Hotel Krone

The staff and owners (Siggi and Moni) are described as incredibly kind, warm, and hospitable people who welcome guests like old friends. The team is very friendly, attentive, and has a great sense of humor. Guests note their promptness in resolving requests—for example, when looking for spontaneous accommodation, a room was offered without hesitation.

Hotel Krone serves generous, fresh, and lovingly prepared breakfasts. Guests describe them as offering a wide variety, particularly highlighting the high-quality coffee, which one visitor called the best of their entire trip. Fried eggs or omelets can also be made to order upon request.

The restaurant offers regional specialties and traditional dishes prepared with fresh organic ingredients, free from convenience products. The menu includes dishes such as Zwiebelrostbraten with homemade Spätzle and roe deer ragout. Guests were pleasantly surprised by the availability of vegetarian options (4–5 dishes) in a countryside restaurant. The cuisine is praised for its high quality, generous portions, and reasonable prices. The hotel also organizes festive events, such as New Year's menus or large family dinners tailored to individual preferences.

The hotel rooms are very clean, well-kept, and tidy. Some of them have been fully renovated and decorated with great attention to detail. Guests describe the rooms as spacious and cozy, ideal for relaxing. Vacation apartments are also available, offering clean and quiet accommodations thanks to their location at the rear of the building.

The hotel is very child- and pet-friendly. Guests highlight that the staff treats young children with exceptional care and warmth, which is a rare find. Dogs are always welcome as well and even receive treats from the staff, creating a truly comfortable atmosphere for pet owners.

The hotel is not fully barrier-free. Although the restaurant can be accessed at ground level, the path to the restroom is obstructed by three steps, making access difficult for wheelchair users.
