Worst hotel ever! We have a hotel Room Were the power went Down all the time, so nothing work. A man who work there Said we Will get our money back, but when we come Down to tjek out a new man was there and we get nothing from him! Stay away from this place! I Will never recomand it!

I should have read the reviews about this hotel before I booked… because there is absolutely no air-conditioning in the hotel. It was a hot couple of days in Berlin and after a full day of traveling, all we wanted was a cold room and rest. This was impossible. We asked the front desk if the air-conditioning was working and they said it was — — and came to the room to insist it was working. If you read lots of reviews here, you will see this is FALSE. We asked for a fan and there was none available. We had to take cold showers throughout the night in order to cool down and sleep. The staff did nothing to compensate for the lack of air-conditioning. So again, please do not book this hotel if you are looking for air-conditioning because this hotel is hotter than the Egyptian desert in July. Now, while we were upset with the situation, others who don't need air-conditioning will love this hotel. For us, it was right in the center of the bars and clubs. There are about 30 gay bars and clubs within walking distance. The hotel has a nice jacuzzi on the roof and we were the only ones wearing swim trunks, so beware that many hotel guests prefer to be naked. PROS:

I like staying here because of its vicinity to everything but this time I’m very disappointed with the Hotel and Staff. Since we got to our room we haven’t had TV Channels and the staffs not helpful. AC doesn’t work most of the time. And for the High Price it’s just unacceptable. Wrote a letter to Corporate to see if that would help. Let’s wait n see. Careful with Axel as I found Price Gouging on both their page and Booking. Com.

Booked hotel with Friends I was put into a tiny room whilst paying more even though these were all booked together. The bed I booked was advertised as queen and clearly a double bed. It feels incredibly uncomfortable. Staff arguing telling me I was lying about the booking was the worst thing telling me I’m paying more then my friends or that we booked on the same day was actually the worst thing he literally argued saying I was wrong looked it up then he was wrong but refused to apologise I could deal with the situation if he was somewhat polite but his attitude was beyond inappropriate.

Staff at this hotel were great and nothing too much trouble. Will be back.

Had great stay here, the room was lovely as was the Hotel in general. Great location close to bars with great transport links. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly in particular Zack who gave us a complimentary room upgrade. Highly recommended and will be back!

Great hotel located in the heart of Gay Village. Food & service great but no kettle!

This was my third stay at Axel Berlin and I am a happy return customer. I love where the hotel is located, it is so well designed and maintained, and even though I found new faces at your reception desk, everyone was so friendly, professional and efficient. I want to single out John and Thomasz at Reception and Ana in Housekeeping for their friendly professionalism and for making me feel so welcome at Axel. If I return to Berlin, Axel will be my first choice.

We very much enjoyed the stay at the property. It is located in the gay district, and within walking distance of some of Berlin's main historical monuments. Although the label 'Adults Only' may suggest poor cleanliness; Instead, the structure proved to be in accordance with normal uningenious standards and customer care. Not only that, it is so appreciable the absence of children or minors around the hotel. The attendants of the plan were friendly and helpful.
The spa area has; a fitness area, a sauna and the steam room, but only one small Jacuzzi.

First time at Axel. Thought I would give it a try. Big mistake. Run down property. Poorly executed rooms. Wellness center is a joke. Really any average hotel chain in Berlin provides a better experience. Only good thing is the location but that's not worth the compromises.

Great location, good views from the rooms! Hotel is dark (black painted walls and tiles, limited spot lighting in the rooms), which goes along with their “sexy” theme, but in the bathroom sometimes you need some more light. Very little bathroom counter space and few (2) hooks to hang towels or other clothing. Shower in the Jr Suite was designed for looks and unfortunately is not very functional — when you take a shower the water sprays outside the shower and make a huge puddle in the middle of the bathroom. It’s a good hotel, as long as you realize it’s all about the male sex appeal theme.

Great location, located in the Gay Area. Bars, Shops and other points of interested are in walking range. Easy to meet people. I do always enjoy the Spa area. I can recommend double beds, if you have the chance ask for it.

