The room was extremely large for me alone, the bathroom awesome large.

The food in the restaurant was sumptuous and well seasoned for the price. Unfortunately, I was a little late for dessert, but I got 2 small ice creams. A very nice gesture.

Unfortunately, there was one point that still needs to be worked up: the bedding was made of down, which is no longer a standard today and was difficult for me as an allergy sufferer.
It took the concierge three quarters of an hour to change the bedding!
The blanket was too small, and in the end I had to get it myself! That was the big banger, and should be discussed urgently!

The breakfast was good, but in my opinion too expensive for what was offered.

All in all, a nice hotel, but with little things that definitely do not invite you to come back!

Guaranteed booking of the hotel via HRS, but on arrival construction site and closed. Upon telephone request, it was announced that we had been rebooked to Brühl. There was no prior information on this, let alone a question as to whether we wanted it at all. Complaints to CEO Alexander Fitz remain unanswered.

We are every year feature here for the weekend… we don't want to miss it… super nice, courteous, clean, good breakfast.

Am for the 4th time here always for the hiking day of the Alt Hürther wandering companions. Clean large rooms. Cute small cozy sauna and very extensive evening — and breakfast buffet. ABSOLUTELY recommended.

This is by far the worst hotel I have ever visited! The Hotel smells of old parfume, that are obviously sprayed out to mask the horrible stench of tobacco smoke, that apperantly is a common thing inside the hotel, and the rooms as well (the rooms stink, and youll find used ash trays on the tables). At 6:15 am loud (very loud) tapping noises begins, from staff working with heavy carts etc. In the hall ways. … My business trip to Cologne is ruined, and I am going to sue the hotel for compensation, as this experience is totally unacceptable. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, unless you are a deaf and have a heavilly sense of smelling.

Fab hotel, beds and pillows 5* comfort, breakfast first class, very clean and tidy, wanted to stay longer.

Nice hotel with really good breakfast selection. Staff were friendly and helpful. I appreciated the fitness room but it could do with guest controlled aircon as it was a bit warm when I visited it. Downside was the free Wi-Fi which was very poor at times, and made working from the hotel difficult.

Good value for money if you need to be in Cologne or Phantasialand. Has a private parking, which is convenient. Pretty good breakfast buffet included, reliable Wi-Fi.

I was only there as part of a training course for day seminars, but the impression was very good. Parking and underground parking are available and offer ample space. The seminar rooms are spacious, bright and well equipped. Only the chairs are suitable for 8 hours sitting conditionally. The staff are friendly throughout and the food is also good. Nevertheless, it would be really great if care were taken to ensure that in the disabled parking lot only the authorized vehicles would actually park and not ladies in high-heels who are too comfortable to walk. But I am looking forward to the next seminars and would certainly use this hotel as an overnight guest.

Hotel is in excellent green surroundings. Two lifts are there to access the upper floors. The lifts were extremely slow. After one full minute, we arrived on the first floor! There were many trapdoors on the way to the rooms. These doors were enormously spring loaded. To hold the baggage in one hand and push open the door was an absolute ordeal. Rooms were spacious & clean. An excellent view of the surrounding was visible from the window. Room did include contemporary facilities like a fridge with mini bar & locker. What's more, the TV had some English news channels. Amazingly, the hotel provided a complimentary drinking water bottle. Everywhere else, the practice was to drink the plain tap water. Breakfast was continental. However, one fruit in the breakfast was extremely bitter. That dampened the mood.

Easy location, very good breakfast. Accessibility in late hours is also a plus point. You can charge and leave your mobile phone at the reception in secured boxes for free. Beds could have been more comfortable though.

Good location with free parking. Overal experience not in line with the expectations that come with a 4-star hotel. At least not for the few guests on the fourth floor. Expect a hot room, despite AC, and do not count on the night staff noticing your breakfast served in room request. Make sure you arrive at the breakfast 30 minutes before closing. Else you risk not having any bread.

Can’t speak highly enough for this hotel. Room seems newly renovated right down to the amazing hairdryer! Shampoo and shower gels provided. Breakfast is huge! From eggs and bacon right down to vegetarian options (me) cereals, fruit, yogurts, bread. All types of coffees and fruit juices. You won’t go hungry. Very polite and friendly staff. Close to a mall and very clean and pretty surrounding area. Take a walk, many restaurants in the vicinity.

