Were there for the knight's feast, very well organized and totally entertaining.
Food was top, only the main course was way too much for 2 people.
Staff friendly so you felt really good.
Despite Corona a wonderful evening during this time.

A great restaurant! We had goose and everything was perfect, very tasty side dishes and an irresistible dessert. Very accommodating service. All in all a wonderful evening 💕

Long waiting times, very unfriendly service. Only regular guests are swashd. In this price segment, one expects that there is some flexibility in menu selection. Only one! vegetarian option, on request fish is offered. The service does not even know what the dishes are called (husum paste). It can only be ordered from either the beer garden menu or the restaurant menu, but not from both: 'We don't even start with this'. Ice cream cups from the map are only available. If you want to bury guests to Corona completely, then top!

We spontaneously booked a table and ate very well!

As a hotelier, not only was this a very pleasant surprise in a most scenic location — everything was absolutely superb — from the food to the service, well-appointed rooms — and would love to explore more during the summer season. A true hidden treasure. Well done to the team — and long may this association with Dr Schutz last.

All in all, this fits together well. Here the friendly staff always puts a lot of effort into it. The result is always a great experience with every visit.

The hotel is class, also the breakfast and the service in the hotel are right!
The restaurant, however, did not leave a lasting impression on me!
The menu is very small and actually consists of only 3 dishes. In different variations. And the food for 30 € per person (without drink) skin no one around!
The seasoning is average. Nothing special that would justify the high price of food!

Great room, breakfast and great food in the restaurant. There are a lot of routes you can explore nearby and the staff is very friendly. We had a pleasant stay here.

This is a very nice piece of land on which the old castle stands and further down the inn.
I was there to celebrate a wedding.
Dos has also been possible in the castle itself since January 2015. The further celebrations were then continued 500m in the inn to the Schaumburg Knight.
The food was great and the rooms are very nice. Because big Sal can be separated into two individual ones.
Then you drive into the forest and sware you escaped from the Tristen everyday life.
For a walk only recommended and then a strengthening om restaurant.

The beds in the country house rooms are not recommended. Too short. And the pillows are getting used to. Otherwise only book in good weather!

Absolutely one of the best hotels I've stayed in. If your near Hannover Germany this hotel, and the area it is located is well worth the visit.

A unique location in the middle of the forest, yet easy to reach by car. Parking spaces are suitable for the handicapped. In the restaurant you can enjoy all meals and extras from breakfast to dinner. If you are looking for usual and boring food here you are wrong. The kitchen can always be a new delicacy to enchant the guests. Also the motto evenings are well organized and filled with delicacies and ambience. The rooms in the tower are clean and spacious as well as the bathtub. After a long hike or a trip, you can also end up in pairs. The staff is always on hand to answer any questions and is always very friendly and helpful.

The house itself radiates a softly restrained elegance. The service is courteous and always friendly. The kitchen could hardly have been better — the only downside was the lush pillow that made the bed appear too short.

My absolutely favorite restaurant in my home region. Cooking with phantasy and ideas — quality of food and preparation excellent, all stuff from the trainees and service stuff, to the owners is almost very friendly and helpful. Prices according to quality ok. If you wanna dine special and good — go there.

Great restaurant! We have been here now three times and the food is excellent! A real pleasure to enjoy dinner here. The restaurant is located opposite the Schaumburg Castle.

Rooms and breakfast were good. Unfortunately, we didn't get a seat in the restaurant in the evening, so we had to drive more than 10 km again to go out to eat. There should have been seats for hotel guests.

Fantastic. Just beautiful. We celebrated our wedding here in the knight's tube on 07.07.17. A really attentive and courteous staff. A great compliment to the chef. We were all very enthusiastic.

Our company stays here for all out of town visits. The staff remembers us even if it has been over a year since our last visit. I look forward to coming here. The meals are all amazing and seasonal.

