We arrived to Alter Packhof and had booked one of their suites — sizeable room with comfortable beds and bathroom. The suite was hot which made it very difficult to get a proper sleep.

We’ve been staying at Gasthaus Brauner Hirsch with our children for at least the last 5 years, and it’s always a wonderful experience. The place is spotless, comfortable, and truly welcoming.

As ever, everything was perfect. Very friendly and competent staff, excellent food, clean and comfortable room, good parking.

It is a nice hotel, a good location, a good team, and is very close to the old town. Everything was good, thanks to the team.

Charming hotel in a charming city. I personally really liked the low ceilings and narrow steps and occasionally funky layout. Lots of character.
