The hotel was nice and simple, not to much to ask from a room but it had everything, down to a bathroom, kitchen bed. Sadly the water didn't work in the kitchen but that's okay.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The price was 172 Euro for two nights. I find it too high for dirty mirror, old furniture, holey bed linen and towels. Hole is in the entrance door. The spiderweb is everywhere. I want to forget this hotel as soon as possible.

We loved the apartment they gave us for our family of 5. The beds were comfortable and it was a very modern bathroom. The continental breakfast was delicious and made the stay even better. Very close walking distance to the big Church and train station.

Why buckle me 35 euro reservation fee after charge 35 euros, all four or five days also do not return hotel reservation fee refund, no refund I can only go to Booking to find customer service.

This is the worst hotel you can book! Customer service is awful! I had problem with them and they told me to call the other day and no one picked from that day.

Good hotel but if you live in ground floor the window is like a door when you open it you can directly walk out to the street and say hi to pedestrians. That's a good way to experience the Cologne people's daily living. It's marvelous. The breakfast is good.

Hotel with good location less than 10 minutes from the cathedral, in a quiet area. The rooms are not remodeled but everything works and is clean. The breakfast included is varied (scrambled eggs, bread, butters, sausages, cold drinks and tea) and correct. The Wi-Fi didn't work.

Price is worth it anyway. But there are little things that are not in order. For one night okay.

The lift is not working. When your room is on the last floor you really feel it. The rooms are to expensive for what it is, dated room. 2 good point the room is warm enough and breakfast is ok.

Room totally dirty, mold on the walls in the bathroom. Our room was not even clean. TV doesn't. Staff. Not German and understands nothing. Sry but never again.

The room, in my case, was incredible smaller. See pictures. The hotel doesn't have bar or restaurant, only for breakfast. The Internet didn't work in my room. The signal is very low. The matrix is bad as well. Avoid!

Rooms from the sixties and seventies, a leaky roof window that can't be closed at all. All in all pretty run down and not recommended. Rooms were changed because of a leaky roof window, but the alternative rooms are not much better. And the whole thing at the fair for about 200 €/night. Absolutely not recommended!

Very familiar! Very nice staff and the boss (a force — original Kölsch) The breakfast delicious and wishes are met! Room very cozy! Hotel location is so central to the city and everything quickly reachable we are regular customers and stay there! Thank you.

I can't understand the many bad reviews. For the price it is great. Room clean, beds good, and breakfast better than expected from a 2 star hotel.

The only good thing about this hotel was the top location in the city centre! From the outside, this "hotel" could be guessed that the ratings on the internet are well-matched. The light display hotel was defective, it only shone a letter. The front desk staff was friendly. The rooms are probably old flats, converted into "hotel rooms". In the hallway that led to our room, electricity cables hung from the wall and everything was worn out. When we entered our room, we immediately noticed that the bathroom door had been smashed (there apparently someone had to beat it), the rest went first. When we opened the fridge, we almost surrendered, so dirty he was. Bathroom was OK, only the shower head was extremely scaled. There were many dust flakes on the floor of the whole room. The hotel was not comfortable, as everyone could come into the building and the room door (door) did not seem very stable. I didn't want to go for breakfast… For one night it was just okay, for more on no case! The €70 were way too much for this room!

The hotel Cityinn is ideally suited if you want to visit Cologne for a weekend. It is really central and is very inexpensive, the rooms are clean and the staff is very nice. The only thing that is not so great is the breakfast, it is not really extensive and the buns taste very sticky as if they were from the previous day. Otherwise definitely worth a night's stay.

The only thing positive is the location. Otherwise not recommended. The mattress is like a hammock in strength. The room was anything but clean. Windows could not be closed properly. Shower shower and faucet dirty and rusty. Spider weaving on the ceiling. Window Greenish Verspakt. The breakfast was an insult. Coffee Pot filthy (and I was the first guest at 07:00), dirty cups, table and slicer. All in all I would have better slept in a youth hostel. And the price… €95 per night.

For an assembly week or weekend in order price is cheap but you should not ask too much but all clean and simple mobilization. Nevertheless, it is worthwhile.

The only plus was a great location. The breakfast was not that bad. But the room was not good. Really old furniture, many things didn’t work or were broken. There is a small kitchen within the room but it is not permitted to use it. It was so weird herring this from the receptionist. And she was not polite explaining this.

Avoid! You would be better treated in the old Gestapo building and jail around the corner.

The rooms were clean and the staff courteous pity for the poor breakfast (plus there was no water)

Not a star gave it, it is disgusting, we stayed in Room 104, which is just around the corner from the hotel in a very lonely area, the plate of the entrance to the rooms is not good, anyone can enter!
The room was very close to the front desk, no internet, no TV signal, no phone to communicate to reception, there they go at 10pm, so the hotel shuts down at that time, the bathroom did not serve the telephone sprinkler, water was out everywhere!
The curtain of the same about to fall and flood the bathroom logs of loose contacts, the sheet of the loose room.
It was reported twice and there was no positive response from the young reception!
Truly a hotel disgust, I would never recommend it!

I know it's economical but that's no reason to have the facilities in conditions of sadness, we come from Mexico and we always thought that in Germany this was going to be different, but we see with sadness that it is not, Hornelas and a disgust of hotel, and attention! Lamentabke for everything, Instalac, service, attention, etc. That instead of Hornelas I meant Horrible! An apology Esnyedtra room was 14, not 104.

Very quiet places. A good breakfast without croissant or chocolate bread even we are in normal Germany.

