Excellent hotel and service. Parking is very expensive 20 euro per day while parking on the street costs nothing at night. Laundry service should be changed from coins to real money. Breakfast is excellent and there are gluten free options. Rooms are big and comfortable.

It is a good hotel for a couple of days. You are 3 blocks from the train station and the metro station so you can go it and out of the city easily. services and amenities standard for this chain. People was very polite and helpful.

Nice clean rooms, kitchen facility, good breakfast, friendly staff (front desk staff is very nice), rental car facility next door. Only problem: they only have two laundry machines and can sometimes be difficult to find a machine not already occupied.

Breakfast is extremely expensive, I was in that hotel to attend a conference and despite being very varied I found very expensive breakfast, 23 euros which is equivalent to two menus in Barcelona.

Yesterday I wanted to drink only coffee and water on 31.03 against 15:00 there as a guest. It worked out well at first. The nice waitress in training but was overwhelmed with my reordering and had forwarded it to an older colleague. He has registered the wish… but only registered.
For A * * * * hotel a poor performance. But you can save money. Thank you!

I am very satisfied with this hotel because everything is ok, cleaning, guest service, positioning. Rooms are big and have all what you'd need in your stay. Again… Recommended.

Rather le cost hotel, very well located with quick access to Ostbahnof station, several for places nearby, cost hotel with nice breakfast and decent gym facilities.

For me it was a long stay place the very full breakfast the people who attend very friendly. Television doesn't have many English channels except news. None in Spanish the cleaning is quite good but not top not chall.

The price/performance ratio in the Munich hotel industry is anyway and generally rather modest. Unfortunately, the Residence Inn is no exception. Breakfast is great and the location too, room rather standart and the lack of hotel bar does not actually go at all. Parking fee for guests of the house for the parking garage, also unfortunately as everywhere very expensive.

Very well located near Ostbahnhof station and also a tram and a bus stop. The area is quiet and very good for kids since it is near several playgrounds. There is also 2 supermarkets in the area (both lidl). The apartments are nice and have everything needed for a long stay with kids.

The sraff was very friendly and helpful. The accommodations were very nice.

Room is nice. Shower needs a redo as the corners are dark and growing potential mold. Lounge is comfortable. Staff is friendly. Many speak English. Close to the bus stop and subway station. Free breakfast I'd hot and cold.

Comfortable rooms with kitchen. The shower is not slippery floor, and when you go to bathe a child it is important. The double bed has a real double mattress, not 2 single beds.

Excellent location and spacious rooms. Hotel is 400 metres walking from the public transit system an just three stops from the centre of Munich. The only person at the front desk we dealt with was Alex but don't let his youth full you. Alex was very courteous, knowledge and helpful. I observed Alex helping out many guests always with the same cheerful demeanor. Thank you Alex for helping tourists like me! Oh, and excellent buffet breakfast too. Definitely recommend Residence inn by Marriott in Munich East!

The hotel is ideally located, close to Ostbahnhof with good connections, at the same time you can also park nearby for free, almost beyond the ring. Rooms are beautifully spacious and well equipped. Staff are friendly and helpful. I put off a star because of breakfast, which is hald simple Stanard and kind of boring.

Proper sized rooms for a 1 person long term stay. Clean and well kept on arrival. Air conditioning controls are not intuitive. Kitchenette sufficient for whatever small amount of cooking is done in the room. Breakfast is very good with great variety. Location is convenient for multiple ways of getting to different​areas of the city.

The location is ideal thanks to the nearby Ostbahnhof station. The rooms are beautiful, but the black mold in the shower is extremely unpleasant. Breakfast is good.

Overall a great hotel. Very clean, friendly staff. The bed is a little stiff for my liking but otherwise comfortable. Bathroom is clean and updated. Has in room kitchen appliances, I have not used except for the refrigerator. Very happy with my stay overall.

We enjoy a long weekend in Munich, and with our baby we need something
more than the usual hotel room. The aparthotel Marriott met in full all
our needs: a big room, close to the Centre, comfortable and beautiful.
The room has a kitchenette fully equipped, even microwave and
dishwasher, table to dine, bathroom with huge shower, beautiful!
The hotel staff has proved competent and discreet; the public areas were very clean
and spacious; the large breakfast room and never too crowded.
The hotel is located just 200 metres from the train station Ostbahnhof, and right in front of the hotel
There is a tram stop # 19 leading downtown in 10 minutes, the maximum.

Staying here for an extended stay until our house in Munich is ready. The buffet is excellent but can be very busy if there is a tour bus staying — although that's not the hotel's fault. The facilities are clean although some residents can be filthy leaving trash out (the hotel staff quickly clean it). There are some breakdowns (elevator, parking cards don't work and you have to manually buzz to get out — never a problem though) but the staff are very friendly and attentive. Conveniently located near a grocery store and public transportation. I would recommend this hotel.

I have seen this hotel turn from a great one into a nightmare! I believe this has to do with change of management in the last year. (I am a platinum member). Elevator keeps breaking down for days at a time. Flies in the food serving area. Rates that change all the time. TV and Internet not working in most rooms. Noisy if your room is facing the train tracks. And if you contact the GM for a special rate for longer stays, he will try to charge you more than what you would get anyway online. The furniture is now run down. And some staff are very unfriendly, although some are really great, depends on your luck! Very pricey for what you get. Avoid at any expense.

Disappointed very much. I am a gold Marriott member. This is the worst Marriott stay in years. Very pricey, a very noisy room, poor front desk service, charging nickel and dime for everything, not working TV, dropping Internet, super hard beds and pillows… I have not seen a breakfast yet.

I stayed for 3 weeks. Cleaning is onley twice a week and you have to co-op with their schedule. Not when you need. Room cleaning is very poor. They onley take care of the bed and bath. And never bother them selves to make up the mini pantry nor fold any cloth on the sofa. Smelly. Very noisy if your room is on the road side.

Great location, very convenient to the UBahn. Friendly staff. Can't go wrong.
