Beautifully located campsite. Right on the river, invites you to all sorts of activities. At the restaurant there is a playground for the smallest. The toilets are clean and OK. The shower cubicles are a bit small but very warm water and sufficient water pressure. Great. We were there with our family over Ascension. And at the end they were able to book a riding lesson with a pony for our little daughter. The riding lesson was carried out by the daughter of the house. She was very nice and patient with horse and child. Unfortunately, and this is the only negative thing, the head of the house — certainly not very polite due to the stress and rather annoyed — a bad thing, that has already damaged the overall impression.
The service in the restaurant was not very warm, but always nice.

First of all: The landscape is wonderful!
However, we were not warmly received as we otherwise know it. It would also have been super fond if you had known beforehand that there was absolutely no mobile phone network and no phone in the room (eg medical emergency). In the room were cobwebs in the corners, the towels already thinned and spotty.
The sofa for two adults actually does not call it a sofa, always for children a seating area.
Unfortunately, the touted petting zoo was not open. The breakfast was unfortunately very Mau. There was just cafe, juice or cold milk. Unfortunately, no tea. We have been to country inns many times with a little more choice.
Our room was okay, but it's really still expandable. We wouldn't come back.

Very nice location on the Werra far away from civilization. Directly on the Werra Valley bike path. Various offers such as horse-drawn carriage tour, archery, canoeing, etc. Accommodation partly arrived in the years and the bathroom was very small but quite clean. Staff is very friendly, they feel very comfortable. The breakfast was very good.

For horse enthusiasts and/or people with dog this is just great. The rooms are comfortable, But simply furnished, the food at the Inn is rather simple. But this is all offset by the lovingly run family. You will receive a warm welcome and always has a contact person and it is not like to find a solution, If something fits. What is most important to us was that our dog was here welcome and the courtyard of the beautiful nature, the forest and the river is in the midst of a miracle, so you to stick in any direction immediately dream dog can break walks. If you want to ride, find a model-run horse operation. The school horses and ponies are friendly and may spend your entire leisure time on the paddock, have a good fitting saddle and harness, are well maintained and lovingly cared for. Also the riding lessons has fallen to us. On the Small is made loving and you are always encouraged, adults receive competent, friendly instructions. For each there is a suitable horse for heavier riders-framed, heavy warm blood are available. For whom the environment and the ride, the warmth of The people and the peace and quiet is more important than luxurious accommodation and culinary revelations, is certainly happy! We like to come again.

A wonderful camping holiday for two horse-loving daughters (7+8), dog, and peace-seeking parents. Pure nature in an idyllic location, clean sanitary facilities and a lovingly managed family business. Very hospitable and uncomplicated. We felt so comfortable that we spent instead of the planned 3 days of the whole holiday there.

Super campsite! camp twice a year there for many years. Pentecost is the go, several large (and sometimes too loud) groups hell with many children, but very relaxed (so long before place book, otherwise there's no electricity). Sanitary facilities okay, brötchenservice very good, catering can be used once, if no buck up Grill consists, staff very nice, riding lessons for children whatever top (and quickly sold out). All in all very nice and recommended!
