Was today invited to a wedding at Castle Mountains. It was fantastically beautiful. The locations were great. There was delicious (buffet) food and a great band.
Gisela (banquet) a huge praise to you. You were next to the newlyweds the coronation in the evening.
So loving, so polite, so respectful, so attentive. Everything was right. We all loved you. Such a great service. Can some learn something from you (not related to Schloss Berge employees, but in general).

Super schöner Außenbereich, eignet sich sehr gut zu spazieren, auch mit Hund. Direkt am See gelegen, mit der Möglichkeit Tret — oder Ruderboot zu fahren. Bei passendem Wetter immer wieder gerne.

Very nice location the staff is friendly and helpful. The food tastes heavenly! The chef and his team seduce the guests with their masterful performance! There is nothing wrong with it except that in the rooms as well as in rooms was very sultry. By today's standards, air conditioning is simply part of it. I had over 30 degrees in my room despite open windows.

Very idyllically located castle with restaurant and café. On beautiful days you can sit beautifully under old trees and enjoy the ambience in peace with food and drink. The restaurant is also very attractively furnished inside. Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired and didn't fit the rest of the house — it took us forever to get a card and they didn't really know their offers. The dishes were very appealing and deliciously prepared, the prices were peppered with stately. Very well maintained sanitary facilities.

The Beer Garden is great. You have Peace of mind can drink Good coffee and also eat Cake. There are Also cold Drinks and what Is needed to eat. All at normal Prices.

Great hotel. Lovely friendly staff. Food in the restaurant was superb for dinner. Grounds are beautiful — just had a lovely long breakfast on the terrace watching the ducks, geese and rabbits wander the lawns.

Despite the upscale ambience acceptable in prices. The service is simply unbeatable. This is where you feel particularly comfortable. The food is delicious and plentiful. Highly recommended.

We had mountains on Friday, the 20.04.18 our wedding ceremony in the castle. Already in the preparations to us Geppert Mr and his Team, excellently supported. We felt in good hands and were allowed to ask any question — with a professional and target-oriented answer. On the day before the wedding, the so-called green room was already for us, we were able to prepare without problems as long as we wanted our decor. We were supplied with drinks and advice. The day of the wedding was perfect, the waiters are excellent, reliable, friendly, highly professional. Everything happens, after consultation with the Bridal couple — it was perfect. During the champagne reception in the terrace area, all were happy, it was great arranged and prepared everything. Nobody was without a drink in the waitress over and all wishes were fulfilled. Great relief of the bride and groom! In spite of many hours up in the night and a hot +30 degrees (in April), there was not a bad face us in a good mood. The food and drinks are not to be objected to, it was all prepared with love and prepared. There was no one who had to suspend the food slightly. The starters, main courses and desserts were awesome. All praised the food, the drinks and the Service. Above all, the cake has it All done to taste and craft something very special. The Bed in the Suite was a dream. With a shower, a bath, living room and bedroom larger than many an apartment, and also modern and tastefully decorated.

My favorite park in Gelsenkirchen, you can actually get lost in its wide forest and come to rest at the castle or one of the many outdoor dining facilities for a quick refreshment. Also there are boats available to rent for a cruise on the lake.

My wife and I were there with our little one.
Mega beautiful and damn big. I also like the choice of playgrounds.
The only shortcoming:
The stalls at Schloss Berge with beer garden refer the customers of the squares so that you can spend 10 minutes more at work. Otherwise everything is great and very nice. Can you spend the whole day with the family.

Lovely Castle and park nearby. There is a lake with a fountain, a couple of cafes with beer, coffee, tea and sweets.

Very nice facility. Maintained. Staff very friendly. Outdoor facilities very nice to look at. Highly satisfied.

Beautiful lots of nature good trails through the forest and around the lake for the children wonderful playground. Parking for the cars more than enough it's all great and very clean.

With the sun rising the desire for a Pilsken in the green… where can you enjoy it better in Gelsenkirchen than in the beer Garden of the Castle Mountains?
Chill the lake in the shade of the old trees and let the soul dangle… Parking is available in the immediate vicinity, and the parks also invite you to take a walk.

Have been there to eat many times. Staff overly friendly, almost exaggerated. Food got worse over time, despite very high prices. But beautiful ambience.

We were in the restaurant on October 4, 2018 as part of the menu carousel. The table is covered on the finest, the service very attentive and the food perfectly prepared and tasty. The wine recommendations also matched the individual courses very well. We will definitely be back!

Next to the restaurant there is also a small hotel with 11 rooms, these are modern furnishings, tidy and clean with small TV. The breakfast is very good. The entrance area with reception and passage to the restaurant worked full and untidy. Perhaps an exception but little inviting.

At last you can eat very nice there again. Also the outdoor terrace is very nice. I am unfortunately far too rare in my hometown.

After a long search and study of the menus of famous restaurants in Gelsenkirchen we found only a good selection in the castle Mountains.
The game map is excellent, the wine list offers the really suitable wines, which is very important in WILD.
In Short: the food, the wine and the dessert were first class, and the service very attentive and Unobtrusive.
Best of All: The conservatory is shielded, no cell phone rings and nobody can make calls!
All Together: First class.

Magnificent Park with a castle-hotel in the heart of gelsenkirchen… getting married here is terrific… especially when the summer festival takes place on Castle mountains…

The staff were very friendly and helpful. However… really Expensive. Only had a piece of cream pie… was quite good but not outstanding.

Family celebration for Golden wedding I was invited here. Huge complex with lots of green and really beautiful it is there. If it is not so far away, I would also here my wedding day. Fully it was tasty, too!

The restoration is for me in any price-performance ratio. The dishes are below average to bad! The Bedienng is nice and tries but for me, the restaurant is not recommended!

With my friend, I was time for a Candle-Light Dinner in the castle mountains. That was a dream. The castle and the castle grounds very nice. But then even if such a pampering time. I didn't want to leave anymore.
