I guess you get what you pay for — and in this case it's cheap. The room was built with modules, so the interiors felt like the inside of a trailer/ caravan/ mobile home with a lot of plastic details. A bathtub was a positive surprise. Our room didn't include breakfast, so that is something you got to look up before you book. So, as I said the pricing of the room was low — and so was the standards.

The location is really close to the Hanover train station, about 3 min away. The room was really spacious, clean and nice, it even has shower and bath, sofa, tv, extra table and chairs, water cooker, refrigerator, safe and a curtain that splits the room in two for some privacy. I managed to grab the room for a really good price for the budget and it was really worth for the money. I liked staying in this hotel and would recommend it.

I stayed this hotel because I had a morning interview for a new position within my company. The visit started off nice, the woman at reception was polite and helpful, confirmed my late check-out of 2pm (so I could change and grab my stuff after the interview), and I got a free 8 minute massage. However, the next morning just as I was about to go the shower, the cleaning lady opens the door on me naked. She didn't knock or anything! When I confronted her about why didn't she knock, she took an attitude with me. I got dressed and went to the front desk and asked for the manager to complain, and the clerk told me to complain to him. I got a mediocre apology, at which point he should have stopped. However, he then offers me a coffee on him for the stress. This was an insult. The invasion of my privacy is worth some coffee?!?!? I just hope my stuff is safe in the room while I am at this interview in an hour…

Room is spacious and worth the money. Strategic location as located behind the central main station and walking distance to hannover shopping area. However breakfast choices are limited and the same almost everyday.

Great hotel in a good location. Decent breakfast, clean and spacious room for 4 of us. 2 Adults and 2 Children. Excellent staff all round especially Mike Anders who went out of his way to make us feel welcome and kept our kids entertained. This made our short break all the more enjoyable.

Nice hotel. Clean. Good size room. Staff very pleasant. The only down side was the location. Although lovely and close to Haupt Bahnhof and all it has to offer… The area seems to be the meeting/sleeping place for homeless and drinkers. Very good price though.

Modern hotel very close to the main railway station and directly at the ZOB. No nice view but in the immediate vicinity of the shopping center. Good and also cheap parking in the many parking garages at the station. A few minutes walk to the city centre.

Everything normal: beds, breakfasts and treatment. After 4 nights I will not remember this hotel for anything specially good.

Hotel i. O. However, outrageous receptionist who demands price increases despite other booking confirmation and threats (exclusion of certain booking systems) if one does not pay. The whole thing when checking out, even though payment was done at check-in.

Price-performance is great… Large rooms with shower and bathtub. Central location… The small hotel bar of the reception is unfortunately open from midnight.

Quite ok, only at the cleaning there is verbesserungsporential. At least in room 522 who likes hair from the guest beforehand in the bathtub and at the sink.

Novotel Hannover is very well located in the Hannover. Hauptbahnhof is very near buy and hardly take 2 minutes to reach there. Flix bus service is available opposite to Hotel. After crossing the Railway lines, someone can enjoy the shopping eating as it's crowded and happening place known as city center.

Great rooms, at convenient location, small kitchen area where I can cook some items and ofcourse very nice breakfast.

Good and clean hotel. The bathroom has a little plastic character, but is clean and functional. The bed is comfortable. The hotel is very central and quiet. The breakfast is good, not lush but not too little. Everyone should be fed up.

Very good value for money, clean. The bed was well located and rooms should be painted once. Otherwise OK.

Good hotel. Room are nice, clean and equipped with modern amneties. Approx 100mtr distance from Hannover Hauptbahnhof.

We were two moches in Germany to visit Hanover and we were close to the train station. We spent another night in France in a five star hotel and it was not comparable. The best hotel I've ever gone to in my life should give you five stars.

Nice hotel, very good service. Have booked without breakfast, was a bit too expensive but close to the train station there was a cheaper breakfast.

Very good. Room has a bath, shower, microwave, kettle, and other excellent facilities. The room was also very large and comfortable. The gym is small but open 24/7 which is useful.

A good comfortable hotel for business trip. The concept of the room really gives a feel at home. Checkin and checkout was quick and efficient. Breakfast was not extra ordinary but good enough for a quick breakfast. Staff haf to struggle a bit to refill due to high no. Of guests at same time. Shall stay again during next visits.

Rooms are big. But I've got a room that was formerly a room for smokers. The hole 5th floor was formerly for smokers. Even though the floor is actually a non smoker floor it smells in the rooms (cold cigarette smoke). I couldn't sleep there. Not good when you have to work whole day. And they didn't give me another room in another floor, because they were overbooked. At least that's what they told me. The breakfast was okay.

