Convenient. Great restaurant and great price for Frankfurt Airport.

Smelly room, and rubbish wi fi. Staff not very friendly. Hotel could do with a make over. Expensive beer.

Giving a 4* only because food was very good. Otherwise this property is in severe need of upgrades. Odor was very irritating as well as bedding smells.
The only other positive is that the facility has AC, which for westerners, will make for a more comfortable stay in summer.

It was okay for one night but definitely not a 4 star hotel. The food was good though.

The building is very receded and in a little rugged state, the room is clean though, and the breakfast is tasty. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Check-in was easy and the reception was nice. Room was clean and comfortable, restaurant was nice. There was a lovely path that ran to the river. The shuttle to the airport is infrequent but it's a short ride, ~10. The only thing missing, perhaps, is a coffee machine/water boiler in the room. Overall a good place to stay.

Received a room here on the main floor which was marked non-smoking. However the bathroom did smell of smoke and had very old fixtures/bathtub. Overall the bathroom did not seem clean I would say. The bed was clean enough and most of the channels worked on the televison. Other than the fact that this Hotel is cheap, I would not recommend it. Short Version — Rooms are dirty, food is overpriced, booking is cheap, location is close to airport — your call.

It is clean, but in the years to come. Breakfast is ok but the Burner. Staff is great and friendly. For an Overnight stay before the flight it is OK. A caretaker for the Review of the Sanitary facilities would be appropriate. Because that is totally dilapidated.

Modern, clean and cosy. Adequate price. Pool in the basement good for switching off and relaxing. Top breakfast and a first-class dinner. Great staff. Shuttle bus from the hotel to the airport and back.
Also at the bar good choice and the usual friendly service.

Nice hotel, quite close to the airport and the surrounding companies in Kelsterbach. But there is not much around, except these two. So only recommendable for business trips.

I'm going to hit it like this, the hotel's been riding down. The price is OK. We arrived only 2:00 in the morning, the staff were extremely friendly, the breakfast in the morning great, view of the pond Nice, shuttle service worked out.

The house has come in the years. Not always clean and much should be put into position. The hotel is not really cheap.

Bad hotel, bad service, bad location, it really not worth for EUR 400/night… quick summary.

Emailed hotel a few days before arrival to ask about where to meet the shuttle bus from airport; they never responded. Once we arrived, waited ages for shuttle from airport to hotel. Called hotel twice and was told both times it would be there in 5 minutes. It never arrived, so we took a taxi at our cost. Check in was slow. Internet is slow. Fitness room is a joke. Check out was fine and shuttle back to airport was on time (must book in advance). Rooms small, shower was uncomfortable. Bed was ok but the blankets and sheets were lacking. Would not recommend.

Perfect for 1-2 nights. You will notice the rooms that have already come in the years. The staff was very nice. Also the offer at the bar was perfectly fine. Unfortunately the air conditioning was quite noisy and TV remote control also did not work properly. So no serious disadvantages.

Completely unacceptable, don't waste your money or ruin your day. Quick summary Staff is out of control and rude. Rooms are small and the shuttle service a mess. Long story Hotel itself is probably a 2 star at best and only without considering the service and training of the staff. Very small rooms, probably the smallest hotel room I have seen so far. They do have a shuttle to the airport but be careful to reserve it in advance and german punctuality is actually not honored by the shuttle service, therefore reserve the one 30 minutes ahead of time… The receptionist that day was completely unacceptable. During check out he needed to explain his life story, why he did not sleep well and of course why he did not have time for breakfast. All of this by the way as a mono conversation. He made a huge deal about not wanting cash and gave a long explication that everybody is using credit cards now a days. He even went so far to compain that he would need to actually count and of course would get in trouble afterward since he most likely would make a mistake… This is an airport hotel where I do assume some people would try to get ride of some foreign currency when going home… but that is just a side story which ended without any complains and a polite smile. The trouble started with the shuttle. It did not arrive in time and a simple question if the receptionist could check on the status turned ugly. The receptionist complained to the driver about the unpatient guest.

Very expensive and although it is a 4 star, they also charge the water they put in the room which is usually offered.

Very nice staff and good breakfast. We used it as an intermediate station before our departure. Our car stayed there for 14 days. The transfer to the airport and back was without any problems. Our children were the first to control the pole on arrival.

For one night okay. The room was standard, the bathroom was in need of renovation. The hotel bus from the airport takes about 15 minutes, it runs from 5 a. M. To 11 p. M. Wi-Fi is included. A grocery store is a 10 minute walk away. The staff were very friendly, the bar is well worth a visit.

Parking at the hotel is paid, breakfast costs 19 euros. The bathroom is shabby. Cold water in the pool.