Unfortunately, as it often happens in Europe — everything that is connected with gays is a lot of fraud. I did not use the mini-bar, but the hotel charge my credit card for 8 € for a bottle of wine after 6 hours after check-out. Well, is that reason when you arrive ask them to remove the mini-bar. You can be given a room where the cleaning lady did not check the mini-bar and all that there is not enough the hotel is stealing from your credit card. Can the cleaners steal? Are they drunkards?! It is very sad: the boy at the reception John Alexander Lopez smiles beautifully, but can not solve the problem. The hotel and my room were dirty. Location, breakfast — Ok. Because in the hotel unsuccessful staff and possibly steal in the rooms by staff — I cannot recommend it and next time I will choose another hotel.

Lifehack in Berlin. If there are problems with the settlement and all the hotels are overcrowded — include a sense of humor, adequateness and go here, even if you are not LGBT. The main thing is to stock up on your wife :) Here, my wife and I — traditional orientation and felt there to rest. There are no slobs, clean, stylish, great wai fai, breakfast is class. Everyone is friendly, smiling in the heart of Berlin. Nearby there is a parking lot 24x7. The highest score — guys are good! Recommend!

Great location, super close to the metro and fun local bars. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were very clean. Plus the gym upstairs actually has free weights and a bench press! A nice surprise for a hotel. I would definitely stay again.

I’m straight, but this was a very nice 4-day business stay in a hotel with pretty good amenities. Modern, clean room; silent; good mattress; *fast* Wi-Fi and a pretty decent workout area and equipment. Didn’t try the sauna though as the city itself provides this feature right now. A perfect stay.

1. I had to change 10 time my room key within 15 hours of my arriving to the hotel. At the end the best solution was to change my room. 2. The telephone in my room wasn't working. 3. I called the reception from my mobile phone to asked them to communicate me to the restaurant, the person at the phone told me they are not answering the phone and that I should go to the restaurant and ask for my food meaning the "room service". 4. They never changed my dirty bed cheats, they only made the bed. 5. There was an annoying sound in the room. I couldn't sleep. …

Not bad… not very big room, but huge shower… nice little relaxation area on the top floor with sauna, Turkish bath, outdoor Jacuzzi and gym! Nice and helpful staff.

I loved the hotel! The most friendly staff possible and super clean! Ross is an incredible man who is at reception, so welcoming and friendly and so happy to help!

In short: rooms and breakfast can only partially compensate for the remaining shortcomings, some of which are serious, and that is a pity! You can make more of it…

Hotel has a very good location to the busy scene of the beautiful mountain area. Otherwise many sights can be reached by a good walk. Staff is friendly and helpful, especially in the morning we noticed the staff very accommodating. The sharing of the room is getting used to, a huge share of the room has the shower;-). In addition, the toilet is separated from the rest of the room by a sliding door that cannot be closed. Unfortunately it was on the 6th floor, despite air conditioning in the room, too warm and not well ventilated. We had to keep the balcony door open for a while, which didn't bother us because the room was a quiet courtyard. Despite the little things we liked and will certainly come back!

Spectacular. My husband and I were extremely satisfied with services, staff, rooms. Etc. I recommend 100%. Every couple Q want to spend a few days quiet. Here's the prefect site. No scandal or children Q run and scream or people d a certain age Q many things can annoy you. All those things we can find in a mixed hotel. They don't exist here.

Excellent hotel and amenities. Staff friendly and helpful. Wi-Fi service was great, only wish Hot Tub would have worked better (was warm but did not bubble well) Location perfect.

The hotel is a few blocks from the subway station, in a nice and quiet area. Keep in mind this hotel is catered to homosexual clientele, so if you're straight just ignore the escort ads everywhere with the half naked men feeling each other up. For us it was just a place to shower and sleep for 2 nights so it wasn't a big deal. The showers have fully transparent glass walls, so there's no privacy when you to take a shower. Which can be pretty inconvenient if you're traveling with someone other than your significant other. The corridors had a weird smell as well as the elevator. The room wasn't so bad except for the toilet area which also had a strong weird smell. The double bed is actually two single beds pushed together (which is common in many hotels in Germany). Even though the room was cleaned it was still pretty dusty and didn't feel very clean. It was a decent price and for a quick stay it's not bad.

Well in general some small elements deserve to be better kept general maintenance and maintenance (safe, shower a little broken etc. ) dust in the room, approximate housekeeping but pleasant stay and good hotel QD meme.

A very nice and modern hotel with good service. Prices are local and suitable for the standard. Metro station Wittenberg Square is reached with luggage in 2 minutes (since 2 pedestrian traffic lights are to cross:-) )

Very quiet, staff friendly and effort. Despite double room only one bathrobe the second was brought to the room upon request, which was defective (should have been noticed). The room itself was appealing except for black paint residues on the sink, a glued air conditioning which was quite noisy, non-distant tape after painting, defective light on the bed and ice smoothness at the whirlpool.

