Super nice staff, rich breakfast, 24 hour hotel bar.

We are the third time here in the Citylight and can really only recommend it. Great service, very friendly staff and whenever it comes down to a solution ready.

Unsuitable for bus drivers.

As a bus driver, I can only say that this hotel is a fallame. Due to the school classes that are housed here and the associated noise, it is actually impossible to sleep and to guarantee a safe ride the next day.
I think it's an aberration that neither the people in charge of the groups nor the staff are able to provide peace of mind.
A bus driver is dependent on a quiet sleep as he is supposed to bring the group entrusted to him safely from A to B.
Normally, as a bus driver, I could tell the group that due to lack of sleep I am not able to steer the bus safely. I can take the hotel with me in my own line as it has to ensure compliance with the rest periods.

I can't complain about the room and the facilities, but still only one star as the hotel is not suitable for bus drivers as I said.

The room that I stayed in was a decent size and very clean as well as that it was very well equipped. Breakfast and dinner was included in my stay I was very pleased with the food selection at breakfast with cold and hot options avalible in a buffet style the hot dinner on the nights I stayed were also good. would reccomend.

I visited Berlin with my little daughter. It was a memorable trip. The breakfast buffet was pretty nice and we got a late check late. The people at the reception were kind and helpful. A special mention to a lady receptionist, I forgot her name unfortunately. She was extremely kind and my daughter immediately took a liking to her. We lost our copies of reservation and she was kind enough to get another printed out. Yes, it is a bit far from major attractions but a few minutes walk will get one to the train and bus station. It is a good and safe bet for travellers with kids. (The kids will love the breakfast buffet for sure, I didn't have trouble making my little one finish her breakfast, which normally is a chore)

My room had a view right across a climbing park, so that was kind of fun to watch. Good amenities, everything you'd need, a decent breakfast. Stayed two nights, simply needed a place to sleep and it probided without any issues.

The rooms were really well equipped and comfortably fitted four people. The breakfast was good and balanced. The staff was kind and helpful. It was a little far away from some major attractions, but not too bad, you will just need to walk or order a taxi. Overall, for the price, this was a great hotel.

Good hotel for families. Breakfast is good and the connection to S and U-Bahn train is good. Very good value for money.

One of my favorite hotels, as offering a great breakfast, is located in a quiet location, not far from Gesundbrunnen. The rooms have regular and superior comfort. I recommend the second, as the comfort is above all, and overpayment is not so great. Service, Rechepshen, cleanliness-all at the level.

Nice receptionist, little bit of clinical bar. Good breakfast. Overall a nice stay. Parking spaces can be scarce.

We felt very comfortable in this hotel. In a few minutes you reach the train station well. The breakfast is very good for a 2 star hotel as well as the furnishing of the rooms. A disadvantage though was the location of our room on the top floor. Although we were there in early April, it was always hot and stuffy in our room.

Clean room, unfortunately little parking and in the immediate area unfortunately only fast food. Those who run a bit further can still find good localities. Directly opposite is the Indoorkleterparadies Magic Mountain.

Ras, super friendly staff, from the train station Gesundbrunnen 10 minutes to the center. Despite the students on vacation not even a sound! I'll be back.

Large and clean rooms, very friendly staff and a buffet breakfast that leaves nothing to be desired. Optimal connection to bus and train – wherever you want to go in Berlin, you can reach all destinations quickly. Recommended again and again.

Not much to do around the hotel, but rooms are spotless, well heated and very comfortable!

Everything is excellent. Clean rooms, modern new bathrooms, 24h reception times. I can only recommend it to anyone!

Family friendly, excellent when traveling with children. Very nice breakfasts! Close to the metro. Free parking.

Good: -Bedding was comfortable -Breakfast was okay Negative -No air-con so bathroom stuffy and the bedroom was very stuffy -One of the windows was broken -Noisy/Dodgy Area -Bunk beds so creaky we had to move the mattresses onto the floor -Dinner was uneatable and you couldn't tell what it was -Tap water tasted weird -It's a hostel -View of graffiti -Reception wasn't always manned -Laminated key card system was strange and time consuming -Wifi was too slow to use -Room wasn't properly cleaned — Dust -Not all the TV channels worked.