Relatively new hotel near train station, directly at the bus station. Room for 3 people (had it alone) — rather cramped and astonished. Bathroom and toilet separated but not nice. Built-in prefabricated parts, Dixy styles. I have never seen and expected the price. Had to pay in advance what I'm not used to. Staff at reception quite incapable and snippy. Once and never again.

Very friendly staff at the reception. The room was also quite good. I had a nice stay here.

Good hotel near Hannover central station. Rooms are nice and spacey, the bathrooms are more Ibis style.

Upscale basic and clean room. Good bar downstairs with very friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast rather expensive — try Colosseum cafe just outside main station entrance.

Very nice personel. The room was quite clean, but the shower head wasn't. But this is a common thing in hotels for some reason.

Only flaw. The parking at 200 Mt. For the rest, standards respected.

I have to say that I really enjoyed to stay here, the bad was very nice and super clean and it's has whit everything you need. The bed was super comfortable and it has a separate area for the kids with their own bathroom. The food at the restaurant was delicious, they have a a variety of food. The employees are very kind and there's also a shopping center around the hotel which is great. Besides there's a gim for those who wants to stay fit the onli one thing I have to say that is not very positive is that under the kids bed wasn't very clean… But the rest was great.

Excellent hotel, very clean, lovely breakfast. Great room facilities especially when staying with children, microwave, fridge, kettle, with complimentary tea and coffee and a bottle of water every day. Would definitely stay again. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Central (behind the main station), clean, nice rooms.

We had booked the family suite, with 2 adults and one child, for one night. The suite is big enough and the third bed is a real bed and no folding frame, which I think is great. Everything is clean, shampoo etc. In the bathroom and despite the city center and construction site in front of the door, with closed window, quiet. Unfortunately there were only towels for 2 people. Wasn't a drama but still stupid when you booked for 3 people. The décor is as good as new but the bathroom and toilet were a bit reminiscent of a ship's cabin. Not ugly but closed, no windows and with plastic walls instead of tiles. Is certainly a matter of taste. There is a car park around the corner, which costs only 3€ for a day. The staff was very friendly. We didn't have breakfast. All in all, we were satisfied and would book again.

BETTER TO STAY ON THE STREET!

Solid budget hotel with no thrills or special service. Rooms are clean (especially bathroom and toilet cabin) but furniture and carpet are a bit used up. Breakfast is nothing too exciting except the coffee is actually pretty great. Location is convenient for a quick trip in and out by train in an otherwise unattractive area of town but a short walk to more interesting corners with restaurants, shopping, etc. Make sure you'll get a room on the back though as the front can be quiet bright and noisy at night.

Loved this functional suite room with a nice bathroom including, both, bathtub and shower. Wall TV at the the end of the bed. Fantastic black out windows shutters and even a panel curtain dividing the sleeping and sitting areas of the room. The during area includes a microwave and fridge with a small basin as well. All of this, at a very convenient location with great comfortable suites equipped with all you need for a long or short stay.

The staff was friendly, rooms were big. Unfortunately, it was not really clean. Part of the floor has stuck. Bathroom with shower and bathtub. But everything is very "cheap". The toilet was separate. However, very small. Price-performance is not at all given.

Very good hotel. The room is very clean, comfortable and pretty and the best thing is that the location is close to station.

Got woken up be the cleaning lady and instead of apologizing she ended up yelling at me and insulting me. As long as such staff is employed this is not a hotel you want to spend your time and money at. Management was immediately informed about this situation but has to this date not dealt with my complaint in a satisfactory way. To end on a positive note: there are plenty of very good alternatives in the area.

It was really a very nice stay in the Hotel. Everything is modern and comfortable. The staff is nice and courteous. Because I will always stop by. You really feel in good hands.

This suite hotel in nice, conveniently located, rooms are of a good size, and bed is nice, with a human sized comforter, not those ridiculous half twin-sizes you will usually find in Germany. Room has a fridge, tea-kettle, and microwave. There is also a washer and drier in the hotel, free of charge, which is nice. what I did not like: room service is inconsistent, one day they do a good job and the next day they forget to put a new toilet paper. The reception staff is not very helpful. The hotel advertises free massages on Thursdays and free smart you can have if you stay 4 nights or more. Now the massage is a 5 minute back rub and you can have smart only if you have European drivers license! now, I don't know about you, but I don't have one and they wouldn't accept my US license.

Spacious, with kettle and microwave and TV and Internet. Nice shower and bath tub. They even have a washing machine in the hotel free to be used by patrons.
