Some old-fashioned ambience, but a lot of charm! Like to come back!

The hotel is very old. Unfortunately, I found that the room took me back to the 70s. Unfortunately, it can't recommend it at all. The only thing that was very good was breakfast and the lady who served me at breakfast.

On business from the US and this is the second time I have stayed here. Everybody is really nice and helpful and thankfully, their English is better than my German. The room I have is currently about 74 Euro per night and though it is a little on the small side, it is more than comfortable. The breakfast in the hotel is what I would call standard European and is very good. The parking is a little cramped if there are a lot of people here but I have yet to have to park on the street. I would recommend this hotel if you are traveling to or through Bonn.

Beautiful 50/60s hotel to feel good. No air conditioning rushes, very pleasant non-tech climate. Nice staff. Fresh things for breakfast.

Came to Bonn for Peoples' Climate Summit leading up to COP23. Was a little anxious since this hotel was much more affordable than others in area, but I was SO happy with my stay. The location is very convenient to transportation with an easy, pleasant walk to the historic city center. As a woman travelling alone, I felt very safe in this area, even very late at night. The room was pristine and comfortable, updated bathroom. Staff friendly and helpful. Ample breakfast every morning with fruit, bread, cheese, meat, yogurt, etc. Would definitely stay here again!

The rooms are in a very outdated state — with the carpets you get the creeps, breakfast is good.

Clean, and close to many attractions in Bonn. Great staff, basic breakfast. The is busses and tram station few steps from the hotel.

Clean rooms although a bit small, daily cleaning of the room. Complimentary breakfast. A little pricey for what it offers.

We have in June 2015, the wedding of our daughter celebrated incl. Overnight. It was a very successful Celebration thanks to the helpfulness and friendliness of management and staff. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast very good. Rarely have so nice helpful staff experienced. The Hotel, also for family celebrations of up to 50 people, only recommend.

Earlier Smoking rooms, this one has also smelled. "Bathroom" was with lightweight walls virtually in the room reingebastelt, loose tiles on the floor and everything in shades of brown, the early 80s. Worn-out furniture, small TV, dingy dishes at Breakfast. On my complaint regarding the loose tiles was explained to me that this was a matter for the owner of the house and could do as a tenant, because, unfortunately, nothing to do. All in all, no justification for the high price.

My secretary booked the hotel before reading the comments in the internet. So I expected the worst after reading the comments. However, the management had changed and there was nothing to complain about. The rooms were very clean, the staff very friendly and the breakfast was top — you just pay 5€ for breakfast! Atmospere is international due to UN and international staff from 6 countries. If you go there, keep in mind that the building is an old villa and you cannot expect SPA, sauna or other facilities. But I will surely go there again.
