URBAN LOFT Berlin

I was super happy with this hotel and will definitely stay here again. I had never been to Berlin before. It was an easy, stress-free walk from the Berlin Central Train Station. The room had a great band new and stylish vibe. Nice high ceiling but perfectly warm inside. No dirty old carpets! Extremely clean and beautifully designed and very practical. It had a safe, an extra large floor to ceiling mirror, a modern sparkling bathroom, the end wall in the main room was all glass with large glass doors that can be opened. I was on the second floor and the outlook was pleasant onto a reasonably broad street, giving good privacy in the room. It had simple, stylish and modern open shelving and an open clothes rack for hanging things. More than one socket for charging things. There was free water and hot water and a gym (24x7! ) and many other things. 10 out of 10. How can I stay in a regular hotel ever again?

Suitable for remote work.
We stayed three nights four days in the hotel, two of the days we had to work remotely. The room size is enough for this length of holiday, whereas there is no table/chair to work on with a computer in the room: workplace is basically the hotel lobby and common area on the ground floor where also the breakfast is served. The plus is definitely the free coffee and tea till 11.30 eventhough you do not book any breakfast. Wi-fi quality was also satisfiying for meetings with camera on.
What I questioned was the noise level at the common area. The volume of music was louder than expected for a hotel which also promotes a coworking space. But I must also add that when I asked them to turn down the volume as I was in a meeting, the hotel staff immediately respected tı that. Although there was a personnel who cleaned the floor with that big machine for quite some time just in the early afternoon, which caused significant noise (yet very clean surroundings). So all in all people who work during the day would require a quieter environment.
Other advantages worth to mention is the italian restaurant located in the hotel and as well as the Rewe closeby (app. 50 m away) for your lunch breaks.
The hotel is also 10-min away from Berlin Hbf — therefore great location advantage. Totally recommended.

Urban Loft was a quick walk from the train station. You can get anywhere from the train station. There is a grocery store right next store! The rooms were tastefully decorated. The water and coffee station was very convenient a real bonus. Also we had the pizza at the restaurant in the lobby and it was very good-fresh. Drinks were good, the rooftop terrace was a relaxing place to get away. Staff was helpful. Overall a wonderful stay.

The hotel is in easy access to the main Berlin train station (exit the south side and you can walk — it’s about a half mile walk).
They couldn’t promise an early check in, but when we arrived they were able to make it possible for a very reasonable fee.
My husband had many email exchanges (prior to arrival) with Morris and we were very impressed with prompt responses and outstanding customer service.
The hotel is very clean and the room was perfect. Well appointed and more than enough room. We typically don’t like to be near the elevator but it’s a quiet spot and the guests were respectful. We hardly heard a thing.
Breakfasts were wonderful. Continental but so fresh and of course all the different kinds of breads were SO YUMMY! They have two coffee makers that serve all kinds of coffee. Delicious cappuccino!
A bonus is they have many lovely sitting areas and a large table where you can get a bit of work/communication done in an airy, well-lit and calming environment.
There are delicious restaurants close by and a grocery store nearby as well. You’re close to neighborhoods with kids and the Spree River and even one of the last existing East Berlin Checkpoints!
Be sure to check out the rooftop. It’s quite lovely at sunset and a perfect place for an end-of-day-adult beverage.
This place is a gem. Great space, great staff, great location.

The room and the facilities were great, with a small gym and a lovely rooftop terrace we could chill on. The rooms were clean and spacious enough and the staff in the hotel were all lovely! we enjoyed the free coffee in the mornings and we were so close to a big grocery store which was handy. There was nice brunch places up the street and the walk to the central station was about 10 minutes. It was a good location but would take around 30 minutes to get to Alexanderplatz.
Overall lovely stay and would recommend!

