We spent a Week here! Breakfast is good! A TV Hangs in The Breakfast room. The Rooms are very tidy and modern. We had parked the Car on the Side Street. You can reach the subway after a few hundred Meters and get everywhere from there. Overall inexpensive wur would book it again.

In the reception desk staff spoke badly English we got problems with communication. They were not able to give us information where to buy a green sticker to car window — umwelt zone. TV in the room is not working. Breakfast really miserable and not enough tables for the guest so we have to wait several times. After waiting when we finally enter for breakfast women who was in charge of kitchen came and told us it 2 minutes past 10 so we have to finish… Very impolite. From 9.00 they are not adding any food for breakfast so trays are empty — no vegetables. No air conditioning in rooms. Beds soft but wooden frame hurt in legs during sleeping so I have bruises. Free Car parking on the street so you have to be lucky.

Basic comfort, aged appearance, but average price.

Those who do not have high demands are right here. Centrally located. Room clean… Breakfast OK. The staff were very kind and attentive.

So if you have a little claim, you don't book a room here!
We absolutely did not like the following points: — Room Volume: firstly because of the busy main road to the other because of the deafness in the hotel itself — furniture: The furniture in the room is rocked down to the last (see pictures) scratched wood, mold I M bad, the shower head has also seen better times, wardrobe doors were kept partly only thanks to a fishing rod, half-torn curtains double bed was only 1, 40m wide and you just wanted to turn around carefully.
On the ceiling above the bed was mold — generally musty smell in the room, not to get away even by permanent airing. In the hallway it also smelled funny — the breakfast, unfortunately, has only one kind of bread. These were also still dry.
However, you can't complain about cold cuts and co.
-Wi-Fi was very very slow-service: It should immediately look for our TV, this did not go. 5 hours later was still nothing happened conclusion: As already said, if you have minimum requirements, you should not book here!
It is a cheeky thing that was offered to us as a room!

In addition, a short walk from the Metro so super super access. And very accommodating staff.

Very friendly staff. Room clean and cheap. Top position in Berlin city. Breakfast plentiful and fresh goods. Would love to come back.

I think this is not a three star hotel. We booked two triple rooms, but one of them is smaller than the other. Moreover, before us somebody smoked in the smaller room. The other is also not too large for three persons. There is only one wardrobe, no coat hanger, the third bed has been just put in the corner, becasue the room was made for two guests only. The bathroom is too small and is not so clean (little bit moldy ceiling, toilet brush, shower curtain), it has a large washbasin which makes the use of bathroom difficult. The stairway stinks like a clogged sink or due to that somebody was smoking there. There are not enough tables for the breakfast. (One has to leave the building where the reception is to get to the rooms, btw. ) In general Wi-Fi is not working in the 4th floor's rooms, even though the signal is ok. One of the worst accomodations I've experienced.

Everything was great and clean. Breakfast also very good. Initially there were difficulties due to booking new booked and getting old. But then get quick help.

Usual 3-4 star hotel. No kettle or fridge in the rooms tho…

Very small room, no blackouts at the window. One morning of the 3 we did not find a place to sit for breakfast, the staff did not even care about the situation. Positive aspects the location and cleanliness.

So there were only 6 parking spaces for the entire hotel. In the stairwell was construction site, although only during the day, but it was all dusty from building. The rooms were very small, not clean and the walls were filthy. The breakfast was good, the reception was friendly and the location OK too (5 min to the stop "Deutsche Oper")

It's well connected. The rooms are clean and new. The staff is nice. Breakfast is quite acceptable especially for those who like to eat salty food. There is a great variety of cold cuts and cheeses. What if the fruit is scarce and the toaster works when she wants… It is advisable.

The hotel has decent rooms, but they are different in quality. Very sober atmosphere. Slow internet. Little parking space.

The Hotel was a disappointment. The photos on Booking are not truthful. Small rooms with a lighthouse pointed on the room, really hard to sleep. The breakfast was very good and the staff were very nice. One morning at breakfast there was no table available nor plates, we had to have breakfast in the lobby in the cold, the door was open; And of course none of the hotel has taken care to help or at least apologise for the mix-up. Only plus side cleanliness.

This Hotel should be avoided, due to the fact that the pictures you see on the Website do not match the Rooms. The room we had was not comfortable. The Beds are really narrow and everything seems dated. The TV was tiny and the reception on it was low quality. It felt like an expensive hostel. The Bathroom was cramped, the shower head was not mounted properly and you either had to hold it in your hand or put the water on low pressure. Otherwise the water would go straight to the opposite wall. In the end the floor in the bathroom was soaking wet. Then, the included breakfast is reasonable except there is hardly any room to sit. There are about 10 tables, of those only 4 with 4 seats. Guests would be standing around waiting for a free space. It's basically just a hallway. Parking is limited, but good transit access. Not worth the money they charge. Avoid this hotel.

