I’ve just arrived from beautiful city Cologne and I would like to say that half of my unforgettable impressions were made by management of hotel “CERANO” in the centre of Cologne. From the first step you may feel high hospitality, friendliness and help in each question from Mr. Andreas. All wishes were immediately done. Thank you so much, Mr. Andreas, for high quality of service and your tips about the sights of the city! The breakfast from Mrs. Liana was amazing. Very tasty coffee, 9 kinds of fruits, fresh orange juice, smoothies and huge variety of dishes doesn’t let you desire something more. Thank you so much, Mrs. Liana, for your kindness, care, beautiful smile every morning and super tasty jam with lavender) ) ) Our room was very cozy and always cleaned. Big thanks to lady, who cared about our comfort in the room. Also, there are a lot of fruits, cocktails and water with mint, cucumber and lemon at the reception which are served for the guests 24 hours for free. Wi-Fi has a very high speed; you can call and speak with your relatives without any problems. In one word, here you can find everything for your convenience. Friendly Staff, great Breakfasts, but the Rooms need Attention. Radio Ecker in the Bedside Table With a cut Power Cord somehow does not fit. Great Underground car Park.

Staff are very friendly. Underground car park directly opposite. Costs for the day €1212.
Breakfast is expandable but that's a matter of taste. For the short trip ok.

Location was very good, you did not walk to the cathedral, I did not go to the cathedral for a 10 min walk. After the pictures I honestly imagined quite old-fashioned, which was in the end not so bad at all, the bathroom was something very small, but otherwise I am totally satisfied with the room. Being. What surprised me the most, however, was breakfast. Since the hotel itself is quite small, I only expected a normal breakfast, but there was much more. There was everything you could imagine from two types of rolls and bread, cold cuts over salad, fruit, smoothies, wraps to a machine where you could make yourself freshly squeezed orange juice and you would also be approached between again and again whether Everything is fine.

This hotel is the best place to stay in Cologne. Personal approach of hospitable staff, delicious food make this place very special. Liana and Andrea you are incredible people. I appreciate all that you’ve done for us. Birthday party was unforgettable.

Good place to stay. Nice breakfast.

Room wasn't particularly clean, feathers and dust balls on the floor round the bed, scum round the bathroom taps and the shower height adjustment was broken. However it is a very cheap hotel considering it's a 5min walk to the dom and city centre train station. You get what you pay for.

I decided to stay in Cologne very spontaneously. In this hotel I would find something in the evening. The team is super nice and helpful. The rooms are small but very fine and clean. The breakfast buffet is the hammer. There is actually everything it takes to start well in the day.
5 minutes walk to the cathedral or to the city.
In short, highly recommended and the value for money is hardly to be topped.

Central City Hotel located 10 minutes from the Duomo and 5 minutes from the lively Frisian quarter. The rooms and the bathroom are small but clean and friendly. The breakfast buffet is lovingly presented and the selection is good.

A hotel for Japanese who are accustomed to small box as a room. Only if you like the, hopefully soon on the bulky waste facility is questionable. The rooms are quite small for a hotel but adequately equipped to spend a week in Cologne. The bed is very comfortable and absolutely not well located. The blanket for the night is at 186 cm felt a bit short, or I'm just spoiled by my blanket at home. For my taste, the furniture is somewhat frumpy and work. For one or the other it has charm.
Cleanliness in the rooms is great and in the rest of the hotel also.
The breakfast buffet is very varied and you can see that it is worth a healthy diet. In addition, there are free fruit to take away at the reception (with us there were apples and oranges).
What I pull the star for is that, in my opinion, bad times are a general overhaul. At some corners, as in the pictures, it forms a little bit of mildew, which is still limited and in other corners is the silicone sealing should only be partially or no longer present. In addition, the walls here are quite thin. We had a very funny neighbour who liked to have laughed and probably like watching the far.
Generally it is quiet at night and there is nothing to do with the traffic (during the day one hears an ambulance occasionally, but that is everywhere).

