Bob W Berlin Mitte

Bob W truly turned into a Bob L for me. I stayed here 11 nights and after checkout, without question or clarification, they charged an additional 250 euros to my card because “the room smelled like cigarettes”. We did absolutely ZERO smoking in the room. We did however sleep with the window open for fresh air and it just so happens that right below our window is a smoking area with an ash tray. It is not my fault that you have a smoking area with ashtray right below a window. Opening the window is my right and again, we did not smoke in the room. It is a central neighborhood in berlin snd besides this it was a nice stay, but I expect better common sense and customer service from such an expensive establishment. There was no complaint of smoke smell after my scheduled cleaning 7 days into the trip. Seems like they wanted an easy money grab. Disappointed with the ending here and I wish to speak with supervisors to get this charge refunded.

The location couldn’t be better — right in the heart of Berlin, super central, and perfect for exploring the city on foot or by public transport.
The apartment hotel itself was even better than expected. They’ve truly thought of everything! Extremely comfortable beds with high-quality bedding. A fully equipped kitchenette with a small fridge, dishes, utensils — everything you need for a short or long stay! Spotlessly clean and beautifully designed! Smooth and easy self check-in (worked perfectly)
It’s one of those places where you immediately feel at home. Practical, stylish, and incredibly convenient.
Highly recommended, and I’d absolutely stay here again on my next Berlin trip! 5 stars! 🌟

We arived at aroud 19:30. Only then we understood that the entire hotel is digital. Following the instructions we tried to do the Check-in (without the checkin you can't enter the hotel), the Check-in didn't work. We stood outside in the cold for around half an hour, trying to reach the hotel through teleohone, SMS & Whatsup. After half an hour someone pickup the phone and bypass the check-in.
Its importent to mention that while we waited other new guests of the hotel came across the same issue and waited outside (and then in the lobby) for a long long time.
In the mornning I recived a messge saying that my check-out hour is 08:00 and not 11:00 (as written in BOOKING. Com). We left in a hurry. I discoved afterwards that the service that performed our Check-in set our Check-out time to 08:00 by default.
The room was ok with nothing to special to add. Our expiriance was complitly ruined by those issues I mentined.

​I highly recommend Bob W Mitte for a professional and comfortable stay in Berlin. The location is unbeatable for mobility and sightseeing. The entire process, especially the digital check-in, was smooth and efficient. The room comfort was superb, and the support staff was always available. The chat service provides exceptionally fast and timely assistance for any needs or questions. As a side note, the proximity to the delightful Yada Yada restaurant adds great value to the stay.

Every detail was very satisfying! First it seems simple, but I got to know there’s everything I need there. I could tell the team put so much care. Even though I didn’t meet the staff, I could feel they are always there to help us.
Perfect location, abundant sunshine, cleaning, great mattress, laundry room and luggage room, effort for sustainablility etc. I liked everything. It was the best accomodation!

Loved the self service option to the apartment. Having our own facilities meant we could save money and make our own food if we wanted to. The contact by the virtual support was great and we loved using the hire bike option to explore the city. Everything was made easy for us. Rooms were well provided for, Neat and clean and loved the historical details. Location to restaurants, public transport and Berlin landmarks was excellent 👌

The worst Bob W I've been to.
1. The shower doors wouldn't close. The only way to take a shower was to hold the doors to ensure water didn't leave the shower. Also, you couldn't have the water full blast as the drain couldn't cope.
2. The room was completely different to the one we booked. After initial confusion regarding the room name, I still informed Bob W that even the name that does match — the room looked different. Online the room was finished to a nice standard, and made best use of the room. In reality, it had stairs leading up to the bed which wasted any space the room was meant to have — creating a tiny nook to move around. The room looked very run down and has a gap where the fridge was — a hotel room in today's world should at least have a mini fridge in my opinion.
The towel was dirty prior to use, and the bedsheets had clearly not been changed since the last use.
(3) The room at the end of the corridor was really bizarre. Open the entire time with explict noises being heard on multiple occasions. It made us feel very uncomfortable.
4. It had nothing inside you could want. No mini fridge, the iron leaked water, and there wasn't even Instax to use the camera. Also, there is no co-working space so if you can't even work in the hotel as there's no much space to work — only if there is 1 of you then it's fine.
The price of this hotel is the same as much better options in the area.

Everything was clean and the bed was super comfy.
My questions were fastly answered and the person I talked to was really really nice.
The location was good and very easy to find.
Figuring out how to get into your apartment was also easy.
I would definitely recommend and would stay there again.

Great accommodation and fascinating central location. Rooms were clean and quiet with real opening windows (a big plus for me). Two minor niggles — an Instax instant camera was provided, but no film, and only 4 coffee pods were provided. If, like us, you are staying for a few days, be sure to bring pods of your own. Otherwise a real gem of a hotel.

Although an instant camera was provided, there was no film. A little disappointment in an otherwise great stay.

We only needed somewhere to sleep, shower and breakfast, so this was almost perfect. The bathroom mirror was set back from the basin, so shaving was guesswork, and the bed was close to the wall, so no nightstand and no getting in from the side. However, it's clean, comfortable and fery well located — 2 minutes from 2 subway stations with shops and cafes on the doorstep. Would highly recommend.

Really good value for money. The online service team is INCREDIBLE. Super responsive, helpful, friendly. I ended up staying in 2 rooms and both were cleaned really well. Location is good, walkable to 3 ubahn or sbahn stations. The neighbourhood itself doesn't have much going on so you have to venture out for things, but it felt safe at night which was important as a solo traveller. The building itself being old has its downsides, you can hear everything your neighbours do. Weirdly when the windows are closed you can't hear a thing on the street outside so the soundproofing there is great. The hot water takes a long time and the showers are tiny. For the responsiveness of the online team alone, I will check out Bobs in other cities for sure. View from a room 💖

Great, bright, airy and clean apartment with all the facilities we needed and attentive customer service.
We loved that there was a free luggage room we could use prior to check in and after check out.
Accessing the rooms via the app/ guest area was easy once we figured it out and we actually thought it was a clever idea...you do need Internet connection for it work.
The area is quiet, and there is a shop quite close by for supplies and we went to Spree Fumee a restaurant 4 mins away on a boat that was brilliant and busy.
Highly recommend we would definitely stay in another Bob W apartment.

What a delightful place to stay. No visible staff, yet a very welcoming vibe.
The room feels like a second home. The location is perfect, right between the U8 and U2 lines and close to great clubs.
Definitely coming back next time!

Hotel has an excellent location. Digital system works really well and rooms are clean and nice. I hava stayed in this hotel twice and I have been really happy. I spent this time New Year in Berlin and hotel was as fantastic as city itself. Two metro stations really close and one train station around 700 meters from the hotel.

I had a really good time here. The rooms were clean and it was close to many cafes, a Christmas market, and shops. It is also located next to the train station to take you to the airport.

Great place to stay, there is a parking lot, a metro station nearby, and small markets for groceries. The hotel keyless system is good and easy to use.
