Top restaurant with exceptional ambience, very friendly and competent staff, hotel rooms are modern and very tastefully furnished. The mill offers opportunities for successful celebrations for every occasion, both on a small and a large scale. Visiting the mill is a special experience!

We have rarely eaten so well and the rooms are also witty… There is nothing missing!

Warm, competent service from reservation request to departure. The Saturday special with overnight stay, breakfast and 5-course menu — just all around succeeded! The menu with wine accompaniment has exceeded our expectations!

Tolles Ambiente am Abend Dank der tollen Lage und den großen Wachskerzen auf jedem Tisch. Das 4 Gang Überraschungsmenü war sehr gut abgestimmt und lecker. Die Bedienungen waren professionell & freundlich, jedoch leider sehr überfordert, da scheinbar nur 2 ausgebildete Kräfte und 2 Azubis an diesem Abend eingeteilt waren. Das verlängerte natürlich die Wartezeit auf Essen und Getränke, bleibt aber hoffentlich die Ausnahme.

Das ganze Hotel ist sehr sauber und das Personal ist freundlich. Das Essen war sehr lecker und das Design des Hotels fand ich sehr ansprechend.

Our planning for the wedding in August 2018 began at the beginning of 2017: we were looking for a beautiful, extraordinary location, which should not be over-candidate, perhaps a little natural. By chance we came to the mill at Schlossberg (I still work as a DJ at weddings and was booked there). The Gräutergarten, the stage on the small lake, the great courtyard, the festive barn… everything was perfect and very imaginable for us. For the first meeting we already ate in the restaurant and were enthusiastic about the cuisine and the arts of Mr. Letsch (chef). After we had the location completely shown, our decision was clear. The hotel rooms are all individually furnished, maybe there is a bit of "updating needs" here, but each of the rooms exudes its own charm. Our bridal suite even had a hot tub, which we used with our little daughter… totally beautiful and after only 2 hours sleep so just before breakfast a crazy feeling. After some discussions with the management for events (Mrs. Maekelborger), the chef Mr. Letsch and the hotel's own sommelier (Mr. El Shambri), everything took its course. We have clearly communicated what we value (quality of food, presentation, cocktails, service, etc. ) and even the rehearsal dinner a few weeks before the wedding was incredibly beautiful. Requests for changes were implemented without any problems, vegetarians and various intolerances were taken into account.

Excellent cuisine and rustic to fine ambience in the setting. But the mosquito plague is unbearable thanks to several natural water biotopes. Action has mosquito lamps under 5€ the piece. Isn't that worth the guest's healed skin? So unfortunately only regular restaurant for the brave tailor — — so bad!

Very friendly, helpful staff, as had a class room under the roof with great bathroom. The breakfast is extensive and for me wide choice. Bread rolls unfortunately as so often baked goods, A great facility with small park, pond and some pets. We didn't use food in the restaurant but what we saw was not bad. We will book the hotel again if we are nearby in any case.

Very friendly staff, clean and creatively designed rooms. Very remote, but therefore very relaxing and quiet.

We were over Easter to Relax here, you can only describe as fantastic. It has nothing missing. On Easter Monday our children, grandchildren, and friends with us to the Easter brunch were. All were delighted by the food, Service and ambiance. The living Easter Bunny for the 3 kids is just perfect. We will be back. Thank You Very Much.

A very fine ambience with very good wines and at the same time top trained staff.
Food very tasty and the creativity from the in-house Herb garden is already a challenge for guest and host on the M great concept.

Beautiful love the old Barn looking Rooms.

We had booked the Silvesterarragement 2017. The cheapest room category proved to be a really manageable over 2Etagen room. The shower room of geschätzten1, 2 sqm was to say the least an imposition the program was so far OK. Stop for the 70 + generation.
The relation from the cheaper to the most expensive room rate is not OK.

This hospitable house is worth a detour!

A few days ago we were looking for a break with relaxation in the mill on Schlossberg. It was very worthwhile again: Excellent food, very friendly and professional service and an individual, very comfortable, spacious room. The rooms in the more than 300-year-old mill have been designed with artistic, architectural skills into an oasis of well-being. The stay can be started with a friendly greeting from the house in the room. In the restaurant – also this very appealing design – the evening begins with an amuse bouche with a cream of tomatoes. Delicious! The following courses feature best products, seasonal selected, expertly prepared, attractively crafted and well-finished in taste. The focus is on the product! One deliberately dispenses with frequently served, overloaded plates with unnecessary embellishments in steremakers. For this, quality and quantity can be found in the best way over the mood. Intense taste, full aromas, round and persistent, for example, in the soup of the crustacean with insert. To the main course a Bavette (a selected piece of beef that you have loved among gourmets in France for years), fried to the point with full aroma, which is ideally accompanied by the concentrated fund. Plus a Wirsing vegetable with bite and full aroma. A feat! The dessert variations – mint panna cotta, tender cream brulee and freshly prepared fruit salad are also well done.

