Location is fantastic for exploring with train and trans on the doorstep.

Room was very clean and quiet, the staff was very friendly. Breakfast buffet was also top, great selection and everything fresh. We didn't have to suspend it and like to come back.

Great hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was a good feed with plenty of options. Good location with easy links to Berlin centre Alexanderplatz. Professional staff where when the fire alarm went off (false alarm) they quickly and efficiently got us all out of the hotel. Would happily stay there again. Thanks to all the team!

The rooms were small, bathrooms were decent. Air conditioning was poor, especially in the rooms facing the street. We had to get the room changed. Train station at walking distance. The location is very quiet and laid back.

I was in a standard room, it's clean but very basic yet the hotel is a 4 star! No mini fridge (it was very hot outside and being able to put bottles of water in the fridge would be a plus! ), no safe.
Hotel ideally placed:
. Tram 2 in front
. Tram 12 to a few meters
. Many shops, coffee shops, convenience stores nearby
. Station S Bahn Prenzlauer at 400m.

Hotels in the non-central area but well connected to the center with tram (stopped exactly in front) and S-Bahn (10 minutes).
The rooms are spacious enough but would need a refreshment: the hotel has a few years and you see it. The bathroom instead is great, clean and wide, too bad just for showering with curtain instead of glass.
Breakfast with little sweet choice (no brioche, only toast and waffles), probably not worth the expense. During the week you can buy water and drinks in the shop next to the entrance at much more acceptable prices than you find in hotels and clubs in the city.

Nice and clean spacious rooms. Quiet although the hotel is located on a busy street. The receptionists weren’t that friendly back then. Good Wi-Fi. Location is okay but walking to the main attractions is not of a very close distance.

On check in was told I needed to pay tourist tax when leave although I had paid on booking. When checking out wasn't mentioned. Air conditioning wasn't as good as it should be so was warm when 30* out. Continental breakfast was nice. Quiet, I was on top floor so took about 5 mins for shower to warm up. Very clean staff very friendly and helpful.

Very good and friendly staff. Location is good with a tram stop just outside the hotel. The room was clean and adequate in size. Value was good. Would definitely stay again.

I am very happy with the hotel. Very attentive and friendly staff. The only minus point is the very loud air conditioning in the room.

Good location to road-and S-Bahn as well as numerous fast-food facilities, restaurants and bars. Well-staffed and friendly reception. Good breakfast buffet in a pleasantly large room. Including scrambled eggs, coffee machine, juices and lots of fresh fruit. Attentive service. Single room and bathroom above average size. The road is very well soundproofed. Completely satisfied!

Smells like an old hotel. Staff friendly. The breakfast was good. Very quiet place. 10 minutes by tram to Alexanderplatz.

Comfortable, good location, excellent breakfast.

Convenient to the metro and to the surface railway. 4 Star Standard. Clean and essential. Well-soundproofed rooms. In 15 min You arrive at Alexanderplatz.

A touch off the beaten track but great transport links, train etc good value.

Hotel is very centrally located. Direct connection to the M2. Room facing courtyard are pleasantly quiet. Breakfast is served from 6.30 a. M. The rooms are clean and spacious. Cleanliness is the same as the specifications. The shower is unfortunately not constructed: drain and shower rod not well thought-out, glass separation with a cheap curtain added. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The choice of gin at the hotel bar is unfortunately very meager.

My second stay here. Offers everything that is important to me: clean room and bathroom, very friendly service. A good bed, kettle also there and, and. I can't judge the price, the company gets a different tariff.

Nice place, rooms really comfortable and cosy. There is a carpark under the ground with a very specific access — to park the car requires some attention. The amount of food could be bigger.

We were on site as conference guests and so I can only rate the helpful front desk and the coffee provided. Which were both perfectly fine.
The request to get a longer VGA cable to the provided Beamer could unfortunately not be met.
The meeting rooms are well-equipped and in the breaks the participants were provided with new drinks at the place.

Four stars because the staff is extremely accommodating. Breakfast not so dolly. The room was very clean. Parking spaces are a challenge.

Very friendly staff super kitchen until now always very very clean except for a two day housekeeping not one hundred percent but otherwise absolutely recommended.

Good lacation. Spacious and clean rooms. Good service anyway we were surprised by dramatically changed price (from 159€ to 240€) for the night (new years eve) without previoys notice. Therefore it wasn't consumer friendly approach.

The Hotel is very well connected. Room of sufficient size.

Money and valuables stolen during the absence from the locked hotel room. There was no help, you should go to the police. On the plus: room and bathroom were clean, the bed comfortable. But for understandable reasons for us: Never again!

