Excellent place! Just in front of central station, clean rooms, good view.
There is no air-conditioning, fans are available on request. U will need to keep with u tooth paste, shampoo etc. If you want to avoid 16Euro city tax, then a pdf letter signed by your company stating that you are on an official visit should be sent to the hotel email. Breakfast is of 9 euro and worth it too.

Next to train station and nearby Dom, excellent location, great BF.

We were now four days, very clean rooms, nice staff, and centrally located. Whether to the station or to the Duomo or to the Musical Dom.

Location is very good and rooms are clean and well managed, staff is cooperative I like it and recommends other people to stay here.

+ The location is great and the hotel at the train station is not to be overlooked. The rooms are clean and well in shot. Staff at the reception are friendly. The price is ok for this hotel.

— No air conditioning or broken. In summer, the rooms without a climate quickly get very warm. With the window open, it can be endured, but the volume of the station is not to be endured. In summer without climate in the room definitely not recommended.

Well located but repriced hotel.

I haven't stayed there, but give one star to the customer service. I accidentially made a wrong booking and wanted to cancel immediately, but still had to pay a full cancellation fee which was basically same price as the stay (about 100 €). Even though the wrong booking was my mistake, it should be possible to cancel for free within such a short reaction time. I have done so with several other hotels who also had cancellation fees, but made exceptions because of my immediate request. I can understand the reason for some fee, especially if the room is booked for a while (which is wasn't) but this is just unreasonable.

Good location of course, but the rooms do not have air conditioning. It was very hot, and with the windows open noisy.

A very well located hotel in Cologne. Nearby is a station, a bus station, a railway bridge — the city's landmark, DOM, tourist routes and shopping streets.

Super located, right next to the HBF.

Located next to Cologne station, Cologne Cathedral can be seen up close from the room and is highly recommended! The equipment is relatively simple, there is no thermos bottle and refrigerator.

Very unfriendly staff at breakfast! We were allowed to wait forever for a coffee due to private phone calls and conversations with the colleague, even though we approached the ladies. We also didn't get scrambled eggs anymore on the grounds that breakfast would be over in 20 minutes anyway. Just poor service!
The hotel itself is very old, but the location is great.

Good location for people who travel with DB train.

The staff were very helpful and helpful. Breakfast perfect. Friendliness at the reception on arrival on the 15th 4th. Perfect against 15, afterwards with other staff not quite so.

Normal Hotel of the cheapest in the area.

The location was amazing with views of the cathedral out the SW corner. I had a rental car on this trip and had to pay 20 euro each night to park, would probably just use the train next time since you can walk right out the door to it.

The rooms overlooking the train station are a bit noisy but it's super nice to be in the city center and have a view of the Cathedral.

Excellent location next to the railway station and the Dome. Small beds and much too high price rates within the Trade fair period. Friendly personnel.

Just right out of the train station, nice hotel and comfortable.

An outdated Hotel, the only benefits from very good location. The room was old fashioned, small and Spartan furnishings. (Double-) bed was everything but comfortable. The bathroom (with shower, no bath) smelled moldy and the furniture was probably, like everything else, too, am in the Hotel, older than I myself. For one night, it was not to endure, to recommend for a longer stay definitely.

We flew with my son, located in the center of the room quiet, very comfortable. Clean, bathroom has a bath. No fridge, but we had not planned a meal to keep in the room. For a short weekend is a great option. We were very pleased.

Good hotel in a central location.

Great hotel with perfect location at Central Station. Despite the direct connection to bus and train but still relatively quiet. We were pleasantly surprised and happy to come back! :)

I travel a lot professionally and often stay in different hotels. It is important to me that I can sleep well, because mostly I have to go back early in the morning. In hotel commerce, my expectations of calmness were met. Every time I stayed there, I had the beautiful Cologne Cathedral in front of the window:). Shopping facilities, as well as delicious food can be quiet, as the location of the hotel is very good, directly opposite Cologne Hbf!

Stayed for 2 nights at this hotel, on a recent short mini break. Great location… you literally walk out of the train station, cross the road and you're there. Even though you're right across the road from the hustle and bustle of the station it is surprisingly quiet with the windows closed! We also had a fantastic view of Köln Cathedral from our room, which looked beautiful all lit up at night! The room is pretty basic but is clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. There is also a good selection of food at the buffet breakfast, and also has a sauna and gym (neither of which we actually used, so can't comment on them) The hotel is also located in the lovely 'Altstadt' part of Köln and I would definitely be happy to stay there again!