April 2018: Top House in close proximity to Cologne we have been here three times this year and five nights this time. Here you can feel at ease and everything you need is available. A nice bar, a restaurant with outdoor area, a good breakfast, a sauna, steam bath, fitness area and ample free parking. This is an excellent value for money. For us a special highlight is the very friendly staff and it speaks for the leadership of this House, which we have known almost all employees for years. The ideal hotel to get to know Cologne. A bus station with direct connection to Cologne is within walking distance, as well as a huge shopping centre (Hürth Park) with cinema. Therefore not only by car a clear recommendation. For us also ideal that we can walk in the immediate vicinity of the lake with the dog. In this respect, we would always prefer this hotel in the middle of the city – not only because of the stress-free parking, but also because of the more beautiful surroundings. Cologne and the Rhineland are always worth a visit and those who have more time should definitely plan a wellness day in the beautiful Claudius Therme — by car in less than 20 minutes. We have also found some good restaurants in Hürth and a super ice cream parlor.

Great hotel in the border area of Cologne. Quick and easy to reach by car — free and ample parking spaces. Very good breakfast and clean modern rooms. Recommended for city visitors and business travellers.

4 * But not suitable for business travellers: for a multi-day seminar held at this hotel, I booked a three-day stay three weeks before arrival.
Pros: + Free Parking + for a 4 * hotel was the price of 90, — € (BB) relatively moderate + mostly nice staff + for the seminar participants, two coffee machines for cappuccino, espresso etc. Were in the conference breaks. As well as fruit and tasty snacks ready + varied selection of cold drinks in the meeting rooms + the lunch was delicious, and the (somewhat frugal selection of) vegetable garnishes was crisp and not cooked.
Cons: — There are (not designated) smoking rooms in the hotel. If there are many bookings, non-smoking guests will be accommodated in smoking rooms without asking or making them aware of it. When, in ignorance of this fact, I wanted to point out to the front desk that it would smell smoke in my hallway, I was told that this would be the smoking room area. And since you were booked out, I was not asked if I wanted a smoking or non-smoking room. That's pretty cheeky of the little gentleman at the front desk.
— The only Internet access is via the free telecom hotspot. However, this was so overloaded that not even the retrieval of emails was possible. Payment access with priority, fast Internet connection was not even available for a fee. At the reception the (same little) gentleman said that Telekom had already been informed.

Ideal location to reach Cologne CIN only ten minutes by car. Good value for money.

Soy milk and margarine without whey — apparently you have arrived here already in the 21st century the service is very friendly and attentive so you feel welcome.
Unfortunately my room is to the street and quite noisy; Otherwise there would be 5 stars.

Good hotel with good connection, very central in Hürth. Room clean and modern. Reception friendly and competent.
Recommended for every businessman who needs a hotel only to stay overnight.
Plenty of parking spaces are available right outside the door. There is a shopping centre and a large cinema in the immediate vicinity.

Here I spent 10 nights during business trip. Hotel is completely OK, but I am afraid it is not enough for 4 stars. Little bit uncomfortable are people spending their time in the bus station between hotel and Hurt Park late evening and they are very loud.

Nicely furnished and with a quality restaurant. Staff were friendly and helpful. Really need to sort the heating out though, it was unbearably warm in the room.

WLAN absolute disaster. Cover is horrible. The hotspots are from the telecom, bandwidth rubbish and absolutely unstable. When you load apps like Google Maps, smartphones are partially disconnected from the network. Total mess. Business people are completely screwed here.
The rooms are clean and cosy, the staff are friendly, the beds are comfortable and the check-in times are flexible. Check out is possible until 12.
However, one wonders what half of the switches are in the room, as these seem to be without function. With the door card there were also problems although I wore this extra separately in my chest pocket.
The hotel bar is very comfortable and the prices are not overpriced.

For me definitely not a four star hotel. Rooms were not ready on arrival. When asked when they were ready, we got the answer that you wouldn't know we should go to the mall for so long. Room service good… Cleanliness is nothing to complain about. There are multiple problems with the key card so that you do not come to s room. The food in the restaurant was poor and at gourmet prices. I suspect that nothing is freshly cooked here… craft frozen pizza and scrambled eggs from the Tetrapack. Even simple noodles taste/are greasy, sticky and slimy.

We were there for the first time when it was still a ramada. Since then the hotel has lost very much. You notice the rigour everywhere. The quality has suffered greatly. Cleanliness insufficient, cheap staff, breakfast quality every time more limited (about 2Besuche a year). In the future, we will also include other houses in our reflections on every trip to Cologne.

