Maybe the hostel and of course the location is great, but we had such an unfriendly staff at the reception. We had a friend visit, who he immediately threw out and later did not want to go to the toilet. He just moaned at us and made us feel absolutely unwelcome. Unfriendly high ten thousand! Such employees spoil such beautiful places.

Wonderfully charming place! Great location — just outside of the East Side Gallery! Wonderful staff, clean rooms, and a sweet lounge/bar!

Amazing place to stay in Berlin, right in the heart of the east side where everything such as shops/bars/clubs etc are walking distance. The view from the boat was incredible, and it was always busy in the lounge which was nice. The staff were so welcoming/friendly/helpful. Especially the manager Carole, during our trip we were unfairly fined and taken advantage of by ticket conductors in Berlin and Carole took the time out and filled a complaint form in for us in German and sent it away! She couldn’t have been more lovely. The rooms themselves were clean and spacious and perfect for what we came for. When I come back to Berlin I’ll definitely be coming back!

Everything great! Top-friendly staff, great boss and budget accommodation with good value for money. If you have nothing against volume (other guests, party boats and the surrounding streets), you can stay here. Breakfast is also good!

Small but cosy rooms. View of the River Spree is worth seeing. Staff are friendly and the location is really good. Only the small bath bothers me as a 1, 86 tall man with long hair something. Sometimes seriously, who should be able to see himself in the mirror in the bathroom? Otherwise really a good load. Happy again!

Great location, original accommodation, in winter with wood stove.
However, something simple, cramped and sometimes noisy.
From approx. 1, 80 m You can no longer stand under the shower.
Nevertheless: a good hostel.

Saruman created the Uruk-hai in his breakfast buffet. Snob and Edge place. If you like the expensive, the noise and the filth, you will love it.

Just great, very friendly staff, interesting ambiance. Great for Adventurers! Not suitable for First Class! Cabin somewhat cramped, although we are two pretty slim, M + w Zus. 125 kg! But Viiieeeel place in bed. Nice the view from the window, cozy little bar, great cocktails, international guests of different ages, CA 65% Younger which was pleasant!

Great experience. Slept in a dorm room with quite small bunkbeds. There are mosquito nets for the windows, which is quite important so close to the river. The dormroom (room 52) was located next to a outside deck where people could sit and talk so night rest was a little hard. Transportation is nearby so easy access to all the beauty of the city of Berlin. Housekeeping could be a little better, but that could have been the cause of the rest of the guests.

Very cheep and decent location (near Benz-arena), very friendly people, small Room, Bad Wi-Fi.

Room (1st Class) is pleasantly large, clean and well heated in winter. The staff is friendly. The breakfast is good enough for €6, but it is done unlovingly.

All time favourite. A super hostel, sleeping on the boat! I feel comfortable here every time, and also the short way over the tree bridge into trendy Berlin with vegan and international café, restaurants, lounges.

Good clean place, small rooms and bathrooms but overall good quality. In a busy neighborhood with lots of nightlife. Wifi could be better.

Cheap price, lovely room, amazing view above the spree, just a stones throw away from the mercedes benz arena.

It's pretty good for the price, being near a subway station you can get to everywhere and the staff is very helpful.

Self service but good prices and you're sitting on a boat in Berlin. No frills, no hassle, good spot. Often take visitors there for a pint.

The boat is very well located and the view, especially on the bridge, is very beautiful.
The subway is just 5 min
The welcome aboard is top! We had good addresses of restaurants and places to go to see.
The "Crew" is very friendly and very attentive.
Our cabin (for 4 with private bathroom) was small but well designed, and anyway, we had come to Berlin to visit (and not to stay in the cabin).

The Floating lounge on the Hostel boat is one of my favourite places in Berlin. You can enjoy the sunset while having some great drinks. Just perfect!

Hotel Itself ok, however, something verplantes staff. Had three times to move, and on the last day remained to the heating cold even though I Personal know gave. Hot water gave it in the day also not. However, it was in the evening, the staff drunk. Cheers.

We stayed at the Eastern Comfort, A — Cabins for 4 days in October 2015. Nice rooms, reasonable for the price, cozy maritime atmosphere and helpful crew. This place may be great in the summer when it's so breathtaking in cold but sunny day in October, Laying alongside the East Side Gallery Wall, is all that is worth seeing in modern Berlin quite close, and the subway offers easy access the current to the rest. Or stay here for a few nights and see some of the international concerts in the Mercedes-Benz Arena.

For a city trip very suitable. All super friendly.

Reasonable prices, very friendly crew, decent rooms. Also ecologic and energy-efficient! Been here the third time, looking forward for next time.

A week in Berlin in September 2014, and we've extra the Hostelboat chosen, and have been completely satisfied. Höffliches staff in all respects. From the booking until the departure day, our desires are fulfilled. Had a room with a view of the water and the Oberbaumer bridge. In the evening on the Deck with a tasty Berliner Weisse. Be at our next visit in Berlin with safety back on the ship to book. Is just something completely different than a normal Hotel.

Two nights single cabin with a view to/ in the water. Nice Crew, everything has been processed correctly, helpful and everything is clean. Better it's not. I'll definitely be back.

Arrived one Friday evening through Day Dream, the home could have been better if we had not had to wonder how having dinner for € 35 with a small map.
I don't speak of the din of the occupants of the other rooms unless management make though is
A food place that serves both breakfast bar, or is the home both boast of the Germans
Too bad for the situation on East Side Gallery.
A map restricted tasteless tasteless and leaves you angry and hungry for the price to pay.
Not to mention a cigarette smell in the corridors leading to the floors

Have three nights on the Western Comfort Boot spent. The cabin, as well as the whole boat was clean and spacious. In the night, it was at about 0°C outside temperature in the cabin is very cold. The Breakfast was very delicious and rich.

Although I was only a night and a Morning there, but can recommend it absolutely! The location is unique, and especially in the evening with the Play of light quickly comes a gigantic atmosphere over. Since I am in the wood grade was housed, you can of course, not that big of comfort talk. But no one expected, then also a **5**star accommodation. The Crew is very warm, friendly, and uncomplicated. It doesn't feel as Hostelgast, but almost as an invited friend. Anyone who visits Berlin, should in each case at least one beautiful summer night on the boat to spend.

The staff were friendly, the rooms decently clean. The rooms are kind of small so a full four person room was a bit of a squeeze. I'd recommend it.

In every respect a completely different pleasure! Beautiful.

This hostel is the best that I've stayed at — EVER! I've traveled a lot in Europe and by far the people were the nicest and the place the cleanest coolest place I've stayed in years. The boat didn't rock as much as I thought it would and everything was clean and cheerful — even a little chic in the lounge area (also where breakfast is served). There was even a language party one of the nights we were there. We were told about it when we checked it (along with tons of other useful info about the city) and when we showed up for the event, people couldn't have been nicer and more excited to include us. Overall this place is a 10! Thank you Eastern Comfort Staff for making our stay in Berlin such a joy.