I think it may be alright to stay here for 2-3 days, but don't expect much. Behind the curtains there were many spiders, I don't know if this happened to other rooms too… Other things were reasonable, but seeing those spiders the surely didn't strike a good feeling.

Hotel modern, clean. Very friendly staff. A shuttle bus runs from early in the morning until 11pm between hotel and Frankfurt airport. Car can park at the hotel for free. Simply ideal for a hassle free arrival before a flight.

This place is located in no man's land. Rooms are sorta clean. German hospitality.

All right. Nice reception. Parking very expensive for the location. Breakfast buffet is manageable if you compare this with other Mercure hotels. Otherwise very pleasant hotel.

The hotel is directly at the airport Frankfurt by taxi to reach quickly. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The rooms are normal and ideal for overnight stay.

There is free shuttle bus to airport. Room and all facilities are average. Including kindness. Parking charge is Eur15 per day and outside is dangerous to get penalty~

The shabby hotel, smell like in McDonald's, the rooms are cold.

Hotel's airport shuttle bus is advertised (on their website) to go every 25 minutes, after waiting for 30 mins at the airport we caught a taxi and learned from reception that their shuttle bus much of the time goes only every hour. Wifi internet is frustratingly slow. We paid 70€ for a day room. Disappointed.

Very kind staff, good value for money. I had a problem in my room and got another room that was fine. Breakfast very well served.

Other than a strange background sound, the room was fine. The breakfast was phenomenal.

This hotel needs updating terribly. Even the resteraunt carpet is full of cigarette burns. The room walls are dirty. I was so disappointed! Would never stay here again unless cleaned up. When I got off the elevator on the second floor it had nasty dirty walls and carpets. I thought we were in the laundry basement! The staff was wonderful and the food mediocre. The lobby is pretty as is the atrium.

A hotel for no more than one night.

This hotel is ideally suited for business use and has a conference room and is located next door to IBM. Kelsterbach is a small business focused area, so the closest eatery is about half a km away. The inhouse prices for food are steep but are in line with standard hotel prices. It's just problematic here because there are few local alternatives. There is a pool, gym and sauna but they are very small. Breakfast is available at $19€ and it's reasonable, with hot and continental options available. Coffee is fine but getting tea at breakfast is quite a challenge though. The hotel provides a free shuttle to and from Frankfurt airport which is particularly handy if you want to visit the city as the nearest railway station is 3km away and the local bus stops (half a km walk) provide only slow meandering options. We initially experienced problems with the shuttle and had to get a cab which cost 35€ (for 5 passengers and luggage). The shuttle bus was fine every other time. The rooms are comfortable but the televisions are locked to German-only channels and the input selection is disabled so that we can't access USB drives. Bathroom facilities are clean. The Wi-Fi in the hotel is flaky and doesn't reach all of the rooms. In our room for example, Wi-Fi worked only in the bathroom. The hotel provides a great room for people with low mobility on the ground floor. The expertise of the staff varies considerably and we found that the dining room staff were particularly untrained.

Ok hotel If you need a place to stay for the night. There is a free shuttle bus to/from Frankfurt airport. It leaves from arrivals terminal one, exit B between door 5 and 6. If you are leaving in early flights remember did tell the reception to add you on the list for the bus. Hotel has a pool and sauna. Ok standard but nothing more. The restaurant Zum Treffpunkt is nearby (4 minutes walk), and serves ok food.

A bit dated. Lobby and bar looks a bit sad. Rooms are clean, but rather old and tired. To be honest, the Ibis down the road is almost more comfortable. Service was always friendly though. Bed was comfortable. Low noise levels too. Free shuttle provided, but no timetable attached to my booking confirmation email or their website.

It was a great stay. It's not as modern and kinda old looking but hence that the bed was amazingly soft. And everything in the room was clean. The staff spoke several languages and the best thing was the free shuttle service to the Frankfurt international airport.

A lovely place to stay for a good night of sleep before jetting off.

4 Star Classic Hotel. Good restaurant, open until 11pm… Practice.

Overpriced parking (15€), dirty and stained carpets, plaster falling of the walls, quite dirty restaurant. I can surely say that this is a once in a lifetime experience, and not in a good way.
I almost forgot; there's also a quite funny smell everywhere you go in the hotel. I think the smell is quite similar to rotten eggs or drain.

I am not happy with front desk. Despite of paying full rent in advance, the hotel charged me 200 Euro more in advance for two days. My bills were around 46 Euro. Till now the hotel has not refunded the left over amount. The breakfast and the staff are good. There is problem with Service Desk / Front desk.