The crime dinner was very nice and the food was very good.
But after that, the hotel was a disaster.
After dinner there was no possibility to enjoy a wine, 10 pm 30.
We had to get back up in the event room and during the dismantling we were given a glass. The staff seemed very annoyed.
But the morning turned out to be even worse. We were not allowed to have breakfast in the beautifully covered hotel, but we would be led across the courtyard into a meeting room, so there is no loveless and meagre buffet in hostels. It was also dirty and impersonal.

We had booked over maydays a romance weekend (the settlement over maydays was good) In the mill at Schlossberg … In advance of romance no track except one understands by romance spider dust and dirt in all corners and edges … Restaurant open until 14.30 watch clear 13.30 watch we were told there is nothing more restaurant has to … so much on the subject … the fruit plate in the room ridiculously just like the romantic déko … 3 hearts you had to look for with the lupe 4 stones and a teelicht … Breakfast underground real had to cross the courtyard into a meeting room that smelled so modrig that one's breakfast passed away … from run-in to old rolls so not even the coffee was good. We felt like man 2nd grade and absolutely not comfortable. All in all as described, it is never ever. Even the beds impossible, never again. Would like to report something positive, but unfortunately there is nothing!

Each time exquisite kitchen with attentive but not too formal service. My child was also served very nicely.

Really friendly staff and the themed rooms are cool. Tucked away with no road noise. Well worth the stay. Cold water did not work in shower so water got too hot so dinged one star but can highly recommend staying here.

My new bride and I had our after wedding reception at the Mühle and it was fantastic! The professionalism displayed by the staff was beyond reproach. The food was a menu that we helped put together and their chef expertly delivered. Everyone was very impressed with every aspect and you can bet that we will return!

Great out of the way place. 5 star cuisine! The food is amazing. Interesting rooms combing old with modern. If you can reserve the Chefs table — Do it. You will be wowed, plus a view into the kitchen. Great quiet place to spend a night or two.

Good food, sleep and relax… everything perfectly!

We were already often there. … Conferences, festivals, events (music / Kabarrett / industry) and privately. Very nice staff… even short-term requests with a Smile fulfilled. On the food, we look forward to it every time, it tastes delicious. What not everyone knows: In the beds are Schramm mattresses used are the currently best swimming areas. Then who lots of very beautiful rooms and open spaces — there is a huge herb garden, a stage with small Zuschauerarena, a spacious event hall, and a magnificent Open-Air courtyard, will be there as well like us.

We had the end of September the package "Relax" is selected. At the end we had to annoy us. The Service was, unfortunately, the claim does not meet. The greeting is very cool, and the included appetizer was not offered, the Fünfgänge menu was without consultation, published by the "Küchentafel" in an adjoining room. There we were then left sitting without anyone around us cared. On both menus there were no Menüfolgeliste. The food was certainly on a high level but not outstanding. The price for the package is inflated and I can't recommend. A written complaint with the GL remained unanswered. Probably it is here of the form on the day, depending on how it encounters.

We had a great lunch there a few weeks ago. The personnel and service were top of the line! We highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for good food and high quality service!

There have Recently been a large family reunion made and the mill is the only praise All the guests and I were delighted with the food, the Service and the ambience in the Festscheune. Even the logistical preparation with Ms. Letsch was extremely professionally and smoothly. Even the price has voted (buffet). Some guests stayed in the Hotel rooms, the also very appealing. A completely successful Celebration, thanks to the perfect organization of the mill on the Klosterberg. Thanks again on this way!

Was at a wedding, invited… Chaos pur… Such an outrageous staff, I have not yet seen. Drinks were poured without asking, full glasses were cleared away-if only for a moment on the dance floor was The waitresses were already annoying. You had the glasses to turn around so that the service staff did, that you don't want to drink. Order how to in any other Locally was not — — because they were always and everywhere to the point Half-full bottles were against full exchanged. It was there that I became aware that the employee turnover drilled. Such a Behaviour of the service staff is to me never happened. The rice was really mushy… tomato soup … had already better eaten. Demand later at the bride and groom what the menu cost… knocked me… 45, — — € per Person… was not even half value. I'm sure there is not more out… dealing with guests, it was just embarrassing.

The employees are, since there is a Wartenberger Mühle are being exploited (that is why the bad rating). The food is high Standard, nothing out of the ordinary. The staff is so like it in this price range to expect, the one or the other seems a bit arrogant. The Parking lots in the vicinity are atrocious. I advise them.
