmer ist für mich höchstens zwei Sterne wert. Das Frühstück wiederum war voll in Ordnung.

Location of the hotel is very good, directly in the city centre, opposite the Elevator to the old town. Hotel room was spacious, however, the mattresses have, unfortunately, no Four stars deserves. Breakfast was ok, staff very friendly.

The Hotel was very well located and had a very nice staff. The food was good, however, you had to often wait a long time until replenished. The room we had, was not to the level of a 4-star hotel. The walls and the shower were dirty. It has us very disappointed, booked in a Smoking room had been to be without first discussing it with us. Thus the nights were for us very uncomfortable.

Overpriced! For 131 EUR you get a large, but uncomfortable and "zusammengestückeltes" room. Abstruse mini-bar prices and not even a bottle of water in the room. The Breakfast is for a 4-star property, normal and ok, nothing really special. BUT really bad is the Breakfast room — absolutely undersized. There was not a single free seat more, we were then in a very uncomfortable room to be deported. The Buffet was constantly empty and the Frühstücksgäste were Waiting for each other on the feet. Chaotic, loud, uncomfortable and a zerpflücktes Buffet that was nothing! Only the staff had, in spite of the Chaos always have a friendly Smile, ready — admirable! The next Marburg visit we'll be back in our Stammhotel go and the Welcome Hotel is widely avoided.

In general it was all good… I was there for one night only… the only negative aspect was that Wi-Fi internet access was extremely slow, almost impossible to even check email or do online check in, which I ended up doing in the lobby computer also extremely slow….

It was a lovely hotel, right in the heart of Marburg. Unlike many of the other hotels we stayed at during our European holiday, breakfast and Wi-Fi were included in the reasonable price for the room. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
