The shuttle bus, at 19 euros per person is a ripoff — it never turned up anyway, so we took a taxi and got charged 21 euros total, for the two of us. The room rate was very reasonable for the quality of hotel, but the extras — breakfast at 24 euros, and silly minibar prices (no free water) — left a sour taste. I would have been much happier to have paid a higher room rate, and not to get ripped off on the other stuff. No wardrobe, no iron in the room, but the staff were charming.

Only needed a place for a night near the airport and this place met all of my needs. The check in was very fast and the staff was friendly and professional. The room was spacious and very clean. The beds were also very comfortable. The bathroom was nice and clean with plenty of towels for two people. I had low expectations because of the price per night, but I was very impressed instead. Only issues, reception forgot to ask me about mini bar consumption leading to another transaction, along with validating the parking ticket for my friend who picked me up, charging me the full day 14 euro price instead of only the 5 minutes they were there for, if I wasn't low on time to catch my plane I would have complained, but I didn't have the time to come back for it by the time I noticed. EDIT: After this post they refunded me my parking, what’s not to love about exceptional service.

We had a very good and relaxing stay at the mövenpick hotel. The staff at the restaurant was exceptionally friendly. Loved how close we were from the airport. Our room was very clean and neat. I highly recommend this hotel.

A male staff member (maybe from the cleaning service) let himself into our room with his keys and no knocking first. I was getting ready to shower when he came in unannounced and scared me dramatically as I was nude. Not professional at all! Checking in and out was fast, courteous & professional. The little refreshments of coffee & croissants at 4 am were very appreciated. Overall a pleasant one night stay!

Excellent staff! Helpful and friendly. Clean hotel with comfortable bed and nice shower/bathroom. Hotel offers bicycles! We had a fabulous time riding around the town which is super friendly to cyclists and pedestrians! There is also a trail next to a river/stream that is just lovely (look for the friendly ducks and the yard with the pet deer:-) Hotel food is very good. My only suggestion is for the hotel shuttle to run all day, or at least during the mid-day upon request. Our flight arrived late-morning so we had to take public transportation to hotel which was not difficult, but a shuttle would have been nice. Hotel staff gave good instructions over the phone about which train and bus to take from airport to hotel. Thank you so much for the coffee and croissants on the morning we had to leave for airport at 4:00 am… this was so nice after waking at 3:00 am and facing a long day of travel! We didn't use the sauna but it looks nice! Thanks Movenpick!

Our expectations were well and truly exceeded by our stay at the Movenpick! We had the chance to upgrade for 20 euros to a special 'sleep' room, and it was well worth it. We will certainly choose this hotel again.

Ladies and gentlemen,
In view of the high price, the standard of the hotel is more mediocre. The check-in is anachronistic (manually writing off the passport details while you wait? ) and is understaffed. My room (upscale category) was ok, the food offer at both breakfast and dinner is, in my view, country-related/meat-heavy and therefore not up-to-date and the high prices inappropriate. Wait for dinner with over 30 minutes for the simplest standard dishes very long.
The shuttle vital to the airport is ok, but if you take a taxi (shuttle just missed), you are almost killed by the taxi service af reason of the absurd 20-minute rule (driver drove Tempo 130 in the 60s zone — of course this is not their fault, but diminishes the Total experience).
The connection to the city (if, like me, you plan to visit the city centre at short notice) is very long by the flea bus, which does not follow any timetable. Dito, not her credit.
Next time I would probably choose the Novo or Hilton directly at the airport.

It’s very close to the airport. The food is very good and breakfast is superb! staff very accommodating. We were early but they gave us drinks while the room was being cleaned. Very small exercise room, but it has sauna and steam room.

Dog friendly, good food and good Biergarten! Easy airport access too.

This is the 5th day of our 7day tour, we were exhausted by the time we checked in to hotel 830pm. Dragging bags into the main lobby we were welcome by the very friendly and professional front desk agents, we were offer delicious pudding shots and german chocolate bars as a welcome treat, as our tour coordinator sorted out our room arrangements (50ppl) we were busy checking out the restaurant area in anticipation for our morning breakfast. As we entered our room were were so surprised by the cleanness of the room, coffe pot and AC unit yeii! after a well deserved shower we had a great night sleep (pillows awesome) we got our wake up call at 6am and head out for breakfast to be even more amazed, breakfast was all I expected and more, a variety of food to please every palet.
The servers were so attentive to our needs.
I will recommend this hotel to everyone that wants to be pampered! ♡♡♡♡♡

Great location, great food and service but quite expensive.

