We stayed 2 nights. We arrived early and they let us check into a really nice, quiet room. Great professional service. Quiet neighborhood location: 3 blocks from the train station. 2 small grocery stores nearby which were so convenient. Some restaurants close by, Walking distance to waterfront. Definitely will stay again. The only thing that took away the last star is the AC was not strong enough during the very unusual heat wave that wrapped the city during our stay. We found that the AC were not strong in most of the other places too: stores, markets (except the meat section and freezers), eateries, museums, etc.

The service was very attentive and accommodating. The rooms clean and very comfortable beds. In addition, you have a very good view from the upper rooms. The location was not central because you had your peace but in a few minutes you reached the train station with which you could go to the center. All in all, I am very satisfied and would recommend it to everyone.

Really good location, ac only worked sometimes which lead to the avg temp in the room being 25-27 C. Overall a fine place to stay and easy walking to everything you need.

Modern hotel in a central location. Most of the sights are within walking distance. Friendly staff and fast service. The rooms are modern and very clean. A good idea is the coffee machine in the room. The breakfast buffet is plentiful and delicious. For us the domicile in Hamburg. We are happy to come back.

We had the First Class Suite in the winter. This is beautifully furnished and offers as a kind of penthouse a beautiful view over Hamburg.
The staff were friendly, the bar predictably good.

Was from May 6. Until May 8 guest. A beautiful, quiet house and yet in a very central location. Cosy and modern rooms as well as a great breakfast buffet make for a pleasant stay. The staff is friendly and helpful. Parking is available in the house (underground car park).

Clean rooms, good breakfast, great location inbetween St. Pauli and Hamburg city.

There are No rooms for three people or more.

Very friendly and helpful staff, a super bartender and a top service in the restaurant. The rooms are clean and modern.
Only the menu is certainly able to be upgraded, especially with regard to vegetarian dishes, but it was immediately and easily responded to special requests.
The only downside is the parking fee.

From the arrival to the departure I felt well cared for in the hotel room.

I personally can only recommend the house and I am already looking forward to another stay.

An air conditioner that cannot be permanently turned off — preset to 25 degrees, adjustable 3 degrees up or down and thus a minimum of 22 degrees in the room. Who please sleep so well? Tip of the staff: open the window.
In the shower it stinks enormously for mold, which one already sees from the ventilation "grow".
The standard of the house is OK, the breakfast good, so there is just so still the third star.

Wonderfull hotel with friendly staff and really nice rooms. Very well decorated and use of space. The food is great also. It is close to the harbor and shopping centre. And other attracktions. I hope to come back one day.

Goodlooking and comfortable hotel. Rooms are spacious enough and in great condition. Coffee-tea making facilities are provided. Staff was excellent. Breakfast not too elaborate but of good quality and available early (6.30 AM). Beware of one thing: this hotel has the 5th floor ('etage 4') dedicated to smoking rooms. I didn't know those still existed. Make sure you indicate a non-smoking room when booking this hotel. I hadn't and was booked into a smoking room initially. It was sorted out quickly (got an alternative room) but just so you know.

There is nothing wrong with this hotel. Our stay there was just perfect.
The high extra parking fees in the underground garage are probably normal for Hamburg. Most hotels in Hamburg do not have their own underground parking.

Very clean and quiet hotel. The breakfast buffet is very versatile. Friendly staff. Only the open bathroom is getting used to. Luckily, the toilet is separate.

The staff were very pleasant. In addition to the modern and spacious rooms, the hotel also offers a well-equipped and free fitness room. Also the service staff is always helpful & answers any kind of questions. This makes you feel very comfortable throughout your stay! Clearly 5 out of 5.

We could not have chosen a better hotel for our short stay in Hamburg. The staff could not do enough for you us. The online check in was a bonus and allowed us to put our luggage in the room earlier than expected. The breakfast was probably the best we have had at any hotel we have stayed at. The location was perfect for us for the Christmas markets and the shopping also the train stop from the airport.

It is always nice to stay in this small and very pleasant hotel. High quality rooms with great service and incomparable breakfast… there is nothing missing here. Also the location in Hamburg. Whether shopping, the office, the Christmas markets or partying on the Reeperbahn, everything is within walking distance.

Conveniently located. Not far from nice restaurants and Harbour area. Great breakfast! Checking out at around 8 can be slow. Plan ahead.

