ibis budget Düsseldorf Airport Hotel

Good and cheap, personal was very friendly.

The Hotel is very confortable. But the only thing close is the airport, which is 13km away.

Accurate, clean and convenient. Worth the price you pay for it. Bucolic views to the countryside from the window. Something you would not expect from a hotel at the airport. Pity that there is no restaurant in the hotel. Still, the shopping mall at the village is at 20 min. Walking distance and there are some budget restaurants and a nice pizzeria for a decent dinner.

The bed linen was not changed either … Even for €55, something like this simply cannot be in Germany!

Nice to stay there only when you have your own car, becouse you can attend this place only with a single bus and this is not so comfortable, in special when the weather is not good and nice (it was winter when I was there and it was also snowing). About other aspects it was everything okay. You have free internet access also a little restaurant and the rooms are comfortable.

Not a good place for a stay, it is in a remote place. Taxi cost you 40 euro to airport. No elevator, no resturant near by, better to take in the city. Toilet is quite cold, shower should have been bigger.

The room I started in was clean and had an Ikea feel. The bathroom was in my room. No free airport shuttle. They have a self check in if you arrive after the front desk closes. The attendant who checked me in spoke English and called a cab for a early morning pick up.

Simple but well cared for spotlessly clean and fine breakfast. Very friendly staff.

First off, this is definitely not an airport hotel, our 40 euro cab ride is proof of that. Secondly, it says there is an airport shuttle, what they don't say is that you have to pay for that shuttle AND make a reservation for it. Also, if you have an early 7:30am flight like mine, the shuttle doesn't even come early enough to accommodate that! Again, this is very much NOT an airport hotel. They should not advertise themselves as such. At least warn people of this before they blindly book your 'airport' hotel. Very disappointed with customer service aswell, after complaining about the false advertisement of the shuttle they did nothing to try and make it right. The room was fine, small but I was expecting that for the price.

Ok a few things… First of all this hotel needs to upgrade their carpet. Cheesy gray pet carpet. The beds were comfortable and the staff was friendly. But the location is a bit far from the city center. I had to catch a bus… then two different trams just to get to a concert. Took a cab back because to bus stopped running at 11 and that was 25 dollars. My advice to you is the get a hotel downtown.

I had booked for my wife and granddaughter, this IBIS Hotel, as 1. We have stayed there once before (for 1 night) 2. The price is good. Difficulties there were for the first Time with the Wake-up call, I would not have been my cell phone alarm clock, our flight would be put off. The same has now repeated, in intensified degree, Wake-up service was not possible, the requested Shuttle Bus didn't appear. The foresight of my wife had been the night before, a taxi number, … otherwise this flight would have been gone. The you have to pay for the Shuttle Bus itself, 25€ per journey is yet to come, so 50 € and back. Not to recommend anything in particular, because if you can pull the cheap hotel price and the Shuttle Bus fees to book the Sheraton directly at the airport a room. For us, the IBIS is no longer in question and we would not recommend it. Rainer Erbel.

Good hotel for one night. Fast internet, good bed. The shower is perhaps a bit small, but as I said, good for one night.

Nice staff clean price performance.

Tür hatte unangenehm pfeifenden Zug. Das Frühstück war dem Preis mehr als angemessen und überraschend vielfältig. Ansonsten war die Nacht ruhig und das Zimmer weitesgehend sauber.
