Great restaurant, pretty to look at. On the recommendation of a local arrived there at 8 pm and asked for a table for 3 people. We were hungry from our hike. Unfortunately, we were turned away by a somewhat arrogant-looking service. The kitchen closes at 8pm. Why does the restaurant advertise on its HP with opening hours until 10pm? If you can do without guests and recommendations — everything done right! In the Stolberger Hof we were then warmly received and served a wonderful meal. So i. E. Go straight to the Stolberger Hof!

Service staff are very friendly and fast. Food is also delicious. In summer, you sit right by the street. So you can see the many beautiful motorcycles that pass by.

City worth seeing. The countryside also offers many beautiful excursion destinations.
Hotel Civic Garden is topp. Service and friendliness of the staff super.

Very nice reception and Great barrier-free room with private parking and private entrance. A ramp was placed to the dining room so that Rollifahrer can get to breakfast well and independently. The only drawback, if you want to call it that, is that in order to get into the restaurant comma you have to leave the room over your own entrance and drive around the house. In the sun This is certainly not a problem in rain and snow but probably.

Small family friendly hotel with very friendly staff. The breakfast buffet was varied and good, the dinner very tasty. The rooms were clean and tidy, the house overall very well maintained. We like to come back.

We stayed 5 days in the hotel to the Civic Garden. It was a very pleasant stay. The hotel offers a homely atmosphere, the rooms clean and spacious. The staff friendly and accommodating. Breakfast buffet varied and the dishes of the menu highly recommended. Tasty and absolutely fine in terms of price.
We'll definitely come back.

Nice accommodation, good food. At the Guesthouse River very noisy. Nice spa in close proximity. Gladly again.

Unfriendly reception, which continued the whole visit. The staff would like to be asked for anything. Buns, eggs, water, drinks. Unusual for a buffet.

Family run hotel with feel-good factor. Has everything you need. Comfortable rooms, nice and courteous service staff and delicious food. And if that's not enough, you just visit the in-house sauna with whirlpool and infrared cabin. Conclusion Simply top!

Good gastronomy in old walls.
Moderate prices, very good food, very friendly service.
And some parking places in front of the hotel, more nearby — for Stolberg not a matter of course!

My wife and I chose this hotel because we liked the location. We were welcomed nicely, the size of the room was surprising and the bathroom was very spacious for me, to 70% severely handicapped. Also the big TV set came very well with us and the beds, for our terms, very convenient. Cleanliness in the whole hotel. We liked the breakfast buffet, it was extensive and tasty. We also took a dinner at the hotel. The food was very tasty and it was adequate. The service was very friendly and competent. Once again, thank you very much to the hotel and the staff. We will remember this stay for a long time and would like to thank all the participants of the house for the relaxing stay.

This rating refers only to the restaurant "to the Civic garden"! The restaurant itself is very nice cozy and rustic furnishings and the toilets are also very well kept and clean. Unfortunately, this was also all about positive memories. Now we come to the service, this is very bad and absolutely uncoordinated. In all our orders, orders were forgotten several times and the service itself was very cool and snooty. The best part was also in the invoice, the service was not able to split a bill into two parts. And now for the most important, the food. Price, performance are out of proportion. The prices are completely overpriced and get done here only a children's plate. But more important is the taste, this is not present and everything is drowned in the oil. I cannot recommend this restaurant and can only advise anyone to look for another one in Stolberg.

The hotel is very cozy with friendly, bright and clean rooms. Service fits to 100 percent and the staff is very accommodating and helpful. We are really excited about the kitchen. We have booked half board and are totally pampered. Three course menu, with two dinners for the main dish. And if both main aisles do not promise, a short hand will be offered something else. There is always something for everyone. We will certainly not be the last time in this hotel.

Just good. Historic and cosy. The kitchen is excellent. The rooms are simple but comfortably furnished.

We have a short break at the Hotel Zum Bürgergarten booked and were very kindly received. The rooms and the Service were good and the Restaurant needs to fear no comparison, because the cuisine is excellent. That was certainly not the last stay in this Hotel. Were from the 23.3.2015 to 26.3.2015 as a Couple in the double rooms. Everything was all right. A beautiful eingerichtetet Hotel with a really good menu. The staff is super nice. Family Weifenbach has also personally been asked, whether everything is in order. Nice trips taken. There were 3 wonderful days relaxing in this beautiful Hotel.

We were guests at this hotel for 3 days and made us feel very well. Rooms in the guest house perfectly, a diverse menu, friendly staff. To the point: we can recommend this hotel.

The hotel is a beautiful, intimate medieval half-timbered House, which suggests even the flair of this time. But the most beautiful House is empty if there not man-made is inhabited, receive, who do it out of inner conviction and with love. The owner and family of operator of you realize this at any time. Through their natural kindness guests to feel welcome as a guest and feel that the hosts want to make as pleasant as possible guests.
We can highly recommend this hotel and will return a sure again there.

"Good sleep in beautiful half-timbered House, lovingly looked after"
Each room is different in this beautiful old timber-frame house (since 1681) in the Harz mountains, lovingly looked after by family Weifenbach. Don't worry: the rooms are modern in design, very comfortable beds and quiet for a good night's sleep. The place with its beautiful half-timbered houses is worth seeing! Recommended! The rooms are all individually decorated. In my room there was a magnifying mirror and good lighting. Friendly attentive service.

We are Desireless have been happy at the hotel "to the citizen Garden". Rooms are top, the staff is very friendly and obliging and the dinner like breakfast are also very good and tasty :)

We were guests of the hotel for a few days and felt very comfortable. Thank you very much to the whole team. The food was very tasty, the staff is friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. From check-in to departure everything was in order. We like to come back when we're in the area again.

The hotel is located on the edge of an old town with a castle on the edge of the timber-framed of the south Harz. It is an old, beautiful timber-frame building with a corresponding Interior, excellently prepared and a very pleasant atmosphere. The House leadership is very obliging and binding. Very friendly staff and good instruction in the hotel. The rooms have a comfortable size, very clean and well kept. Good, comprehensive breakfast buffet. The operating staff is very nice, helpful, friendly, humorous, to have jokes. A very good kitchen with tasty food rounds off the excellent image of this hotel. The hotel is highly recommended as a starting point for exploring the sights and the nature of the resin.

As formerly loyal regulars we have to the repeated time bad experience with an operator (mean age, dark short hair) and the hospitality put forward by you.
You no longer have the feeling of being welcome, instead you have that feeling that everything is too much this aforesaid operation, total recalls a their behaviour to use restaurant.
Previously we have come like this restaurant, fortunately, there are enough alternatives in what one that has personal hospitality in and around Stolberg.