The hotel is good, has a great location. The room was generously cut. The breakfast was delicious and versatile. The big surprise came only when I was back home. My credit card was charged twice. Once on the day of departure with the correct sum, once two days before departure, with an amount of about 93% of the room costs. When I noticed this at home, I called the Hotel on a Sunday. The employee on the phone told me that I would have to wait until Monday, because the bookkeeping is not occupied today. This is of course absolutely understandable, only the lady showed up in conversation not exactly friendly. On Monday I learned in a conversation with the bookkeeping that this would be so common at Lindner, but it often happened that guests wondered. I wonder why this is not explained to the customers on site! So that it does not come to confusion.
It seems to me that the whole procedure as a customer is unfriendly, even as untrustworthy, so that for me it is no longer questionable to stay in a hotel of the Lindner group.

Good Hotel in the center of Hamburg.

The hotel is located near the city centre and to the shopping area. The rooms have funny design (no spoilers) so if you are sharing it better be with your loved one. As for the service, it's immaculate. Breakfast is standard, and if you order an omelet, you better wait for it before someone else grabs it :). The only disadvantage is the lack of view from any side of the building. There are several nice restaurants nearby, and a lovely park.

Here, the front Manager of recent years has probably known me. And the biggest one for me was, "we have reserved you already 3 parking places for your 8 m sprinter simply just sensational, how the staff of the hotel thinking, I myself wanted to call previously and I reserve the seats, but somehow automatically assumed from the hotel. Now that's customer loyalty and there's the NOTE "Very good" by the me!
Because I'm always at the Harley Days after Hamburg, I need of course a well secured parking for my Monster sprinter and here it is in good hands at Hotel Lindner.

Hotel is ideally located directly on the Michel so the annoying driving through half the city to the hotel not required. Who rips off the car you pick a different parking lot.
Prices per night for the garage are outrageous.
The breakfast is rich who wants to make a tour but eh I recommend the bakery around the corner. Right well at least half as expensive.
Also quite nice to cool down from the sauna on a balcony on the roof of the hotel. Nice Outlook otherwise is the 'spa' ehr Loveless.

Zimmer sehr gut. Essen sehr gut. Klima hat wenig Kühlwirkung gehabt. Lüftung war aber sehr laut. Fernseher hatte leichte Bildstörungen.

Our 2nd stay at the Lindner am Michel, Hamburg was again very good. The staff is very friendly and always has an open ear.
The breakfast is excellent. During our stay in December we asked the chef for meat salad, which we do not get in the United States, produced for us. We were so astonished that he found was now daily at the breakfast buffet. Thank you very much for this.
In addition, we had a reception for 13 persons followed by dinner in the restaurant. Thanks also for this purpose. It was excellent and the staff was friendly and accommodating.
The only thing we want to complain about, we in December and now in may in-room hairdryer katastophalen found. A hair dryer should have a little more power. I needed very, very long to blow dry my hair. It should be changed authorization. Maybe someone even tried the hair dryer by such as room 438. Also wouldn't it nice if also shampoo could be made because it is a problem when traveling by air to carry this.
We are looking forward to our next stay at Lindner am Michel.

Review:
This time, we had room 609, the rooms on the sixth floor below the sauna and fitness room.
The plant background noise was loud — even at night — we had it but never.
-> Room on the fifth floor or similar request, the front desk makes everything possible if rooms are available.
We like to come back.

First impression: very well located hotel with a very welcoming room.
The following:
1. Our ventilation in the small bathroom and the shower did not work. We have given a decision immediately on the first day — it has happened nothing!
2 Pina Colada is always cocktails with rum on Thursday for €5.50 — in my rum in it, why I had to pay €9?
3. Parking garage: per day € 23 — OK, but you can use only a Bill per payment and I with my €50 Bill (I had another not — Yes see above) got no change (at least €4) is absolutely not OK.
4. In other hotels, I am always asked when you check out, whether everything to my satisfaction has — not been here!

Very nice quiet but nevertheless centrally located hotel. Is always worth a visit. I think breakfast but a bit expensive for 23 euro. Tip: Compared to is a bakehouse. Since you've got the cheaper.

2 nights stay (Fri-Sun) in the context of a city trip. The rooms are very spacious and decorated, nice atmosphere, super comfortable bed, bathroom integrated great in the room. Hotel has a great location, approximately 200 metres from Michel, where you comfortably walk reached the Elbe/landungsbrücken, Reeperbahn and downtown. On a rainy weekend, you can spend also time in the wellness area (sauna, relaxation room and fitness room). Even SKY is available in the rooms. There is little point deductions for me the high room rate (where HH is generally not favorable), unfortunately unattentive and disinterested treatment at the reception and a very slow Wi-Fi (if you even have reception). Breakfast was not used due to an almost crazy price from €23 P. P… Small Tip: directly opposite is a great bakery, where you can breakfast very good and cheap.