I booked a larger "Urban Space" room, because I wanted to get some work done while staying. I assumed an upgraded room would be more suitable for working in. Well, as it turned out we were allocated an accessible room, which admittedly was larger, but didn't feel particularly luxurious, or that it was in any way an upgrade from a standard room. And despite being larger, this didn't translate to the extra space being useful because aside from the bed, the only furniture in the room suitable for sitting on was a single tiny footstool. I feel as if I paid for an upgrade and got essentially nothing in return.
Aside from the lack of desk, chair, sofa, or anything else you would typically expect in a hotel room, there are no tea/coffee facilities in room, no fridge, and in the bathroom there was barely any space to put our toiletries on (perhaps due to the accessible sink design? ).
Fortunately, the lobby/coworking space is nice enough to work in, and coffee is provided there for free (but only between 11:30pm and 11:30am, for some reason? ). But it is not ideal for having video conferences in, because of the music. But better than taking a meeting on my bed which was the only other option.
Also, the room had a bizarre motion sensitive under bed light that could not be deactivated (as far as I could tell) and kept flashing on and off. Along with an incredibly bright green neon light which I had to unplug in order to be able to sleep.

Very good staff, very comfortable bedding and close to Berlin central station which makes it easy to get around! We stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed our stay. Would have been great to have an iron in the room and personally I think the breakfast was a bit lacking. All round really good though and a lovely, comfortable place to stay. The free tea and coffee was also a bonus! :)

An approachable, friendly and modern hotel. Easy check in, helpful staff, and great location. 10 minute walk from Berlin Central Station and right by supermarkets. Amazing shower pressure and very comfy bed. Would have been even better with a mini fridge and iron in the hotel room. Would definitely stay again.

Location-wise, it’s perfect—only a 10-minute walk from Berlin’s central station. The staff was fantastic. We asked for extra bedding, and it was delivered quickly and with a smile. Every staff member, from the cleaner to the people on the desk, looked after us so well that we really appreciated it and would come back again. Thank you for making our trip to Berlin a memorable one!
The only thing I would say is, please get more DVDs for the cinema room! But that is by no means a criticism.

The breakfasts were delicous with lovely and free coffee all day. The service was 1st class. The beds were excellent. The bathroom was great and always had hot water. The shower was powerful. I would definitely come back. The lighting was very tasteful.

Amazing hotel. Everything was fabulous, the room sparkling clean, comfy bed I loved the artistic style of the room. Would definitely stay again when I visit again Berlin. The co working space was spacious with many plugs to work which was very convenient to work remotely. Bar and restaurant was great too and the pizza delicious.

Urban loft is fantastic! The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming! The rooms are super clean and modern. The bed was very comfy. The shower was amazing! The urban loft dancing queen cocktail was delicious! Overall very nice atmosphere in the hotel. About 10 minutes from the central station. I would highly recommend urban loft to anyone staying in Berlin for the first time!

Lovely hotel, great bed. Would definitely come again. The bed was very comfortable, the coffee in the morning was a nice benefit. Bathroom was very modern and I loved the high ceilings (it does have a loft vibe). May have found my new fav Berlin hotel.

New modern hotel with all the amenities at good value for money. The staff is bery friendly and very helpful, the rooms are big enough for a few days, parking is easy and the location is great for getting around. I will definitely be back!

Was a nice, cozy, and clean for a short trip. Location was good! Loved that they gave water bottles to use during our stay that you could refill with filtered water from the tap in lobby. Staff was nice. Energy was good.

Hotel is a 15 minute walk from the main railway station. Very pleasant and helpful receptionist who allowed us to check in early. There is a large reception area with bar and seating area. My bedroom was of medium size and clean. The main area of the room was mostly taken up by the double bed. There was a safe but no fridge or USB ports which surprised me given how modern the hotel is. No wardrobes/ hanger unit only which sufficed for my two night stay. Nowhere to sit other than on the bed. My room was overlooked by the surrounding buildings. The ceiling was bare concrete with a blue gnome/smurf hanging from it presumably to give it a quirky look. It is a nice hotel but not really for me. More suited to younger people.
I don't usually stay in this area when I am in Berlin and although it is near to the main station I found it a bit off the beaten track compared to hotels in the Kurfürstendamm area.

Urban loft Berlin was the perfect choice! Minutes from the bus line and about 10 min walk from main station, it had good food options located around it including in the lobby (we actually ate there twice). There's a free coffee machine and water machine in the lobby. The room was small but funky and cute. The shower was excellent, and everything was super clean. We really enjoyed our stay!