Central location… easily accessible… stylish… original room design… Keyword bathtub… Room size clear… Team friendly… The music that sounds out of the speakers was too loud… clanged… there was the 2Axel… also Berlin better… but not so good.

Up until the point at which I checked out, I had had a very nice experience and impression of Axel Hotel. However, one particular staff member was extremely rude to me on departure, which makes me feel obliged to make her an integral part of an upcoming feature piece on Berlin. The night before I left, I requested a late check-out from a staff member on reception. He informed me that it would be 10e per hour up to 4pm. I was leaving at 2pm, so had no issue with paying the extra 20e. He further informed me that he would be at the hotel at that time, but that he would place a note on my account on the system to notify any other person in the hotel that I had requested this. When I arrived at reception for check-out, I was greeted by an abrupt, aggressive and absolutely unprofessional young woman who rudely implied me that I was 'late' and that I was supposed to have checked out 2 hours ago. When I politely informed her of my actions the previous night, she proceeded to tell me that it was not marked on the system, much to my surprise. She demanded that I provide my credit card for the surplus payment, but as a result of her demeanor and manner, I politely refused and told her to charge the credit card that I had used for 'security purposes' upon check-in. Interestingly, this young woman decided to overcharge me the stated 20e per hour rate, and took the liberty of charging 30e… Overall, I enjoyed the hotel, it's location and it's atmosphere.

It used to be cool. Now totally rocked off and inhabited.

Very bad experience: I have faiybune reservation hard booking by paying more expensive the option of payment on the spot and once arrival JA reception I learn that I have already been debited of my entire stay, i. E. €818 not planned.
Plus the air conditioning made a huge noise constantly with a bonus a little phone ringing in the climate triggering every 10min. I learned the next day that the reception knew this problem and that despite that the room my summer Given.
Finally a long wait when checking in 45min.

Basically, there's little to complain about. In the hotel room 2 lamps did not work, the repair was announced, but is not done during the stay. It has not bothered further. There was a loose control on the bathtub, so you could take it off. In the area of the toilet there were lime deposits on the ground in the corners (which can be seen immediately on a black surface, but it was more than just "a bit") the fan in the toilet brought the drywall construction into swing, the resulting deep noise was quite Loud.
The bed was excellent, a very good mattress that helped me to get a pleasant sleep. No sign of wear, no "hollow" positively I must also highlight the friendliness of all the staff and the friendly atmosphere throughout the hotel.
The breakfast I rated was "satisfying", it offered little variety (as far as I can tell in 2 days) and I had the impression that much was on the buffet, e. G. The cold cuts, ware from the grocery store. The coffee, however, was excellent and the service here was also very friendly.
I think Axel is a recommendable hotel, I will certainly come back and try the second Berlin location once.

I am a gay man who travels the world with my job and for leisure. Over the past 30 years I have stayed at many gay hotels, motels and ships! I feel that Axel Berlin could be a lot better and more friendly. The atmosphere of the hotel is quite cold and it is not warm. The room was excellent, the sauna/spa very good indeed, but there was no warmth to the hotel. The security needs a big overview. There needs to be better checks on some of the people who just walk of the street to cruise the corridors! In many other countries the hotels have better security and I feel Axel Berlin needs to be better.

I come back to Axel for many years. The main attraction is the whirlpool. It's a pity the care hangs. Also in the rooms there are always a few feet to glue or missing. There's been a shortage here for years. It also had a smell of mildew in the last room. Otherwise everything is pleasant for me and I like to be there. Very good area for the gay exit.

Soon I will book I have spoken very well.

Very good room. Clean and comfortable bed. Could have a bit more space. Spa and gym are very good. Breakfast service could be better and the layout slightly different. Coffee needs a serious look at amd should be included in the price.

Stayed here for nearly 3 weeks on my last trip to Berlin. Very close to the Schoenberg gay neighbourhood, the shopping district, transit, resturants, zoo, aquarium, etc. It's in a great central location. I didn't make use of the Spa facilities very much — but they were nice, and liked that they were available. The morning breakfast was usually pretty good, and a nice way to fuel up for the day before going out to explore the city. At times room service seemed to happen a little later in the day than expected, but generally speaking they did a good job, and the staff was friendly / informative.