Very clean, quite classy. Close to a shopping centre and 15 mins from the centre of Cologne. A sauna is available.

It was a lovely hotel with friendly staff. The food was was not so good. Wasn't much of a choice but I think that because with National holidays. You get what you pay for.

For a hotel of 4 stars it is terrible. Dirty and bed clothes, broken mirror, broken lamp. This all makes me a bit nervous. I had never had such experience before. The guy on reception was changing the bed clothes by himself. They don't have even enough personal. Positive is a breakfast, and included sauna and. And a price. Fitness is just a joke… I will never stay there by myself but this is mostly bad luck than the whole hotel problem.

Nice hotel. Extensive breakfast, you can even eat vegan. Free sauna in the basement. Nice staff, clean rooms. Only the WLAN is a bit weak.

The facilities of the hotel are fantastic, but the attention leaves enough to be desired. My room was for 2 adults and 2 children and LSS cams were not prepared. When we went down to complain they told us we hadn't warned them. You see that paying is not enough notice.
At breakfast every day there was water, both with gas and without gas. As the second day we had many Spaniards and all drink water without gas and removed and only left the gas that is the drink them. If you wanted natural water you could ask for payment.

The hotel is clean and well organized. Reception staff very helpful. The hotel bar is cosy and the staff friendly. Very good breakfast with courteous staff. Free Wi-Fi, computer with printer also free.

Good food and always friendly staff beautify the stay. Everything is clean and tidy, the only criticism is the poorly resolved Duschenproblematik. It means that large parts of the bath get wet when you shower.

Stayed one night in way back from Austria trip. Nice modern clean rooms everything you need but we had 6am breakfast booked so we could get away early but the kitchen staff slept in and it was not ready so bit of a panic.

Hotel is highly recommended if you don't want to stay in Cologne directly.

He lived in this hotel for 5 days. I was pleased, however, living on the last — the fourth floor, almost no Wi-Fi signal, which is very upsetting because he was on a business trip.

Stayed at the H-Hotel Kreuzzstr Hürth (formerly the Ramada Hotel) for 7 nights in total. The breakfast is the best thing — huge amount of choice, and availability of breakfast for 4 hours (6:30 until 10:30). It was very clean; the teams cleaning are efficient and friendly. The showers are lovely: hot and spacious. Staff are friendly. But the bed was too soft, and the pillows are too German and sink into nothing when you lie on them. So the night's sleep was not as comfortable as we would have liked! We paid around E90 to E100 a night incl breakfast — price varies on different weekdays.

Room was lovely, staff could have been better, but we speak no german so should factor that in.

Rooms are ok and nice. Employees are very friendly. But the day we came, there was a very large group who took the complete restaurant and there was no place to sit to have breakfast. Hotels never learn that the have to split group up into different shifts.

The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean. The breakfast was superb and plentiful and it was easy to get to centre of Cologne. However there was a real issue in that the air conditioning was not working. We were transferred to another room but only one unit worked there and not in the bedroom so it was unbearably hot on a very humid night resulting in very little sleep — not ideal with an important meeting the next day. A shame because other than this deal breaking problem it was a nice and welcoming hotel.

Pros: Rooms were clean & comfortable, staff were friendly and helpful, Breakfast was also good. Cons: Internet connection was terrible! I know it was free, but I`d prefer to pay for a good internet rather than having a useless or annoying service for free. It was frustrating at most times. Plus some of the equipment at the Sauna facilities were out of service, and I heard they had been out of service for a long time!

What was impossible, is the inappropriately long wait on the food in the evening as a restaurant guest. We had to wait proposed 70 minutes spaghetti and a hamburger 2Portionen although we only three other tables were occupied.
The spaghetti which were hard on the edge, then, were the height. We have will then be the Cook explained to us that he always to boil the spaghetti. THAT there is not even a bad cafeteria there is also no cooking!
For a 4star Hotel claim impossible.
This is also the main reason why we are no longer booked this hotel.

We were mid-May there and were a small room, but all full of happy, friendly and helpful staff, although clean and tidy. Also at the breakfast buffet, it was — except on the behaviour of some hotel guests who fully cut the plates themselves and then just Herum sipping and all leave — probably spoiled monkeys.

Super Lage direkt am Einkaufszentrum super service essen perfekt sehr empfehlenswert.
