➜ The staff is very friendly and helpful, unfortunately only until about 7 pm on site. Our room was ok but unfortunately without a closet (only shelves). The bathroom was very small and old, but clean. The Wi-Fi was deficient. The breakfast is good standard and the coffee delicious. The hotel is located outside and the city is within walking distance (approx. 15 min. ). On the other other way, it is quite exhausting after an extended evening, as it sometimes goes steeply uphill. A taxi costs about 8 €. Although there is a beautiful terrace overlooking Bamberg, it cannot be used in the evening because it is completely in the dark.
Some lighting and you could finish the evening with a nice view. The minibar is well stocked and the prices are acceptable. Unfortunately, there are only thick-walled water glasses, who wants to drink a wine from them? The hotel should give guests some nice wine glasses. Conclusion: There are only 3 stars, so everything i. O. But the price level (we have 128€/night incl. Breakfast) is definitely too high.

Beautiful views and good breakfast with many local products. Making a reservation proved difficult, communication was simply sloppy. Had to call several times before getting a (verbal) confirmation of our reservation even though I already paid for it weeks before. Hot water takes about 5 minutes and the tiles in the bathroom were partially broken, leaving an ugly hole in the wall where you easily cut your feet if you're not careful. The bed and other furniture is simple but decent. Breakfast staff was friendly, reception staff was brief and factual. Except for the view not worth the amount of money you pay.