The hotel is in a very good location. The rooms are relatively small but adequate (well) equipped. Price-performance is great.

Very welcoming and cozy hotel at the heart of the Koln. Welcome drink on arrival and kid friendly. We got free upgrade to a bigger room because traveled with infant son. Proper Baby cot was arranged well ahead. Room was nice, clean and great view of Dom from the balcony. Bathroom was spacious and has everything you need. Breakfast was awesome with widest choice of drinks, cereals, bread and omelettes. You cant get any better deal than Cerano. Highly recommended and must stay in Koln.

I don't know if I've stayed at a better hotel for that price. 70€ for two people + breakfast in a room with a balcony in the middle of the city? OK, the room wasn't spotless, the breakfast wasn't spectacular, but the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We stayed in the hotel mercure the two nights before which cost 30€ more without breakfast (another 19€/person), which was a huge ripoff. I would recommend the Cerano to anybody in cologne.

It's a really good hotel for its price range and stars. Very close to the train station and the Dom Cathedral, very close to the main shopping areas. Small rooms but comfortable, bathrooms are small but practical, beds are comfy. The only downside is their style of pillows really.

I stayed there cause desired last minute to go to Gamescom. When visiting Cologne usually I stay in Excelsior, which is my favorite hotel. Cerano is probably OK for a 3 star hotel, but I didn't like it. The good things is that it's not dirty, quite and Wi-Fi covers rooms very well, internet connection speed is also good. Hotel is hard to find without map, rooms are extremely small, walls are painted with some glossy paint. Everything looks pretty used. Breakfast was pretty disappointing due to small flys which were all over the fruits and even in the juice. If you are on low budget and Cerano is you only choice you can go for it, but if you have an option go elsewhere.

Perfect location, amazing breakfast with quality food, and clean room, good beds. Staff were friendly and helpful. But there were a couple of issues: Firstly it would have been nice if the staff had told me this hotel does not have 24 hour reception. I did not how to get in when I came back late at night and could not get in. No one answered the telephone. I could hear it ringing loudly from outside. Eventually I tried the room key on the entrance door and it worked. Phew! Also, in the room I had there were no free power outlets in the desk area, eventually I got on my knees and disconnect the plug for the lamps. (Maybe I was the guest who needed to plug in a computer and charge their telephone, not). Finally the water in the shower did not go down and would have overflowed if I had taken a long shower. But apart from these minor inconveniences the hotel was perfect.

Köln (Cologne) was a wonderful stay with the help of Cerano Hotel. The location was fantastic: a few blocks to the cathedral. The breakfast was delicious and extensive. Parking right by the hotel, only thing is it was not included. Staff very helpful and friendly. They speak English. I recommend this hotel!

Very close to the centre of the hotel.

Small but nice. Clean. The breakfast buffet is awesome. At any time, water and fresh fruit juices free of charge are available. Highly recommended.

I was there with my girlfriend for 2 nights in a double room.
Overall, we were very zufriedem. The location of the hotel and the staff is friendly, helpful and compromise.
The breakfast was made with a lot of love and included in the price. It ewar one of the best that I could enjoy in the hotel so far. There was for example. Much fruit and freshly squeezed juices.
I found only the room in itself sufficient, but it is not very good.
The room was a very small speed virtually right next to the elevator. It was fairly thin and small.
The equipment of the room (no safe, no fridge and small television on which the image is also not on all channels was top.
Overall, I would again visit the hotel mainly due to its central location and friendly staff.

The rooms are somewhat older, but alright. This location is very central, the staff very friendly and the breakfast excellent. Without freshly-squeezed fruit juice to get out here.

Pro: very helpful and friendly staff, super good varied breakfast (which is 5 star)
Cons: Extremely small room; you could open the case only on the bed. The room was next to the very loud elevator: not possible to sleep.
