The hotel win on it location which just a few minutes away from the Hamburg Hauptbahnhof and also nearby Steindamm in which a lot of restaurants/ cafes The lowest point was the Wi-Fi. You need to be at the lobby for a good connection since it always disconnect/hang while I'm in the room Other than that, the hotel practice dropping your key at the receptionist each time you're leaving the hotel.

Perfectly appropriate accommodations for the price. St Georg is a skeevy neighborhood, but very central. The only caveat was the extremely hard bed. I felt more comfortable sleeping on the train. The bathroom and WC were separate from the room out in the hall but in no way unclean or busy. Breakfast was also included in the price of the room and contained a generous spread. Overall definitely recommend for a short stay on a budget.

There were three of us. The third Bed was a folded Armchair. While it Didn't necessarily turn out pleasant because the Parts slipped apart, it did go.
The Hotel is centrally located near the Hbf River in Hamburg.
The Staff was very friendly, be it at the Reception, as well as for Breakfast. The Breakfast Buffet was very rich.

For 1 night absolutely okay. Close to the main railway station, good breakfast buffet, bearable street noise in the 4th floor, balcony, good beds.

Very unfriendly staff at the front desk. Totally overbooked. Had booked 3 bed rooms and got a 2 bed room with extra bed somehow set in. It was only after some discussion that we got a new room.

Room adequate, despite the good location quiet. Buffet for breakfast all right. Friendly employees.

Not recommended for the money. The location may be central but the surroundings, or The neighborhood is awful. My mother and I didn't feel well. The hotel itself is older and not modern or Not in a timely setting. Broken outlets, old dirty carpets and a tiny mini TV included. There is no elevator to the top floor and we had to haul the suitcases. The only positive is the nice receptionist. Nevertheless, we would definitely not come back. Disappointing.

It was very clean and the was perfect. It was very well organized, with all the staff being very friendly. They were great.

Great value for the price. Room and bathroom are clean but unfortunately vagitosis the carpet. Breakfast (6.30 to 10.30 h) also 4 *. More fresh fruit instead of farmer salad from the bucket then it would be 5 *.
All in all highly recommended. Good access to Central Station and Sbahn. Therefore very cheap and yet central.

The location is good though not the best to go out at night, nor to get with kids.

Had read interesting reviews about this place but hotel was more than adequate, fantastic staff who could not do enough. Area interesting, but just get on with your business and nobody bothers you. Good base for a few nights!

Nice hotel. Just in a few minutes from Train Station, subway and bus routes. Room was small but clean, and generally very good for such small money. There was a wide selection of bread, cheese and meet, yogurt and flakes for breakfast.

Good value for money were already several times in this hotel.
The location is very central to the main train station. The Steindamm may not inspire one or the other, but it has not bothered us at all. Would love to come back.

The rooms are clean and solid, but the bed is a little small for two persons. The service is ok. We liked the location, the hotel is near the trainstation and the central part of Hamburg, so we did not have to use the car to come arround. The hotel is clean, and the breakfast was ok. I did not like the pillows in the rooms, they were very low, and the bed is not a good size for two persons. Also I felt very cold, even though the heat was on. I could literaly feel the cold wind from the window directly in my head while sleeping. Everything else was ok.

Ideal for a short trip. Unfortunately our room was very dusty and right across the front desk which was very noisy. Room was small but adequate. The Wi-Fi was only temporarily working! Room Total drafty. Breakfast adequate and good. For the reasonable price OK. Alone as a woman the area is not recommended is stop St George.

The location of the hotel is not in a quiet location. They can offer fruits and drugs.

I was with family members here. The hotel itself is not bad, maybe not real 3 stars but good one for this price+breakfast. The issue is the area in which it is situated, for instance there is a sex-shop next to the hotel's door. Not recommended for families but for open-minded people only. Enjoy your stay in Hamburg.

Sometimes when Economy matters, it is a convenient choice to be around Hamburg central.

The price/performance ratio is right here. At first glance, the situation is "daunting", but everything is harmless. The hotel is close to the train station. It is also close to the Alster. A very saubres hotel. Rich Breakfast. Ideal for City trips.

The hotel is in either nice and quiet, it is very well located vis-à-vis the city center, however it has two faults. The first is its location, it is located in a "special" street and is even located above a sex shop… The second flaw is that the shower and toilet are on the landing, shared with the whole floor, not simple.
For those who do not put off (and have no children), it is good!

The breakfast was good as always the room clean but ring us on the day of arrival five minutes at the door after repeated wait to leave doesn't even though they sit together at the front desk. And the w — LAN went into our rooms which all 4 days not even though we each day carefully made the staff we were just put off and made them have nothing. This is not, then you may not specify that in each room is wireless. We were happy there were 3 x here and now we were disapointed!

This hotel is located above a "World of Sex Shop" in the red light district of Hamburg which isn't recognizable on their internet website because they edited it out! Very uncomfortable surroundings.

Annoying when after a long night in the morning, workers on the scaffolding around gymnastics and the night's over at 8:00 on Saturday morning.
Otherwise ok.

For young non-demanding people, it is more than sufficient. Bathroom clean and modern. Double room large enough, neat and comfortable. Breakfast served very chic and the scrambled eggs is divine. The situation something frightening especially at night, but okay! :-)

The district is… well, some getting, it's very foreign touch. Personally this bothers me now less for a short trip of Hamburg. The double room is not just the biggest, but on every case sufficiently. Bathroom and toilet are very clean and new. Breakfast consists of bread rolls, various cold cuts, cheese, fruit salad, scrambled eggs with Bacon, tea, coffee, yoghurt and cereals. All in all 4 stars, if we consider the price-performance ratio.

Room incredibly small, and unfortunately not clean. Bathroom very in need of renovation… Will there not more book, search not for a single Overnight stay.

All the best. For a short trip very well located. We have in the 5 floor at open window, quietly slept & in the big city. We are, despite the "red light district" in no way harassment.

Good location close to the main train station, the entrance can be easily missed. Clean rooms, good Breakfast buffet. Not all floors with an Elevator.

For 70 euros per night for a double room for 2 persons. Hotel is super clean, Breakfast very tasty and the location is really good Central area. From the aforementioned red light district, we have not noticed but you can much bad talk. For the price, this Hotel is the best choice you can make, and everyone complains can also be for 300 euro into the Steigenberger go and does not have to be disappointed to play.

For a short Hamburg Trip come full ok! Those who are on a good location, value sets should before with street view let's see if he can arrange that ;-). Otherwise, the hotel is clean the staff is friendly. Room was nice and big and the Breakfast was also really good. To me, nothing has been missing. Because of the location only three stars but for the price it's fine.

The Hotel is in the red light district is located, one can take a look on Google Streetview to learn. ;-) So that was no Problem for me. For nearly 60 EUR for a single room, everything was okay: — Service very friendly — free Upgrade to double room, because a single room is not available — free, fast Wi-Fi Interior could time a repainting use is already something into the years come.
