April 2018: Top House in close proximity to Cologne we have been here three times this year and five nights this time. Here you can feel at ease and everything you need is available. A nice bar, a restaurant with outdoor area, a good breakfast, a sauna, steam bath, fitness area and ample free parking. This is an excellent value for money. For us a special highlight is the very friendly staff and it speaks for the leadership of this House, which we have known almost all employees for years. The ideal hotel to get to know Cologne. A bus station with direct connection to Cologne is within walking distance, as well as a huge shopping centre (Hürth Park) with cinema. Therefore not only by car a clear recommendation. For us also ideal that we can walk in the immediate vicinity of the lake with the dog. In this respect, we would always prefer this hotel in the middle of the city – not only because of the stress-free parking, but also because of the more beautiful surroundings. Cologne and the Rhineland are always worth a visit and those who have more time should definitely plan a wellness day in the beautiful Claudius Therme — by car in less than 20 minutes. We have also found some good restaurants in Hürth and a super ice cream parlor. A tasty Kölsch then still in the hotel bar with Sky Sports for sports — or football enthusiasts or if the weather allows even outside on the restaurant terrace — so you can also finish the evening well. December 2017: The second home in the Rhineland our fourth stay over 8 nights in this House, was almost a bit like coming home for us. This time we were here over the Christmas days until New Year's Eve and visited our family from here. So we could start the day hassle free with a good breakfast and were greeted here almost like old friends by the very friendly staff. The children of other guests got a teddy or a ü-egg as a little Christmas attention and at all, the very friendly staff, both at breakfast, at the bar and at the reception is one of the main reasons for our frequent return to this House with great Parking facilities near the city of Cologne. We also like, of course, that you are appreciated and perceived here as a regular. So we were able to loose the pain that our four-legged dog was forgotten this time and there were neither bowls nor a treat. A special highlight was also the fact that we have now discovered a super Vietnamese restaurant in a walking area (Mr. Son). In the hotel restaurant we ate well in the evening and here we recommend the very good H-Burger. It was also great to be able to enjoy a freshly tapped bagging Kölsch at the hotel bar at a later hour. We are looking forward to our early stays in February and April.
