Don't remember eating so badly. Very bad steak. Potato gratin somewhere between lukewarm and cold. Size of portions more suitable for children. At most snack quality. Price-performance Note 6. Complaints were ignored.

The dinner we had was subpar and the chef had wasted his time putting decorative flowers on the plates and drawing fancy lines instead of concentrating on the (taste of) the food. My baked potatoes were soggy and dripping in oil, and the schnitzel was dry and tasteless. No food on the side except for a small tomatoe. For German standards it was a very small portion. The kitchen staff does not seem to know what they're doing and shouldn't be working in a kitchen. The waitress was nice and friendly though.

We were eating 4 people in the Paulushof.
Relatively high prices for food, at best only average
Quality. The most annoying, however, were the mini portions.
I had two pieces of turkey meat, as big as the ring you can
thumb and index finger. In addition, a small portion of fries, so
many as you can hold in a hollow hand.
It was just a child's portion and that for € 15, 9o. My grandson (6 years)
would have asked for more.
The food of the other 3 people was similarly unsatisfactory.

The furnishing of the restaurant has already been in the years and should be modernized. The food is good quality and delicious. The prices are based on the upper limit and in my view are set too high. Friendly service.

Nice quiet location, great clean rooms in the style of 80iger, friendly staff.
Breakfast good and plentiful, restaurant unfortunately only until 21:00 evening dinner at 22:00 is locked.
Food plentiful and nicely done but only better food quality.
Price I find for the house way too high. For almost €100 the night for 2 people I expect more.

The rating is only about the restaurant.
I have the great fortune 5-6 times a year to stay briefly at the Lake Rursee. I almost always land in the hotel Paulushof, because during the week and especially in the dark season there are hardly any alternatives in Rurberg directly.
We are not talking about weekends or other times where there is a high-powered operation, but always during the week.
The location of the hotel directly on the lake is very nice. There are plenty of parking spaces. The ambiance corresponds to the zeitgeist of the 1980s, but is well maintained. The Internet presence is likely to be updated, there is no online card and via iOS I can select the menu item restaurant, but nothing happens.
One thing, the quality of the food is fine. No matter if starter, main course or dessert. The value for money is at the upper limit. Especially for the soup of the day or a self-made side salad from the It might be like a euro less sometimes. In dessert as well.
The staff regarding my experience unfortunately are less good. In most cases the restaurant is barely occupied if I stop there during the week. Perhaps the crux is also here. Because often in life it is the case that you run to maximum performance when you are properly challenged.
Because you don't get a seat, you sit there where you're free. But you are also looked at in a questionable way, perhaps, because I am alone? And so I am not allowed to sit on the window?

In the charm of the Seventies directly at the Eifel National Park. Despite a little Renovieringsstau, as is quite common for Eifel hotels, everything looks clean and tidy. However, WLAN should be set up quickly! The staff is friendly and the hotel restaurant offers local good food. The particularly Maria offers enough to start the day well.

A very charming staff assures you a quality service dedicated to an unpretentious but copiously tasty cuisine. We liked the wines as much as the prices and the view of the lake. Very good place!

The experience was somewhat mixed. My wife had hot goat cheese as a starter. As a main course she had venison goulash. She was thrilled. I was not satisfied with my herbal soup. She was watery. The meat of the main court was dry. The salad inspired only raw food fans. The service was average.

The personnel is OK, but to get a small lunch it took 1 hour and a half. And the place was not really filled with people. So, keep it in mind if you want to have a fast meal, look for somewhere else.