Axel Hotel Berlin, is defiantly the place to stay if you are interested in visiting the beautiful KaDeWe, the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, the Berlin Zoo, Aquarium Berlin and or attending many of the night clubs in the area. The Axel Berlin has a fantastic and comfortable gym and spa area. The rooms are quaint and very nicely appointed but the bed was a bit hard. The staff are all very accommodating and polite. The Restaurant is Georgian and the cuisine is very interesting. A bit expensive but at least its something different.

Super comfortable, it's gay friendly so if you are person two it's not a place you want to go. You can see a lot of things. Ja ja How I do not care and I fall very well I can say that all are superior attentive. The service is simple the rooms very comfortable, spacious and clean I loved the bathroom.

I’ve stayed here many times and it’s an adequate hotel. It’s a bit dated and dark but the location, for me, makes up for that. I’ve marked it down on this occasion though as I noticed an extra charge on my credit card a few days after I had left. I queried this on their usual email address but got no answer. I emailed the manager and was told it was a minibar charge and was given a copy of their records. However, I hadn’t used anything from the minibar. No refund has been offered. I have one more booking with them which I’ll keep, as it’s for New Year and too late to get somewhere else, but I probably won’t stay there again after that as I feel my trust has gone.

Staff was great. Breakfast was awesome! Totally worth adding for the price. There was a general unidentifiable smell in the room and in the building… You would only notice it coming into the room or on a floor… Overall great place, not just for the gay community, but if you are easily offended know that all or most of the displayed art is homosexual in nature.

Hotel for homosexuals and heterofriendly. The rooms are modern and very morbid. The view of the bathroom through the red crystal is very erotic and exciting to let see the other tenants, if you want, what is cooked in the room. In reception there are several languages spoken and they are very attentive. Overall the hotel is dark but it gives a certain halo of mystery although it makes it look dirty. During my stay there was the option of joining the hotel network to get in touch with the rest of the tenants. The bar serves its purpose as well as the breakfast service. Ideal to go alone. Bored you will never be, there will always be someone wishing to encourage you the night.

I didn't understand why there were two duvets for a double bed which made an opening in the middle of the bed.
For this hotel category A small bottle of welcome water would have been appreciated as the tap water is not clear but slightly yellow. In the mini bar there was only sparkling water.
The garment holder is very high to hang his belongings.
In the shower it would be convenient to have something to put your shower gel or shampoo because you are forced to put them on the ground when you wash.
Apart from these small details, the staff were very nice, we had a nice stay.

The lobby: * It was some what tired and needs renovation. * Same goes for seating in the lobby and all other things in it. The room I stayed in: * It was some what tired had damage walls/roof needed a total renovation to bring it up to standard of new TOW hotel by Axel. * The bed's was way to hard and made me wake up 2 to 3 times when I tried to sleep. Staff: (The staff at this hotel is complex) Reception staff day time: Was a mix of one who you feel like trying to put opp a wall between you and him, a new girl who don't have to confident to make a decision on her own and that seen to be some what shy because of this and the last on I only show once he seem to be a little cool. Summery Reception staff day time: They do help you with what you need help so no problem there. But there personalities need some work to make the costumer feel like they are welcome and in good hands. Sins thy are the on the costumer has the contact with if something should come up this is in-portent. Reception staff: Night time: It was the same guy every night, this guy personality is more worm he makes you feel like you are in good hands and at home at the hotel and he show confides in the right ways sadly for this hotel I think they are going to lose on of the best staff they could have in the repression sins he seem to be moving on tho bigger things.

Fab hotel even though I didn't know much about it, brilliant location for everything and away from all the hussle. Very personal theme, lovely room deco, gym spa and Jacuzzi are brilliant just hope we didn't offend anyone as it's clearly gay hotel so some people where shocked about seeing husband and wife. The staff on night shift were amazing couldn't do more for you. The only 2 negative things are luck of coffee and kettle in the room (just a personal thing as we do like coffee in bed in the morning) and the fact that the person on reception made a big fuss about the check in when we arrived at 12.45 and couldn't check in until 13.00 so we had to wait for 15 min even thought the room was ready (just didn't like the way we were spoken to knowing it wasn't busy). Overall, lovely hotel with great facilities and if I will come back I will stay there again and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to friends.