Whilst Holiday Inn Berlin City centre east is one of the cheaper hotels in town, and solid budget hotel with a good standard, it is not in tourist area so you will need to take the train (s-bahn) or the tram into town, which takes about 30 minutes depending on where you are going. There is plenty of restaurants and coffee shops around the hotel if you want to try something different from the hotel and there is a Lidl grocery store across the road. The rooms are nice, modern and functional although not very much extra space. The bathrooms are well planned and functional. All in all a solid budget hotel albeit not very central.

The hotel is with good service and is also very centrally located to Berlin. The rooms are nicely decorated and well cleaned.

I like it as it is a nice and quiet hotel and also has very good connections to the center and you are there in ten minutes. The Wi-Fi goes from death and the customer service is excellent. The only downside is that the breakfast is somewhat expensive but there are cafes nearby.

The hotel is very good and the staff are very kind. Alexander Platz can be reached in 15 minutes. Parking costs €16 the night. There is nothing to complain about at the service, for breakfast I can not say anything, as we prefer to have a bit cheaper around the corner breakfast.

Rooms are fine. Big enough, with kettle supplied. Beds are OK, if a little hard. Air conditioning was poor — possibly switched off because it's October despite summer temperatures. Service is friendly.

Very well served by public transport. It was very nice and clean and quiet.

We chose based on location. The hotel is quite old, our room looked like it hasn't changed since the 90s. Definitely needs a revamp. We found the decor quite unsettling (weird masks hanging in the breakfast area?! ). Everything was kept clean though. Generally it was ok, but we expected more based on our previous stays with HI.

Staff – I got good impression both on emails and on the reception. But no score for the designer, he put the flushing button behind the toilet cover. Also no score for the management team. They sell breakfast as compulsory item for single occupied room but optional for double occupied room and that’s why I forgot to add the optional breakfast for the other 2 guests so we spent 5 Euro more for the 3 breakfast, totally 30 Euro. This is not very considerable on the hotel side. This is a kind of overcharging by complicating the stuffs for the customers. Facilities – Shower was terrible, you have to keep the water pressure low. When high, it will make a screeching sound like those in the bodysnatcher movies. Also, the shower head holder was broken in room 418. So you have to stand close to the wall to have both hands free while shower. No Chinese TV Channels in an International Chain Hotel in this international metropolis of the planet. Toilet design old and flawed, you have to use one hand to move the toilet cover as the flushing button was behind it! There was a blockage in the shower tray, and we managed to solve it by ourselves, which is the quickest option. Cleanliness – Gut. Comfort – No soap bar, no bottled shampoo. Environmental friendly, or an excuse for saving money. Also, it was so far away from the wash basin. This is unacceptable in a 4 stars hotel. Rediculous and outrageous.

We stayed here for few days while visiting Berlin. On the map it looks like it's far from city centre, but thanks to the tram (station is just in front of the hotel) or S-Bahn (5min walk) you can get to the centre in no time. Place is quite quiet, employees are kind and helpful. I recommend this place.

Small room but very comfortable bed and pillows. Quiet place is a plus. Holiday inn designs this hotel very quiet and calm. Room ver clean. No extra socket near bed for charging.

Good value for money in the central location in Prenzlauer at 6 stops from Alexander Platz.

Friendly staff, clean place, spacious rooms 7 stops from Alexander Platz, tram stops right in front of the entrance but does not feel for anything. The rooms are very good.

Here is on Hygiene and cleanliness one paid attention. The Breakfast leaves no wish unfulfilled. Friendly Staff! Noise sensitive guests, I absolutely recommend a room to the side of the book.

The stay in this hotel very good I liked, especially the service at breakfast was very helpful, fast, and friendly. The reception has greeted us warmly, you have almost felt at home. We were indeed critical at the beginning, because the hotel is part of a chain, but these prejudices are wasted in no time. We were very satisfied and will visit again.

Nice staff and rich Breakfast. Rooms on each case to the inner courtyard book. The rooms on the street side are too noisy.

Nice u bahn and s-bahn a 50métres staff friendly only catch the shower is a rate very low.

In this Hotel you are not welcome. The rooms are old and we still had no bathroom in which there is no mold stains were! No matter how many times you have been here as a guest was, it is and remains only a paying guest. For us, this is now the limit has been reached, we do not come again!

Great city centre position for reasonable rates.

We only had one bath towel for two people, mold in the bathroom and in the Evening there was lukewarm water without pressure in the shower. When we complained, there was not even a demand or Regret about the inconvenience. Another towel, there was unfortunately not thereafter. Terrible Hotel, definitely not 4 stars. Only the Breakfast was ok.
