Went here as a sleep over during a bike ride in the Eifel region. Nice and comfy beds, spacious room and great breakfast. Very hospitable staff and good prices. Beautiful views.

We arrived with 7 people on Sunday at 5 pm here, had two apartments reserved, which were also really good. Spacious and clean, great view from the panoramic balcony. But first and foremost of our rooms we ordered a cool drink on the terrace, at least 21 km from Blankenheim back. In addition, we learned that the kitchen closes on Sundays at 6pm. There would be no other locality in the village. Besides, that was probably in our booking confirmation. That's what we read. So early supper at 17:45:00.2 young ladies used us without even a friendly word, for every detail they had to ask the boss. Every empty plate was immediately cleared, although others were still eating. My son had the last Schitzelrest still on the fork, the plate was already pulled out. When we asked if we could get another glass of wine, the information (after asking the boss) was "You can drink it in the room". Mind you, we sat outside on the terrace. We were obviously going to get rid of it. In addition to our invoice of 170, — € for the food, you could have earned more: 9 more people in total have asked for dinner in the hour we sat there. We would not book here again, although food and room were good, the service unfortunately does not fit.

We recently spent a night in the hotel. The rooms were nicely decorated, quiet, clean and not too long ago renovated. The only downside was the separate beds, which could not be pushed together by the frame either. The breakfast in the morning was good, the cozy atmosphere made the grey weather more than balanced. The price is also higher compared to other inns in the area.

After a 7km hike via the Ahrsteig at all Saints weather, we (4 people with dog) arrived in Aremberg. There was a table where a group also sat with dog at the coffee on the terrace of the Buschenschenke. Other banks were also there, but ohneTische. On the front door to the dining room, we saw a sticker "Dogs prohibited". This is now not as common, but we have no problem, we thought! My husband entered the guest room — of course without a dog! — and kindly enquired whether we perhaps out there can get coffee and cake on the banks, like we had worked out also the dishes. This was denied and on demand, why would sit there already a group with the response: "That's an exception! " commented. We should link somewhere out there but our dog and then there come, everything else would not be. Now, this is not acceptable for us and our 7 km-long way back we were hungry and thirsty. We have full understanding that a guest host for whatever reason whatsoever no dogs accepted in his restaurant. Why but we were allowed to take a coffee on the terrace, although there already people were sitting, opens me absolutely. We are not looking for this place and can not recommend with the best will it!

Super horny accommodation. Very friendly staff. Got a kettle so that I can make me a morning cup of coffee. Were asked whether we want to have breakfast at 8, or 7:30. Now we go for us extra at 7:15. Not to mention the food. Simply gorgeous delicious. Especially the Tarte Flambée. If we go again in the Eifel's goes probably back here. €89 / night for 2 room apartment incl. Breakfast. Can't be beat. Would like to have a few days stayed longer, but the nearest station is unfortunately no longer be cancelled.

We wanted to enjoy only a glass wine in the Guest House to the Buschenschenke at Eifel weather on the sun terrace. But this did not allow the Barbar. Unfriendly, he grumbled, it would be not possible to drink a glass on the terrace. I offered him, we would take the drinks even with out and already pay. He said that would not be possible. "" On demand he repeated several times in Barbar style: "I'm not debating that" like he would have thrown us probably in the Dungeon, but there's not. He offered us in the stuffy cabin to put, which smelled like old food. We sat there at a table not cleaned, because the waitress came and wiped with the hand across the table to clean him. My wife was just before dying of thirst and wanted to drink water, the appetite was passed me. I then ask the waitress whether your boss had one on the "Waffle", what you answer out loud, would they be loyal and went back to head, who then refused the ordered water to my wife and the House referred us. Really bad for a such a great Outlook, we have always enjoyed until then.

My colleagues and I stayed here whilst visiting friends. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the rooms were immaculate. The food was extremely good quality and great value for money, we took advantage of going to the local Oktoberfest and the Hotel was convenient. We shared twin rooms over two days and it cost 110 Euros, again great value for money. I am going to return in December with my partner and the children for the Christmas markets. Thanks for a great stay highly recommend this Hotel.