A little better information about the individual facilities in the hotel would have been helpful by the staff. Where is there breakfast, where is the sauna etc.

Sorry — but the bar was closed for renovation… our first room smelled — so we were upgraded (which was nice) — but overall I felt there was no character to the hotel. The breakfast room was part of some other restaurant… the place felt a bit tired. We put out the 'please clean my room' sign and returned at 5.00 to find it not made up and had to wait another hour… Maybe it is more fun in the summer.

The room was too small. For the price it was lacking cleanliness. Lichtinstellation too dark. Possibilities of storing garments more than defective. Defective shower. I was very disappointed because I expected a lot more luxury and service for the money.

The room was not really clean, the cleaning staff rather alienating. The volume in the neighbouring room was also noisy during the week. The breakfast was ok but the cleanliness in the room left to be desired.
There is no closet or storage for the suitcase.

Suggestion: The whirlpool should be a little warmer.
The light in the rooms could be brighter.
Towels and bathrobes in different colours would reduce the likelihood of confusion in the spa area.
Overall but unrestricted recommendation for this hotel. I've been there a lot. Location, service, facilities and cleanliness are good.

The bed felt the springs, the tub was falling all, the water taenias Q wait for it to fill to re-pull the chain, one day I did not make the room I found everything as I left I requested towels that never arrived.

Very stylish hotel in the center, in the middle of a week of inexpensive rooms.

Unacceptable to do the same rates while the spa is not open. I asked for the Non smoking Room reservation. I had a room that smelled very bad. Important smell of tobacco. On my arrival after 22h 30. Waiting outside the door for the receptionist to open.

Reception Staff make you feel not welcome. No smiles no greetings. I told one of the front desk staff that my AC is not working, he said open the window! How charming is that. The carpet in my room is filthy and the bathroom is too dark to shave. Also, there’s no tea and coffee maker or at least electric kettle in the room.

The rooms are too dark. The bathrooms are awkward, limited space for toiletries, shower spills water on floor, and dim lighting. The cellphone charger by the bed did not work. The Wi-Fi was buggy — had to disconnect and reconnect a few times to get it to work. Breakfast was nice, complete and the staff that served it were friendly. The gym was good with a nice selection of equipment. I liked the front desk staff — but they did not explain about where breakfast was served, where the gym and spa were. Once they were asked they were helpful. Overall, I would recommend with a few caveats as mentioned.

Breakfast was amazing. The staff were excellent. The room will absolutely amaze you. Definitely makes you feel like you are in Berlin. Also I enjoy the diversity here.

Exceptional service. Everything including the pool and jacuzzi were in top notch condition. Even a masseur on property with very reasonable rates. The bar was so much fun and the bartender Orestes was on point. Very attentive to our needs. And great on the eyes! We came down every evening. I highly recommend this hotel to any gay person. Close to everything. And remember, they are hetro friendly so bring your straight friends. What a great vacation in Berlin.

I was bitten by a bedbug. I produced evidence to the front desk. This is a serious concern. I was moved to another room — no further problems (but still a big worry — would I be bitten again? was my luggage safe? etc. ) My room was sometimes not cleaned when I returned after lunch — I always notified the maid personally that it was ready for cleaning when I went out at 9:00 — so this was a disappointment. Hot tub was being repaired most days of my stay. The front desk staff were very courteous and helpful. Room and linens were comfortable. Location was great. Wi-Fi service was easy to use and high speed.

It's a good location on the hotel in the gay neighborhood. The hotel however is quite badly planned. You'll find a big closed bar when you arrive back to your room after a day out in Berlin — so no drinks before dinner! The spa area is on the top floor, but no drinks allowed. I find this strange since I enjoy having a drink by the pool. There's no atmosphereric place to sit down in, like a chill hotel lobby. Oh, and bring your own madras. The beds lacks the top madras — you'll have to get used sleeping directly on metal springs. It's a little hard the first nights. Didn't try the breakfast — there are several nice places around to go to.

During my 3-day stay, the jacuzzi was not working well (no bubbling). It was like a mini pool. That's too bad!

I cannot recommend this hotel enough, particularly for those looking for a gay hotel or a child free hotel (it's 18 and over only). The hotel is in the heart of the gay district, close to lots of bars, restaurants and other amenities like gay shops and cinemas. The hotel itself is simply decorated with excellent service, a very nice bar and a simple but very nice gym and wellness centre. Personally I recommend upgrading to a junior suite if you can afford it, the small difference in price is well worth the extra space and the great bathroom you get. If you really want to treat yourself then get the breakfast in bed option, heaven!