Very nice rustic hotel with very nice staff. Super beer garden and great food. Absolutely recommended.

The Moevenpick feels like home and is very friendly with us with a top notch service from the stafff. Always a pleasure to stay there after or before and ski trip.

One of my top 3 favourite hotels in Germany!
I travel a lot professionally, like to visit Instagram: Apptrixx search;D. So for me there are the four points that have to be checked: bed: The rooms are modern and depending on which one gets with open bathroom area or not. The beds are big and good for sleeping, the sockets for loading from cell phone and co. Also available at a good height.
Service: The second time, the reception greeted me cordially and asked if I would like the same room as last time. They were helpful in clarifying some questions and the WLAN is top. Early departure announced and automatically the question of when to be the wake-up call. Therefore, the hotel is one of my top recommendations. If you're hungry for 23 the room service delivers fresh from the kitchen!
Bathroom: As mentioned at the beginning: either with open modern or closed bathroom. Where on the other hand almost everywhere is dirn, cleanly cared for and directly warm water while washing hands, though is a small detail but it differs from 3 or 4 star breakfast: Every time a poem. All fresh, all super tasty and with heart. From croissants to organic bread from the bakery from the village (fresh) Everything your heart desires. Yummy the have Soga Aktimel:D This also comes from the relaxed atmosphere and the many different juices that are all fish. Again, there is the coffee fish delivered to the table.

No issues, very nice, clean place. About 7 KM from airport. We had a car so don't know about buses, etc. Really didn't stay long, checked in about 9 PM and out about 7:30 AM.

For four stars already something very old. Discoloration in sink, bathroom area. Shuttle to the airport 10-15 minutes and costs 9€ one way. The breakfast is very tasty and a good selection. The proximity to the airport can be heard.

The bed was extremely comfortable, as was the room. My reason for the low rating is I felt the hotel 'nickel and dimed'. This hotel is in the middle of nowhere and yet I had to pay 14, — to park my car. It is also an 'airport' hotel and still I had to pay 9, — for the shuttle from the airport (one way, one person) — you could have gotten a taxi cheaper and not made a tour of the entire airport and hotels dropping people off. The room was not cheap and the meals were quite expensive (21, — for a main dish and 4, — for a glass of wine). It is ridiculous to have these extra charges and expensive meals with the hotel room costing 200, — +.

Nice hotel, convenient for the Airport. Rooms are immaculate and a decent specification. Staff very polite and courteous. Good menu & wine. (I didn't browse beyond the 3rd Red, a Cabernet blend Chilean — which was excellent). I would have no hesitation staying there again or recommending it to friends.

Fantastic friendly service, from all staff. One of the most welcoming hotels that I have been to for business. Would highly recommend for future business trips.

I would have a perfect stay and can recommend the hotel to anyone. I come from the hotel industry myself and had nothing to complain about. Breakfast is a dream.

Simply swiss, simply perfect! Big and very comfortable rooms. In the restaurant I only had breakfast, but it was a perfect buffet.

We made park, sleep, fly and everything was top. Always reluctant to.

It's a great hotel. Like all the hotels in the network of M'venpick Hotels and Resorts, which had to visit! Very responsive staff, quickly solved the issues that arise, for which they thank you very much! Stunning cuisine, just unforgettable breakfasts:)!

Very nice staff. The breakfast buffet was the best I have ever seen in a hotel. This is a real effort. Also the rooms are very nice and the beds comfortable. Unfortunately we arrived very late in the evening and could not eat anything in Munich. In the Hozel it was unfortunately too expensive for us as a student. But this is also clear at a hotel of this price range. Unfortunately there was no possibility to eat in the surroundings. We still hope to be here again soon as a guest.

Good hotel. Well appointed, reasonable facilities, but my bed was a bit hard.

Good location near the airport. Airport shuttlei. Parking place (outsite, not on a garage). Clean, modern and comfortable rooms. Good on site restaurant (not gastronomic, but good quality with reasonable prices). Very useful sleep and park offer (sleep there at least 1 night and leave the car there for more days, without having to pay more/extra).

Convenient to the airport and the business Centre of Hallbergmoos.

