The hotel is highly recommended for every Hamburg visitor due to its great location, right in the center of the city. The free 3-day ticket, which you get on arrival, makes excursions much easier and after a delicious breakfast, you can start the day carefree. The staff is friendly and helpful. The house and the rooms are lovingly furnished and maintained. Public transport is on site.

For the 2nd time I stayed there. Each room is different due to the size of the hotel. This time there was unfortunately a very narrow room with a narrow bed. Window directly to the busy road. Otherwise very clean, bad tip top, price/performance completely okay (DZ ca 128€/night) I would also be there a 3rd time guest.

Good Hotel close to the railway station. Would definitely stay there again.

I recently visited this hotel with a friend for a 2 night visit — fortunately it wasn't a longer stay!. The hotel is well located for public transport, restaurants and the hop-on hop off buses. The room had old fashioned decor and furniture, but a room safe and fridge. The staff were pleasant and helpful and the room clean, This is a hotel that has expanded into adjoining buildings over the years leading to different floor levels in one building to the next. I took a "Classic Room" through one of the booking sites. This mean't that as a 78 years old, I had to go by lift to the 1st floor from the reception, walk along a passage and down some steps, along a further passage and down a flight of stairs to another level, then more steps to a refreshments area and then in the lift up the 4th floor, whilst carrying my luggage! So if old or infirm, perhaps better to give this hotel a miss. I was visiting the hotel in the middle of the heatwave. The large windows of the room faced South leading to an excruciatingly hot room even with windows open and the inadequate fan battling to keep up. I asked for another twin room and was offered one, still partially facing into the sun, with NO fan! In future I will pay more and try to upgrade from "Classic Rooms" which are initially offered by booking sites.

Amazing hotel. Great room. A/C would have been great as it was fuming hot when I visited. The walk from the lobby to the room is a maze. And a 5 min walk. Huge hotel. Overall I really enjoyed staying there. I would definitely stay there again.

My room was quite clairvoyant. I always knew what was going on in the neighbouring room in the TV. The staff was mostly very friendly and helpful.

Class hotel with a special character. It is an old building, thereby somewhat winding but tiptop renovated. The hotel rooms are modernly furnished with ample space and storage space. Especially the bathroom is bright, clean and large.
Breakfast does not leave any wishes open. Only flaw: There are no large tables in the breakfast room.

Rooms were clean.
The breakfast is delicious and plentiful there is something for every taste.
Only the water of the shower is likely to be hotter this is the only minus point.

Hotel in the centre opposite the main train station. The rooms are not very large but suitable for a medium budget. Everything is clean and the staff is very friendly. Breakfast for €14 is quite happich but there are plenty of other options to have breakfast.
Parking is not available here.

Wi-Fi connection was terrible and constantly lost and reconnecting. Hot water in shower was not hot in January…

Great location fr business trip, decent breakfast, friendly staff, clean room, overall is n recomended place to stay, the only chalenge is multi short stairway when you travel alone with big lugagge…

Deciding to stay another day in Hamburg, we walked next door to the Furst Bismarck and were greeted by the most friendly desk attendant. His English was beautiful and he made us feel most welcome as I asked about his accent. He spoke several languages; Arabic, Berber, t French, German, and English. He helped us with directions for our train use the following day. The hotel provides a transportation pass, too. Can't say enough about the customer service at this hotel.

Very nice atmosphere. Especially professional team at reception. Loved especially the free ticket for public transportation. Extremely good and central location.

Clean and modern rooms friendly staff a short walk from the central station and the coach hub in the living room also includes a transport subscription.

Location is very close to a major train station, service was good however slightly frustrating that as your rooms have real keys instead of keycards you have to leave your key at the front desk every time you go out. Room was spacious but had no air conditioning and no bar fridge to store our water or store bought drinks in. Bed was comfortable with good choice of pillows. Internet access was using a code and only lasting three days, a slight annoyance. Included breakfast had a good range and quality food, the inside of the hotel however was a little maze like.

Really close to the train station and includes public transport in the room cost. Friendly staff and a good size room and bathroom. Unfortunately no air conditioner so the room got a bit stuffy. Opening the windows makes it much nicer except when smoke blows in from people smoking upstairs.

Clean place, and comfortable rooms. Very kind and helpful staff for a place that (in my experience, and partly due to Trump) isn't friendly towards Americans. Breakfast was fantastic, definitely get your money's worth.

Tiny room, elevator down for more than 48h but other correct services.

We stayed here recently for my surprise bday weekend. The hotel is central to the train station and very easy to get too. We were allowed to check in early on arrival, staff were very helpful, friendly at all times. The room was clean spacious with an en suite separate, TV in room safe facilities in the wardrobe. Breakfast was buffet style and very well stocked, from European, to cooked with unlimited visits, same with tea and coffee. Staff very attentive and friendly. Beds made daily and clean towels if needed with complementary mini packs of harribo jellie sweets placed on your bed. I would certainly stay again.

We were now for the 2nd time on New Year's Eve in the super beautiful hotel. When we booked it again, we were looking forward to it all the time. Breakfast, room and staff is great. I can only recommend it.
We are also happy to come back.

Clean, location even through the station and it is in the pedestrian area.
Breakfast plentiful and delicious. Friendly and helpful. Also a super plus one has on the day of arrival and in addition 2 day tickets for S and U Bahn including.

The Hotel convinced with its Central location and the nice style of the house. Our room was very spacious and we felt very comfortable. The Breakfast buffet was also very rich and a good Start to the day. So, we were able to strengthen the Elbmetropole explore. My thanks also to the very nice and helpful staff, all were very friendly and created a lovely atmosphere in the house makes them unique, ESPECIALLY like I a young employee at the reception with a Beard hervorrheben of something new seems to be. He was very friendly and Attentive. He inquired as to whether his recommendations have liked, and it made us joy by his friendly manner to speak with Him. It is also for this reason, I can only 5 stars to give :)

Super tolles hotel super lage.

Me and my husband had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. The rooms are very clean and the hotel is centrally located in the Hamburg area. The only downside is that there is no A/C in the rooms, no bar for a drink and if your room faces the central station and you sleep with the windows open it can get loud.

The location of the hotel is just at Zuganreise unsurpassable! The Hotel and especially the rooms were great, only was the path from reception to the room, maze like. And unfortunately we had a room in the old area. Nevertheless, it was very neat and clean, there was a fridge, Safe and it was very quiet (apparently, we have the replacement to the right page hits). A particular advantage was that we, the public transport, to Use and unlike other reviews I had read, we were able to leave our Luggage is still in a separate room, storage after check out and the time is a little in the City to distribute. Breakfast, we have not used, because for 13€ p. P. Also well where else can eat Top Hotel.