For the price top, we were super pleased. The room was freshly renovated and very clean, the windows are well insulated so you don't hear the street. The breakfast buffet was sufficient, only the breakfast room was a bit small. The bus and train links are perfect a bus stop is right outside the door and the metro is 3-4 minutes away. You can park for free in the side street. Conclusion if you don't want to spend a lot of money and a good, clean hotel with not too much demands on breakfast is super picked up here.

The photos on the site (15/10/17) do not correspond to the rooms (which are however clean but with old furniture and very narrow bathrooms). Probably if you are there you have to ask at the time of booking!
Great place, quiet area and served by public transportation. Ideal for visiting Berlin (if you are satisfied). Poor breakfast, just the bare need.

Very small rooms. A tiny bathroom. A little bit of repairs. But good service and nice staff. Excellent location with parking and free Waifai.

Arktur City Hotel is old fashion rooms but the new part L&M hotel is renovated and very nice, spacious room with nice bathroom, clean and comfortable.

Nice rooms. They were very small for my Canadian expectations. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was great.

The most disgusting Hotel in the whole of Charlottenburg Berlin. The photos on their website is very deceiving. The Hotel itself was like a Refugee camp in Somalia. Plus they refuse to refund you back your Money.

Some rooms are smaller than others at least it seems so. Not a lot of choices when it comes to breakfast but it's alright. Great location for using public transportation.

This one star is for the location. I think the hotel was in a very good location in case of metro, and small shops. Anyhow, the furniture was old, the beds were small, the receptionist was hard talking to, the Wi-Fi turned on and off and suddenly did not work. They didn't even have airconditioning. The bathroom was allright, even though the vent were on for maybe 6 minutes after we switched the light off. I do not recommend this. Even the breakfast was not good enough. Dont get fooled by the pictures on the booking sites.

These two stars just for the price and location, I had few problems with this hotel, First one the sheets were dirty and we called the service to change it! Second one the water was coming out from the shower curtain and that left us with a big problem because the administration told us you have to pay 400$ for the floor damage!

The hotel is clean but definitely not comfortable. The room had internet but only close to the main door. Even there the connection was bad. The furniture was really old and scratched. The rooms don't have air conditions, mini bar and safe. During the summer is really hot in there. The traffic noises are really loud. The "restaurant" have like 6 tables which are not enough for all rooms. Breakfast was OK. My overall opinion is to use this hotel only if it is necessary.

Not very close to the street.

Excellent price/quality ratio. Very convenient trips, subway a few meters and buses right in front of the hotel door. Spacious room, less bathroom, but with everything you need. Obviously missing the bidet.
Breakfast in the room is very good
Only downside the rooms are divided by the reception. Access is next to the reception door, and in winter (in Berlin it's cold) can be a bit annoying.
The staff at the front desk are helpful and courteous.

Good location on the Otto suhr alle street and rooms are not exactly big but with the price is pretty OK.

Location of Berlin Charlottenburg is not top. The room was ok for an overnight stay. You can see already that time was not renovated (paint, cover on heating, sockets, silicone joints in the bathroom). Breakfast was as expected very rich. Would prefer another hotel but when you next visit in Berlin Charlottenburg.

Nice hotel for the price.

The first room was dirty, after a complaint, there was a better room. The staff at the reception were just bad to speak German — in addition, I was told: those Who have HRS cheap Bay will not get the better rooms. Breakfast is only moderately since the Buffet also not quickly replenished. Finally: Would I book again? NO! The only Good thing: You proximity to the city, KuDamm and pasabele pubs and restaurants in the vicinity (but can the Hotel nothing! ).

Fine place. Tidy rooms. Streets are busy, it's hard to park your car for free. Close to U-bahn.

When you check in at the 29.12. We've been told that on 1.1. Other Breakfast times, namely, from 10:00 — 13:00 instead of 7:00 — 11:00 a. M. Shall apply. On new year's day, we are then at half-past 11 o'clock for Breakfast gone. Shortly after 11:00 h, the lady at the next table the staff asked the coffee to fill in what you patziges "Breakfast is only until 11 o'clock" as the answer. Our note that this is not a voice has been ignored. At the reception, we were then told that the Breakfast times were changed. My question is, why none of the guests has informed, could the receptionist not to answer. Also our request that the rest of the Buffet, because sure there are other guests want to have Breakfast, one of us not to mention, was ignored. The Buffet was cleared without comment.

By Couple traveling Europe by Car — Mid August 2010 Positive: GPS had no probs finding the place, parking was easy in side street on initial arrival, staff pretty friendly (the "your in Deutchland but if you can't speak it we know a little English" trick. Good car parking for a few cars, close to PT, shops and food. Great breakfast. Good free Wi-Fi. Shower and hot water. Negative: Noisy with traffic and when raining at night, no air-con, it gets hot inside even in mild weather, small rooms and poor taste in furnature, no space for computer, writting etc, TV is small and old. Sum Up: Value for money, it's average. We didn't stay inside long in the three nights we were there, Berlin is a great city to visit and shop.