Hi everyone, I do actually never leave any comments but this time I have to because the hotel is top notch. I feel bad for all the negativ comments customers are leaving because my friend and I had such a wonderful time. The spa has just been refurbished and we enjoyed spending some time there chatting with other guests in the hot tub and on the roof top as well. Yes some of the guys have casual sex and so what. You are in Berlin, a city that is well known for its wild parties and its friendliness, I think this is awesome. The staff there was professional and friendly, whenever you ask for a service they will help you out. Breakfast is tasty with so many choices you actually have to restrain yourself not to eat too much otherwise you won't be able to eat the rest of the day. The hotel was very quiet, the bedroom suite was great, we would have new towels and robes all the time. Very clean too and the bed was so comfortable, loved it, so big! I wish I stayed longer. Thank you to the team for this very pleasant and unforgettable stay! A French and a Canadian :)

What a disappointment this hotel has become. I have stayed here before a few years ago (2014) and was fantastic. I have also stayed in Axel Barcelona, Madrid and Ibiza, so naturally booked Axel again when I came back to Berlin this week. Wow… what a difference two years makes. 1. On checking and after paying top dollar for the room, I find out the spa is closed for renovations. No mention of this on booking or advised prior to checkin, but told you can use the sister hotel… 10-15mins away. Handy with the 2 days of pouring rain we have. 2. Speaking of rain, the place is filling apart and leaking like a sieve with the last 2 days of rain. The elevator has buckets collecting the water, tiled floors are all wet and multiple rooms and hallways are leaking and soaked with water. 3. The much loved restaurant 'Burger Mary's' is gone and now just a crappy cheap restaurant which is over priced and understaffed, much like the rest of the hotel. The breakfast quality (again for th money I'm paying) is appalling and much below the previous standard. 4. Also upon checking in I'm told my room isn't available as yet and was very small and suggested if I pay €120 more for the 6 nights I could have the suite which was available no and more comfortable. Without realising the issues with this hotel I reluctantly agreed and now regretting that decision as I'm now paying an absorbent price for this very poorly run and kept hotel.

I come every year. I booked it in November. Between November and January, I was not warned that the Sauna/Jacuzzi/Hammam as well as the sports room was unavailable. Still, I sent an email a week before leaving to ask for a room on the 6th floor with small balcony, like last time. No answer. I took my sports stuff for nothing and got encumbered unnecessarily. I've been there several times at the reception. I have not had any commercial gestures or excuses. I come every year for years. I'm not coming back.

My partner and I stayed at your Berlin hotel from 27th December till 1st January — a trip which we had been looking forward to all year, but we are very disappointed.
The hotel was not what we were expecting — the open plan bathroom caused the bedroom area to smell and wasn't very clean. The so-called door to the toilet was not fitted correctly so there was no privacy.
The headboard was merely a shelf so the pillows disappeared into it when we were trying to sleep. When we asked at reception for another pillow we were told "tomorrow! "
Also the fire you had in the well center Could of least informed people and you Could still smell fire in hotel
Most of all, we were not happy with people on reception. They were not helpful at all and were quite rude. We found this hotel to be sub-standard, over — priced and we will
never recommend Axel hotel to anyone. Very disappointing!

Unacceptable to do the same rates while the spa is not open. I asked for the Non smoking Room reservation. I had a room that smelled very bad. Important smell of tobacco. On my arrival after 22h 30. Waiting outside the door for the receptionist to open.

Despite that some people have bad experience with the hotel, this was my second visit and it was as good as the first one. Fair enough that if you open the window that it is noisy but hey, you are in the middle of the town. Close by the shopping area of Berlin, nice restaurant, comfortable room, excellent bad, nice bubble bath, all small things for the personal care, internet, TV, roof terrace, Jacuzzi, and excellent breakfast. Definitely a recommendation worth.

Not awesome and not bad. I'll definitely give them a go again to see if things have improved a little. Roof top is lovely and staff (Spanish) are flirty — I love that. And restaurant staff are cute and nice too. Reason for 3 star's they forgot to clean my room twice — communication mix up they say.