We know you to goes not to the discounter, have but regretted not euro. Price absolutely o. K. Good cooking ideas crafted top implemented. Flexible kitchen that has directly responds to special requests. Good wines and recommendations that fit well with the aisles (got there now 2 x powered). Nice staff and the hotel also super. The location is a gift. Give 5 star and hope that you never get the idea to pursue a gourmet star, this craft remains top, down to Earth exqusit and affordable.

Best place to eat in Rinteln. It is posh and expensive, but the staff is very warm.

Fantastic! We loved every minute of it. The rooms were quaint, the staff was incredibly nice and helpful (and spoke English! ), the breakfast was delicious, and the grounds/castle were amazing. On the occasion of a family celebration, yesterday we were with 7 people in the hotel Restaurant Schaumburger Ritter to guest. We had the menu previously discussed and were all impressed by the presentation, quality and taste of the food. The table was the occasion according to the beautifully decorated, the Service was very attentive, we felt really well cared for. We would like to thank the kitchen and Service staff for this unforgettable Essvergnügen!

We have our wedding dinner after their civil wedding Ceremony held there, it was very nicely decorated and the menu selection, which is in agreement with us has been established, came the guests wonderfully. The ambience was very pleasant. We'll be back for sure.

4. Time in a row, we were at the 2. Christmas day with the family for a 3-course menu in the Restaurant. This year we noticed that the background music is inappropriate for the occasion and the table decoration is very Spartan. The portions were small and the staff also asked not, as usual, if we have something to want to have. On arrival was our wardrobe removed and hung up, but in the quest, we had our stuff out of a tangle of many coats and Jackets have to look yourself. The taste of the food was as always very good, as with the high-priced dishes was to be expected. Also to the children, with a card and a Ausmalbild was thought to have been.

Very delicious food, authentic atmosphere, great views, good service.

We were last week, with 22 people in a Workshop, including medieval banquets in the Schaumburger Ritter to guest and were completely satisfied. Due to the size of the group we have, for the unit price of the rooms all the accommodation and get all the goods with your rooms are very satisfied with the rooms in the Annex at the most beautiful. I even had the luck, one of the two complement the suites ' occupy, what a luxury ;-) The medieval banquets was very plentiful and tasty and the accompanying by a jester and his daughter also entertaining. The waitress was very friendly and attentive, as well as at Breakfast, which is also very good and abundant. All in all, a successful event to the annual accounts, the you can only recommend.

The first time we were there, we were dressed "inappropriately". Jeans pants and Wacken T-shirts.
Everyone ate and drank differently and then tested us through the whiskey card.
Then the very friendly waiter asked if we were chefs. We found it quite funny and flattered.
Since then we are at least 1x a month in the knight for friendship care and also for the very good food and the very competent advice for food, whisky and wine.
Since I was now 6 months in the service, I am very happy to deny with my friends in the knight and to drink comfortably.
I am very much looking forward to the good food and the friendly service.
I highly recommend it to everyone and recommend to eat there.

Wonderfull place and good food.

We are already several times been there. So far, we were always very satisfied. Therefore, we had absolutely no concerns about our special partnership anniversary (mid-April 2014) a special weekend to spend. Yes, a special weekend it should be. That was then, but unfortunately in a negative sense. We had exceptionally to Celebrate the day, the most expensive room (a tower Suite). Is the tower Suite is beautiful, which is actually very pleasant, there are several rooms with doors are separated. Among other things, a Glasschiebetüre. However, this was unfortunately not to, if at all, only under the massive force. I thought it was a great pity, because these rooms but still very new. Our daughter wanted us to actually surprise & Had for Saturday there is a Candle light Dinner for us booked. But it was, unfortunately for us in advance, no Surprise at all, because to me personally, even before the arrival suddenly a bill for a Candle light Dinner by email. Saturday Morning was the 1. Disappointment at Breakfast. Specified Breakfast time was 08.00 up to 10.00. We are on Saturday at 09.00 at Breakfast, but the Buffet was unfortunately already very empty and it also has not been added, what we have been doing so ever did not know. Egg cups, there were no more. And as the drink is on Saturday, unfortunately, only coffee was offered. Sunday we got up especially early so that we have the selection at the Buffet. That was o. K.