Pretty descent hotel for the price & location combination. Quality breakfast spread, which is not a huge surprise given that Movenpick is also a food supply company. Beds in the standard rooms are pretty hard and uncomfortable. The ones in the upgraded rooms are much more comfortable. It's generally a quiet place, even with the proximity to the airport. Word of advice: If at all possible avoid the rooms with windows that open to the front of the hotel. God forbid it's a little warm in the room and you want to open a window to let in some fresh air while there are people chain smoking themselves to death a couple of steps from the hotel entrance with all that smoke beautifully funneled to your room taking you along for the 2nd hand smoke ride. Germany doesn't have a minimum no smoking perimeter law so people can stand literally at the front entrance of any establishment, blow smoke directly at you and there's not a single thing you can do about it. To the hotel staff's credit, she did go out there and asked the folks if they could move their smoking activity farther away from the front of the hotel.

Great hotel. It is chique and cosy, has very friendly staff and attention to detail. Loved the way the room service dinner was presented, the bathrobe and the rubber duck. Only point of improvement: I really can't find how to switch off the bathroom light.

Good hotel with large rooms and very helpful staff. Breakfast is really good and plentiful. Next time I miss a connecting flight in Munich I will ask for this hotel.

Functional hotel. Super close to the airport and way cheaper than the Hilton at the airport. I would skip breakfast unless you don't have a choice 24euros is pretty steep for what you get.

It's a nice stopover. Excellent breakfast! Parking is expensive and it's going up in price by the end of 2017 (14 Euro per day). Reception is not on top of the details and have been continuously dishonest with the type of rooms given. For example, if you book a Superior they might just give you a classic and if your not a regular then you wouldn't know the difference. This review is based on five years of experience with this hotel. The best part of the hotel is the breakfast! The country feel is beautiful!

Classic German hotel service, efficient, clean, in the rooms. A place for groups or for people who move for work.

I stayed at this hotel for one night and am sorry to say, that it is long overdue for an upgrade and not the quality you normally expect in a Movenpick Hotel. The hall ways leading to the rooms have a dark decor and the places there were tiles they were chipped and worn down. The "ready for upgrade" style continued in the room. I had a standard room so the superior rooms may be better, though I doubt it. In my bathroom 50% or the light bulbs worked. :-) You would normally expect the cleaning crew so see such error and correct them. The bathroom did not have a dedicated shower stall, but a shower option in the bathtub. This raised the problem that the drain was semi-clocked, so a shower also gave the bonus of an involuntary food bath in your own bath water. The bed was nice and comfortable though. Unlike many of the other hotels in the area hotel parking is charged with €12 per day. The hotels around Munich airport needs to be pretty full before I will use this hotel again.

Better than expected.

I like to live here again and again. The rooms are very comfortable and with 27 sqm relatively large. The giant armchair is cosy and you sleep wonderfully quietly. I appreciate the small but versatile menu in the restaurant, which is constantly changing. Dinner and breakfast are always a treat. The staff is well trained (unfortunately no longer self-evident) and very friendly and helpful. And obviously they feel comfortable here, because it is pleasant to see familiar faces again and again. And even when I was here with my very lively grandsons, it went wonderfully. Surely it doesn't take long and I'm back at the Möwi.

Room was very beautiful with a modern twist and very comfortable. Loved my stay.

We were in the November local and have the hotel as between station used to be so early the next day as possible at the airport.
The hotel in the General was from ok. However, the service and the additional charges which were billed for each handshake are impertinence. Dear three Jamba Spar subscriptions as again one night at the Mövenpick Hotel. Alone the shuttle service was with 32 euros for round — and calculated trip of a few kilometers. Not to mention besides that the rider has been extremely unfriendly would be even a taxi my research in hindsight after some euro cheaper have been. And I have the taxi driver not even 180 euros in the throat I kicked that one night at the him sleep "may". Breakfast was booked with 28 euro was free but between 4-6 pm. A reversal was not possible according to the service, because Yes advance was paid. On a critical questioning of the Presiphilosophie email was never answered.

We had lunch there and all of us chose the buffet. Though a little pricey, the food and service were excellent.

Wifi is free at 1Mb (after registration), else it's paying. The shuttle to the airport is 8 eur, which is ridiculously expensive regarding the proximity of the air port, and compared to a regular downtown-airport ticket which costs around 10eur. I'd recommend to book an hotel closer to the S bahn.