I had a great stayed at the hotel from long journey trip. Staff upon arrival was great and they did fast checkin. The room I got was comfortable and clean. Thanks to Marco (evening shift staff) as a helpful and resourceful that help me with directions and places to visit. One suggestion from me to the hotel is that the hotel should have a place to store guest's luggage. Some of guests chose Berlin as a hub to travel to some other destinations for a couples of days and then return to Berlin again. I think the hotel should allow guests to leave one luggage there at some point. Overall, everything is great and I highly recommended you to stay at Axel.

Breakfast is still the problem at Axel Berlin. It is positively the worst breakfast experience of any hotel I know. I thought after the change from Hamburger Mary's to Juniper it might improve, but if anything it has just got worse. I usually try to eat breakfast outside the hotel, although it is less convenient. The restaurant atmosphere itself is fine: the food and drink offering anything but! I am sure if you invested in the breakfast experience, not only would your hotel guests be happier, but you could attract breakfast eaters from outside. At present I would be embarrassed to invite my friends to breakfast with me at the hotel.

Excellent modern and clean structure dedicated mainly to a gay clientele, but not only. The location is very convenient to the Metro. Very friendly staff, rich and varied breakfast and small but sufficient wellness area (to try the outdoor Jacuzzi with panoramic view! ). Great value for money.

Hotel anonymous without love to detail. Many little things added up for our two-day stay to a negative general impression:
-Breakfast buffet was not replenished (there was at all cups, cutlery, egg rolls, cold cuts)
-Air conditioning in the rooms with great background noise (had to be disconnected to sleep)
-Heating in the room broken
-Kitchen smell from the connected Burger restaurant in the evening on all floors of the hotel rooms
-Travelling with friends reported fecal odors from the toilet and basin
-High mini bar prices
-Small rooms with little storage space (only garment racks on the bedside table)
-Bathrobes were missing
-Hotels only an employee worked at the reception desk of the 87 rooms, what in particular in the

-A few staff had a total demotivated and disinterested
On the price level, there are much better alternatives in Berlin. We believe that a two-star hotel instead of the 4 star fixed itself through the hotel.

I had the TIME of my life in this perfectly located hotel in the HEART of the Gayborhood of Berlin. DEF check out the 7th flr. Spa. And bring lube.

A bit scared by the Unhoefflichkeit of the imaginary waiter at breakfast. No good morning. Only the room number is interesting for him. He responds only in view of a Muskelbeladenen man. There seems nothing's left for brain. The soil is verklext with honey. The waiter is hinuebergelaufen several times without noticing it. Regarding the brain — level, not very high I think. Is it possible to make hotel staff which is formed for a 4Stern? The gentleman who has his morning ritual (coffee and cigarette on the terrace), I ask to close the outside door as customers at the table, who like to want it with far more than 13 degrees breakfasts. I believe he belongs to the staff. Vonwegen "savoir faire", not entirely on the level. I ask the Directorate to mount a camera to the whole time to movies. The staff at the entrance is coached by an elegant gentleman "Stefan". This gentleman is to be the client feel in the right place. Really super. The Nachtpersonnal food and friendly. Regarding the room to noisy — side of the road, the pillow to limp and comic synthetically — had long time headaches. The sewer is questionable. The product is wrong or the lines are clogged. The Internet connection is not the best.

Gay: Yes. Mediocre: I don't agree. Room size: correct. Bed size: correct. Size of the shower: correct (we spend two and there are mirrors on part and on the other, fun! ). Toilet: clean, but, a smell that stings the eyes and nose, you have to change the cleaning product or review the plumbing, unpleasant, the smell, of course. Avoid the rooms on the side of the road, they are noisy. Personal day: Stefan is a very nice person, smiling and who speak more than two languages. Thanks to employ at least 4 languages speaking people (french, of course, German, obviously, English, obviously, Spanish, of course) people like Stefan (friendly, pleasant and smiling) the reception is your storefront, put care. Morning: thanks of all the server (a bearded Brown, 1 m 70 about a sufficient air) so that it is smiling, friendly and he knows say, at least "Guten Tag" because I had the uncomfortable impression that he was doing his job to heart. And he was shaking the air. The doors to the patio does not close automatically and remains ajar (13 degree in October at breakfast it's unpleasant). Thank you, to the great bearded man who is smoking a cigarette and drinking his coffee, to correctly close the door or then remove them and put curtains in place (LOL). It's a good thing the choice of buffet is OK. Wi — Fi: need to improve reception in the rooms because it is not very good.
