I have read so many bad reviews, but I as a solo traveller this is one of the best hotels comparing it from the main cities. Too bad they forgot towels in our rooms. But it doesn't matter, the bed was good and 5 stars For their home made pizza! The staff are great! And special mention to the lady with glasses she was really accomodating. Travellers should understand the community before rating it and giving bad reviews. As for me I loved the hotel and the community! Will be definitely coming back but I need to learn German first.

The store is very much more than it promises at first glance.
The Polish food is freshly cooked, delicious and plentiful. The bartender is funny and friendly. We were there to three and like to come back.

We ate very well here in third, opted for Polish dishes because the cooks can cook Polish. Bigos, pierogi, slickful friction cake with goulash, all very tasty and recommended. Very nice operation; We wouldn't have thought all of it when we had entered the restaurant, as it doesn't look so inviting at first glance. After this positive experience is fully recommended!

Quiet little town en route to the castle.

Are super been housed. Clean rooms, good beds, delicious food and good wine! We will come back.

When planning my trip to see Burg Elz castle, my requirements were to stay in the town of Moselkern close to the castle but also be close to the train station to allow visiting Koblenz.
Zur Burg Elz did not dissapoint and met these requirements perfectly.
The owners were friendly, the rooms quirky and clean.
And the advantage of staying in Moselkern is you can walk back from Burg Elz (about a 45 minute hike) and just relax with a meal.
We ate here both nights, the food is very good and breakfast both mornings freshly prepared for you by Natalie, who looks after you very well.
And the train station is close by so you can explore the wider area really easily.
Highly recommended.

Easy place to stay and really nice help there as well, considering we speak almost NO German! Interesting to me that in Germany, my experience is that there are no sheets, just a sort of comforter as a cover. Different than in the US, that's for sure.

Small and very easy place right on the street. The sanitary facilities shortly no longer are clean, but old, partially damaged, according to the current standard. Good starting point for the hikes to the Castle.

Visited Germany from Virginia, from the first moment we entered the restaurant we felt as if we were being welcomed home by Natalie, one of the owners. We unknowingly also found a room available (gasthaus) above the restaurant/bar. Excellent dinner and breakfast along with a town that is beautiful and quaint. Only about an hour walk to the Burg Eltz castle.