Functional room with basics, breakfast is manageable but dinner is inedible particularly bad for those with any sort of dietary requirements. Staff are not very hospitable and the window in our room was temperamental. Fine for a few cheap days but more of a hostel than a hotel.

This hotel seems to have fallen from the time. Some might be the backdrop of Mad Men. Conveniently located on the roadbed and fast road driveway, my room overlooks camper parking. It is a family room with double and bunk bed, with youth hostel charm. Privately, I would never descend here. The room is clean, you can't complain about it, but hip goes differently.

Great for families, really full breakfast, not far from public transport, a few metro stops from the centre of Berlin.

Nice clean hotel not expensive in Berlin. Good for business trip or family trip. Near to sport centre. Close to train and subway station. 2 stars in this case better than 3 stars somewhere else…

Nice and clean hotel near a major metro station, basic rooms (no air conditioning), a little noisy because of the highway. The breakfast is basic too.

No air — con. It was so hot at sleeping time. Also it was noiss from the car high way. We couldn't sleep so well.

Nice clean room, the hotel is right next to the underground so there's easy access to the city centre.

Checked in for 2 beds got surprised when we were upgraded to 6 beds for the same price! The breakfast is great and the service is better. The receptionist made sure that everything was as pleasant and comfortable.

Room was clean. There was always fresh towels. Breakfast, etc. All right at this stage. Staff was friendly from the psyche here but well looked. Goods there with my class to the final drive.

The hotel is easy to reach by public transport. The rooms inhabited by me was very clean and well equipped. The beds are comfortable, the shower is very spacious.
The staff is very friendly and obliging.
The prices at the bar are at a good level.
The breakfast is what you would expect in a hotel of this class.
I will be back to guest.

Very great and above all cheap hotel & accommodation 2 * standard okay. Very child friendly! Staff at all times is very nice, friendly and helpful. We were not the first time and will return again and again.

The Hotel has a very good connection to the underground and S-Bahn trains. In itself it is a good Hotel, the only Problem is the man in the Evening is busy trying to find a Parking place. As there is little to no returns. BeBestimmte people from the staff are quite unfriendly and come Cold over there.

I was with my Class for 5 days there. All in all was the stay okay. The bathroom was clean and the beds. What makes me personally upset was the unfriendly staff. I was already at Breakfast by a clerk goofy dressed why I the the lactose-free milk and take not the normal. Then she asked me if I lactose intolerant have. In my opinion, it has nothing to address. The gardener also totally unfriendly. The staff at the counter was friendly. Who, what, clean only for sleep addiction is in the citylight certainly not wrong. I personally would not like to be in the Hotel to go.

Great location, about 10 minutes from train and subway, just outside of the eco traffic zone. Clean room, free parking (but approx. 5-10 places). Breakfast also good but very few hot dishes. Free Wifi was working on the 2nd floor. Most important was the low price.

I was never in my whole life in a Hotel, in the I of unfriendly employees gedutzt was, and with such an aggressive tone. The woman at the Desk did not make the impression as if a hotel school visits! The next Time I book I prefer a room in a hostel.

Nice staff, clean rooms, delicious Breakfast and a good price — we have got more than expected. Happy again. For short-term optimal. The only Negative — the house itself is a bit noisy. You have just bad luck when the neighbors above very restless. And there is a car Parking area is not large, but we have had more luck.

Great budget hotel. Very clean and only 5 minutes from S+U station. Free delicious breakfast. Friendly staff. Most of all, such a good price.

The Hotel is well-suited for short to mittlelange stays in Berlin. The nearest Public transport links are super. The closest metro station is a short walk away. I was with my class for three days there and we were all very impressed by the Hotel. The Breakfast in the Hotel was also great. A good Start in the Morning. The dinner was in contrast to the Breakfast was a total letdown. The room was on the first glance clean. However, after the blanket was pulled one/two hairs on the Bedlacken. This incident did the whole stay but not insurmountable. By and Large, is the super value and good for classes or groups of pupils suitable.

Excellent price, clean, good location. There's also very good breakfast included in the room price.