Nice manageable hotel, very centrally located, walk a short distance to many attractions (port, Michel, St. Pauli, downtown etcl). Park in the parking garage possible, but with €23 for 24 hours a price category that is not justified.

Basically good. Additional services are too expensive or not very good. "Free Internet" for business customers in 2016 with the speed cannot be justified. Also non-existent cell phone reception is bad. Room very clean and tidy.

Parking in the parking garage are only drawback in any case. Already a princely sum is € 23. I think you could reduce the price for hotel guests to €15.
What we did not like, that the receptionist has not admitted its error and an apology did not materialise. Error has been fixed by someone else. Therefore, everything was great. But we don't like this kind of behavior.
Finally, we can absolutely recommend this hotel and would book again at any time.

We have the stay with a concert in the nearby Leaiszhalle u. With a Church visit in St. Michael's Church. My husband has the Lindner already booked, on the occasion of a training seminar for medical doctors, who in the vicinity has taken place. The arrival is easy & the corresponding underground Parking, super convenient in the Hotel, makes the stay in your house from the beginning to be very pleasant.

From check in to departure, always a pleasant experience. Staff without exception friendly and eager, rooms sufficiently spacious, bed comfortable, extensive Breakfast buffet, very peaceful location! Deduction there from my point of view only for Wi-Fi: free is with 512 kbps bandwidth is not longer up to date — at just €130 room rate per night but it is nowadays quite petty, for reasonably fast network per day €10 extra to request.

I was with my wife over a weekend guest in the Hotel. It is an all round lovely home with a great room that met all expectations. The Breakfast was super and even with free order of egg dishes such as omelette or Pancakes. The Service is unfortunately only as far as friendly, as you will have direct contact to them has (what I in this class, but also expect), so not beyond in the sense of a visible Dienstfreude. At least this was my impression. But what I really really went down badly is the Parking fee of 22 euros a day in the hotel's car Park, this should be for hotel guests free of charge design. Finally, I said, a most excellent Hotel. Is recommended in any case.

Rooms are getting used to, since bathroom and toilet are open. Only the very small toilet has a door. Stays completely covered. The Restaurant itself is loud pop music rather than subtle background music (easy Listening). The very friendly staff rattles when you clean up pretty loud with the dishes. This is certainly also different.

This was our first visit to Hamburg and we were very pleased with the Lindner Hotel, a brand we did not know until this trip. We found the accommodations to be extremely comfortable and convenient. From the spacious parking garage below the hotel to the lovely neighborhood with its many shops and restaurants, we were very pleased.

Ok rooms and service, but a room with two separate beds needs a shower room, not a shower in the middle of the room with glass doors. I can not imagine which thought process led to this design decision.

I was already in many Hotels, but so rude incompetent staff (at the reception), I've never seen before! For this rate, I expect a friendly to be served and I also expect me to ask (nothing außergewönliches) can be answered… NEVER AGAIN! The Breakfast costs 22€ and is included in the room rate not included is the 22€ is not worth it. The staff in the Breakfast restaurant is friendly.

The room was very clean with nice decorating and enough spaces, facilities were good, view of the room was excellent. Just the air conditioning system did not work so good, and the Wi-Fi did not cover all the area of the room.

Everything is great only the kotenpflichtige Wi-Fi is no longer up to date.

Both the location and the room convinced all along the line. Top service and great breakfast buffet. The wellness area with panoramic terrace is an absolute highlight. We would book there again at any time.

Great location without being too loud. Only 10 mins on foot from the harbour (Landungsbrücken) and the Portuguese quarter (lots of bars and restaurants). Breakfast was relatively expensive (€ 22.50 per person), but excellent selection and open until 10:30. Room was modern, clean, and comfortable. The air conditioning was quite loud, but could be switched off. Staff were friendly. We would definitely book this hotel again.

Lindner is a very nice hotel, centrally located in Hamburg. The rooms are modern and attractively decorated. The staff is extremely attentive and very friendly. Overall, we had a great short break.

The hotel has very good location and nice room, except the fact that the bathroom is opened, so if you live with somebody in a Twin room it becomes confusing and uncomfortable. Also despite quite good price per room, everything is for separate payment — water in the room, internet, breakfast.

Great place, very centrally located near the port, city center and the Reeperbahn. The staff is very friendly and your are really treated as a guest/customer. We had dinner at the restaurant, à la carte, and this was just outstanding. a place to come back to again and to recommend.

Friendly welcome, good room (open living-room area). Sauna for 6 persons (real quiet) sufficient + ice dispenser to cool down. Hotel am Michel was so far in the justice — Linder is the real alternative — quiet and very central location. Sufficiently extensive breakfast. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was also good. Friendly and attentive staff.