REALLY BAD EXPERIENCE Kind staff, but this is the only quality. Tacky, oldy, poor menu, poor beer menu (come on, we're in Germany, there is no excuse for a poor beer menu), the shower is bad, small and unconfortable, not so close to the airport as I expected, although the bed was "queen size" the bedding was for single, what makes no sense at all, the walls of the room are dusty. I felt as if I was in one of those crappy Orlando (FL) hotels. The price is half of Hilton, but if you consider what you'll spend with taxi and breakfast for two, the saving of money is not worth. Definetely the worst Mercure Hotel that I have ever been to. I would never come back and I will think twice before choosing for Mercure again, even Being a Le Club member.

No problems with access, shuttle runs to and from the airport. Room was nice and cleanclean, waitresses in the restaurant were nice. Overall was a satisfactory visitvisit.

Yamw! Remember visiting this Hotel sometime in 2002 or 2003, think it was called NovoTel Frankfurt back then, overlooking a sombre lake and a scary Black Forest… rooms were teeny weeny, but the bathtub alright… Loved that Salmon with the *****, loved the projections on the wall too and just a few hundred meters distance from my then workplace of the FedEx station (FRAA) lein? :) Kelsterbach.

Good location close to the airport, but the shuttle stops running after 11pm. Decent rooms for the price. Nice breakfast at the restaurant in the morning.

Upon arrival, booking misplaced to find personnel capable of booking. After busy in the hotel and on time again cancelled. After 18 h arrived back home without to stay and already that went off verschlampt booking from the account. On demand, it is simply claimed I would have stayed so.

We checked into this hotel the night before our early AM departure from the Frankfurt am Main airport. This place was dated and dirty. I am glad we did not pay the 320€ per night rate for a double room listed on the wall behind the front desk. I feel that at $60 per night I was cheated. First, you have to pay for parking just to get into the parking lot in front of the hotel. My initial thought was to check in and return the rental car that night, then take the shuttle to the airport in the morning. Since I had to pay to park long enough to unload the luggage and the airport shuttle wasn't free (the front desk clerk stated "the only free service we offer is my check-in service and the Wi-Fi") I decided to pay the 15€ to park overnight instead of 7€ per person for the shuttle. When we got to the room, the walls were dirty and stained, there was mildew in the bathroom. We found several hairs (probably public hairs) in the tub/shower, and a few longer hairs on the towels and bedding. There was a small amount of relatively fresh blood on one pillow and I had to take that to the front desk to be exchanged for a new pillow. The bathroom smelled like urine. Oh, and if you are traveling with children, DO NOT let them operate the TV remote. Two channels away from Kika (a popular children's channel in Germany) there was some VERY adult programming. The New Yorker restaurant downstairs offered expensive, but bland fair.

Quite soulless, and free airport bus is very infrequent (we gave up waiting and took a taxi after half an hour, though did book on it the next morning). Quite far from the airport entrance, though near the perimeter in an industrial estate. But does the job, fine for an overnight if you get a good deal.

Nice little hotel close to Lufthansa Systems. Wifi is slow (even the paid one), but the breakfast is amazing.

Good hotel for a couple of nights for travellers, but a bit expensive in my oppinion.

Mercure, Novotel and two similar brands of the same group, decoration styles are similar. Bathroom in the room was the same as the purchase. Room less Novotel family rooms with sofa bed. Fit breakfast team apart, but the waiter and diligent, and dining within about 10 varieties of species, and can even supply.

I liked the hotel, it is fairly clean and the breakfast is really good (even though it is 20 euros). It is just a little too far from the airport, the shuttle is too full going to the airport. They should wash their shower curtains more often, and their fast internet is not much better than regular internet (not worth buying).

In my opinion, a really good Hotel, only about 4 km from the airport. The Shuttle Bus (only 15 meters away) runs mind. 1x the hour, free pool and the best one can be car for up to 15 days free Parking at the Hotel. We will definitely again Stay in this Hotel.

Everything is great. Only the Parking is 15 € per night for an outside Parking space is too expensive.

Negative Erfahrtung This Hotel is only recommended if you from the Frakfurt flies, as the Hotel is in the vicinity of v. The airport is located. But there are also cheaper Alternatives in the Näge! The rooms are clean and large enough, a Flachschirmfernseher is also available. A 0, 7Ltr. Bottle of water from the Minibar costs 6, 50 euros! Unfortunately the Hotel for the room Rate not much. The Breakfast is average, plates and Tekannen were missing and had to be requested, the staff in the Breakfast room and at the reception not very friendly. The Hotel angepriesener Shuttle service to the airport entpuupt as a Service from a Hotel, but an external Service. To the Shuttle you have to leave the Hotel and approx 400 m run. If it is raining or snowing and you have heavy Luggage, this is not a pleasure! For Older and disabled people, this is even worse! In the vicinity of the hotel there are no Restaurants — private car or Taxi is announced — or the expensive hotel restaurant. Parking costs 10, 00 per night or for 14 days (for air travel) 130, 00 Euro.