AVOID! 31st July we checked in at around 3pm, we got given room 41 for 4 person, we left our luggage and stuff in hotel and we headed out sight seeing. We returned around 11:50pm and got into bed, at 1:20 am I noticed something is crawling on my leg, as soon as I switched my phone torch on I noticed bugs on my bed sheet I turned the room light on there was loads of bugs walking on the walls, We rang the recipient and they provided us another room by 3am. In the morning when we spoke to the hotels manager she was refusing that there is bugs in the room and suggested that we where lying and brought the bugs our self Even though we showed her video and pictures of the bugs walking on the wall and bed sheet I will upload the pictures on here. DEFINITELY AVOID going there it's not worth it all very rude manager.

We've booked this hotel for a one night stay and only started reading the reviews after we made the booking. The other reviews filled us with dread but we were unable to cancel the booking so we stocked up on antibacterial wipes and braced ourselves for the ordeal. We booked 3 single rooms on the ground floor of the annex building (it's around the corner from the reception). After imagining an absolute pigsty we were actually pleasantly surprised! The room was clean, it wasn't in a state of repair and the bedding was clean. I also had hot water! A much better start than anticipated! And given the location and price it was actually quite good. All is not well in paradise though. The impression one gets is that the hotel rooms were cobbled together with bits and pieces picked up and sourced from building renovation and landfill sites. Unfortunately the best German craftsmen were NOT employed in the construction of the hotel rooms — I've got a feeling that it was done by an uncle or cousin that's doing a bit of building renovation as a sideshow to their main occupation as faith healers, street musicians and bare knuckle fighters. There were no common fixture fittings between the hotel rooms, apart from our key chains. My bathroom had a huge basin without a plug. The toilet was not fixed level and using the commode whilst drunk was a challenge. Somebody dropped the box of tiles for the bathroom so an impromptu mosaic was done in the bathroom.

Entry-level hotel, but at high prices (~ €200 during Photokina).
The rooms are small, quite old and not very clean in depth.
The shower malfunctions in almost every room, with little pressure and significant temperature changes as another client opens the water.
The entrance to the hotel is not very easy to find.
The staff is when to him pretty friendly and willing to help. Free Wi-Fi is included as well as breakfast (which is ok without being as varied as in other German hotels).
This hotel will be acceptable at a price lower than €100 (a little more in case of big event) but definitely not the paid level.

Terrible hotel. Moldy bathroom and everywhere spider nests in the room. Can therefore be no question of cleanliness. After 5 min again checked out! Unreasonable.

Absolutely do not recommend it as a hotel. It is not a three star hotel, at most I could one two! The rooms are dirty, not to mention the bathroom! Not even the hair dryer! The dirty towels and old, without SOAP and toilet paper. The TV didn't work, although we had notified the front desk. Drafty Windows. Breakfast ever quite sufficient for all customers, despite the relentless Lady does not stop ever. The only redeeming factor is its central location and close to the station.

Rooms shabby, water pressure and hot water close to nonexistent. Service and reception were unfriendly. Lock of our door did also not work properly. This place might have seen better days, but they are gone for quite some time now.

This hotel is not because is itself a star stuck too much… the bathroom ceiling of full mold of the toilet lid only on one side and clean a foreign Word for this hotel is definitely… and the rest you have to write much because just the words one.

Only in emergencies to recommend…

It was not really the scoop. Had only cold water to the shower. Broken socket, there hung cable out. Urine stains on bed rest. Very dusty, sometimes much obsolete. The TV looked like usselig. Wi-Fi had otherwise not only at the reception. The breakfast was the only thing that was really good. On the whole, as it is already written, it was not the blockbuster. I think we come back there.

Telephone booking, on the day of arrival, nobody knew from the room, very Cheeky way. Not Recommended.

The worst hotel of my life, I had never been to a hotel and I had found the towels on the floor and used the beds, broken and used. I can understand that as it is cheap, the conditions are not the best, but if you come later than 22h, as has been my case don't get anyone, call a phone that gives you a code from a box to take your key. The worst thing is that I have called that number to explain the situation, and tells me to contact tomorrow in reception. … unfortunate service, installations and all!

Is a Flophouse, not more and not less. Centrally located but that is the only advantage.

Simply terrible. Probably just with the broom durchgefegt, toilet leaking and the best thing was the used patch what in the room was. Pretty much stimulated inevitable.

The Best thing about this Hotel is the Internet presence! Otherwise. We had a "elegant comfort": a double window would not close, with each burst of air, it opened by itself. Despite repeated reference to the reception it was not repaired. Always it was said: "tomorrow, Tomorrow. " Just as it was with the toilet seat, the very 'flexible' on the toilet bowl was. The whole bathroom was very unattractive, dingy 'writing'! In the Eigenbeschreibung it says: "All our rooms are new construction" — utter nonsense! The opposite is the case. In several Nachkriegsbauten are apartments to hotel rooms had been rebuilt. The Internet in the Form of Wi-Fi, only at the very small reception with only very few Seating options. Emergency exits and escape routes in case of fire are in this winding construction, unfortunately, is NOT shown : — ( Very handy is the very Central location. The short distance to the Duomo Cathedral, the railway station, the Hotel is located directly on an entrance to the subway. All right, Breakfast is in the basement, a former Disco or similar. "Who is it extraordinary is exactly right with us. " & "every stay is a memorable one. " Voluntarily, not again.

TO AVOID! Make no reservation in this hotel: If you are a victim of an accident and cannot honor your commitment, they refuse any compromise. You can show a medical certificate written in german, they stay on their position. The manager is selfish and inhuman.
