The Mercure Belfortstrasse hotel is located 15 minutes walk from the city centre, in a very quiet area. Room very clean, very good condition. Coffee/tea maker, minibar, bathrobe and slippers. The swimming pool — located in the basement — is large, the water temperature pleasant. Friendly staff Breakfast is OK.

Large open windows clears MCS problems left by Americanised guest. Room was clean though not perfectly. They graciously held our luggage in the evening.

We were today as conference guests at this hotel, in the morning at 9am arrival afternoons at 5pm departure.
When we wanted to pay our parking fees, we were completely horrified!
20 euros! We had to pay. Madness.
I have looked up, neither via internet nor at the reception a slip about this price, which I think is completely inflated.

Nice quiet area of Köln, I'm was clean and a good size. Breakfast in the morning was also good and with plenty to choose from.

Hotel splitted in 2 buildings, 1 is placed on opposite side of the street. Absolutely boring to go outside and walk in street to get breakfast. The access card system is not reliable at all. Then, when you are in front of you door and the card is not more working, you need to cross back the street with your stuff, queue at the desk and maybe it will work. Staff explaining you that because you place it near to your cell phone. It is first time, I get this remarks and this situation. the desk staff is rude and not inline with brand standard and more over with high rate. The parking is also really, really expensive :20euro for 1 night.

We had spent two wonderful days in Cologne including a visit to the spa and a delicious dinner and an extensive breakfast. The staff was very attentive and friendly. We are very happy to return.

Reception and service are first class.
There was also a free upgrade to a suite.
Only the parking fees of 20 euros per day are set too high.

Excellent locale. 10 mins walk from The Dom cathedral and Hauptbanhoff which is essentially by everyrhing. 3 mins walk frim Rhein. Nice rooms good staff excellent amenities. Quiet area. Nice size pool, gym facilities and sauna. Nice restaurant. Will use again.

Nice hotel in the middle of Cologne. The rooms are designed according to Mercure Standard and offer a good overnight stay. The conference rooms are different in size and have everything you need for training from Beamer to stand-up tables. Coffee in the breaks and small snacks are also very good. A point deduction is available for the rather average midday kitchen. Unfortunately it is only served for the eye but the food is not worth its price. The quality could be significantly improved.

Absolutely recommended. The service is terrific. The breakfast infinite choice. Quality perfect. Honey from Fresh honeycombs. The staff exemplary. All wishes were read from our lips. Cleanliness and hygiene top. The pool was clean and the room was clean. No matter what we wanted from the staff, it was implemented immediately. So pleased I was seldom. Everything is perfect. Gladly and certainly again.

Third consecutive year we stayed at this hotel. Ideal for couples. Very quiet, elegant and comfortable.

The hotel was very clean. The double bed consisted of 2 individual mattresses, which are easily slipped. The light switch was directly behind the mattress, which is why the light was at the smallest movement. The cleaning staff was already at 8am in our room, without which we could have reacted to the short knocking. One hour later again the same. The view from our room was an office building from which you could see everything in the room without any problems. The staff did not inform us extensively about the parking spaces, etc. The pool was not accessible for by the cold. I will not book this hotel anymore!

We will definitely stay there again.

Would not recommend. Overpriced for next to nothing.

Dirty towels. Shower in the morning at 11 o'clock only lukewarm. No change. Receptionist enters WG. Warning without knocking simply the room. Not very accommodating. Know that from other good hotels otherwise hardly any free parking facilities. For one night just so sufficient.

Unfortunately, there was a construction site that was not mentioned during the booking process. Very loud noise. Please specify next time when booking. Otherwise, okay.

Very nice staff and pleasant atmosphere in the hotel.
The kitchen conjures up delicious food and the calories are retrained in the hotel's own swimming pool.
The shopping street is within walking distance with a small walk.

Good clean room, well decorated with good facilities plus amazingly powerful shower. Good breakfast and selection. We had a free upgrade because the booking company made a mistake. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing hotel, beautiful room, fridge in room, Tassimo Coffee maker in the room, super comfy bed, hot shower, extremely clean, very friendly service, large lap pool and sauna in basement. We will definitely stay here again!

3 star hotel. Single rooms are in a separate annex. Key cards failed for a number of guests. Breakfast and restaurant food is good.

Clean and comfortable, convenient parking and lovely modern room. Shame about the lack of safe in the room and a small mix up with the card access that stopped working in our whole plan. A few minutes drive from the Centre, helpful and professional staff.

Stay. The highlight is the outstanding breakfast buffet.
All staff very friendly and helpful.

The rooms were OK (4 *). There are deductions for the parking fee of €15 per night. We parked for €4 / night on the road and the wireless Internet is extremely slow, faster access is subject to charges. Breakfast we have not tried (€19 P. P. ), have breakfast in the town for half.

Good Hotel. Great Service. Eat somewhere else. It was good but just not vervorragend, what with the price, however, would have been expected. Great Breakfast.

There participated in a seminar of the day. Pretty inconspicuous from the outside, middle class usable from the inside. Good kitchen. Kudos to the staff: attentive, friendly and fast.

Everything wonderful. Only the Wi-Fi is chargeable and outrageously expensive. Nowadays a no-go.

I stayed in this hotel for 5 days. It is perfectly fitted for a work travel, but as a tourist I would recommand this hotel because it is only 15 minutes by walk from dowtown (the Cathedral and Hauptbanhof). Even though the breakfast is really expensive (20 euros) but you have a lot of choice for this price :D The rooms are cleaned, but maybe too simple. It is really quiet and located in a good place (they are restaurants, the "upper class" quarter, and many parks). The staff is really friendly and helpful as all the inhabitants in Koln. You only need 5 days if you want to see all of Koln. This hotel has a good price-quality ratio. :) The only thing bad is the pool. There was nobody but that's because they didn't heat the water so it was too cold :S.

But the inside that counts. Very good service, delicious breakfast to human times. You can go swimming in the hotel. What you want.
We were on a WE trip in Cologne and have gotten a suite at no extra charge, although we had booked a standard room only. Why? No idea and had us anyway. Anyway, the hotel has set still an icing on a wonderful weekend. For this heartfelt thanks from Berlin.

From the outside, the hotel has a unscheibare façade but inside clean and inviting, friendly reception.
The room is clean and has everything you need. Nice quiet location, comfortable bed.
The breakfast buffet was a little monotonous. Especially on a Sunday I would have liked more choice of bread (raisin mares).

Great German hotel for business travel. Wi-Fi is an extra fee, but it's not outrageous and that seems to be the standard at hotels in Cologne anyhow. Service is polite and wonderful. Pool is nice for swimming laps, gym set isn't great for much more than cardio machines.