Perfect location in the citycenter, 20 m from main train/bus station but quiet.

Very well located, good sound insulation despite proximity to the train station. Bedding at the top (the cushions are a little too soft for my taste) bathroom nickel. Service of staff at the top. Breakfast very rich and good. I'll be back!

Great value for money, very centrally located hotel near the central train station.

Have spent two separate nights at this hotel and found it very comfortable and in an extremely good location. Reasonable price and friendly staff, highly recommended!

Stayed at room 601, on a floor entirely to me and my family. Biggest room there for a decent price for 2 nights. Clean and great interior, with a gym and sauna downstairs. Staff were polite and quick. Unfortunately we didn't add/include breakfast but still recommend :)

We stayed 2 nights over Weiberfastnacht in the kommerzhotel Günnewig.
The location is super and central right opposite the hautbahnhof!
It is a good, clean 3* hotel.
The rooms are good in the equipment, the bathroom is no longer the latest but completely sufficient.
Varied and tasty breakfast buffet in a beautiful, bright breakfast room overlooking the cathedral.
Despite the travel time we had no problem even with 6 people to get a free table at the main breakfast time.

The hotel price was not cheap; but it was also high season for Cologne and due to the central location you can walk anywhere and save the taxi money or can get to further destinations very quickly by S or U Bahn.
We were fully satisfied and will come back.

The hotel is horrible. Had make a wrong booking which is 2 months later in Dec, 2016 and had requested to change but they refused. Wrote to them and they did not reply. They did not even reply to my message on the facebook. I double their customer service. Very bad experience for me for a start…

The staff at the reception is friendly. Unfortunately the contrast with a single colleague in the breakfast room. At breakfast, everything is offered what you need. There are two stars because the drain in the shower once ran the water si uncomfortably rich that the shower was unusable and the ventilation in the bathroom went through the whole night.

Great location for the Christmas markets and getting back to the airport.

Nice staff, clean, reasonably priced and spacious rooms plus a great breakfast. The only bad thing was the shower was cold. I reported it and they said they'd fix it immediately but I had checked out by then.

This Hotel is a very nice Hotel. The staff are very, very nice and helpful there. The location of the hotel is just perfect. One is directly at the main station, directly to the Cathedral, 5 min from the city centre (ongoing) and one is 3 minutes away from the Rhine river (ongoing). It has everything in the immediate proximity. — the only drawback is that there is 'something' out loud in the room, with the Windows open. But if the window is closed, you hear nothing more from the outside, which is very commendable! The Breakfast is also super tasty and varied. I can strongly recommend this Hotel.

Ventilation in the bathroom ran the whole night — — > I have slept VERY poorly because of that. The soap dispenser in the shower has seen better days, saw something gammlig… Breakfast was very good. Hotel but I would not necessarily recommend it.

The Hotel is neat and reasonably clean. The staff at the front Desk was very friendly. The Breakfast is very diverse. Here is something for every taste. In the Restaurant it is a little too warm, here would be an air conditioning unit attached. If you are against 10 clock wants to sleep, you hear a lot of noise from the main train station — but this is probably the price you pay, if you like a Hotel would like to take, the is centrally located. All in all, Recommended.

I have the night very well slept. And was of a hearty Breakfast surprised. Great Selection. Great Ambiance. Brilliant Scrambled Eggs.

Highly recommended for the location alone, 30 seconds walk from Cologne's central train station/underground and only half an hours' walk or a 5 minute underground ride to almost everything worth seeing in the city. Small and basic rooms but they have everything you need (short of tea/coffee making kit) and ours looked to have recently been refitted. Other rooms on our floor were being refitted during our stay but the work caused us no disruption at all. The room was reasonably soundproofed, there was no noise from the train station but road traffic was audible. Not a problem though as traffic volumes dropped significantly in the evenings. Aside from at the front desk we hardly saw any staff, which could be a good or bad thing depending how you look at it, but our room was always made up when we were out. Well worth the very reasonable price we paid.
