Friendly staff and clean rooms. Staff knows English which is great since I don't know German.

I can only recommend this hotel. I was there from 21.06. — 26.06.18 with a group of 46 people and it was just top. The staff is so super nice, the food topsy, everything sour and tidy. And although the group was so big, there were no delays with the food. The Roman slaying on the last day was the icing on the cake. A must for groups. You really miss something if you don't participate in it. Keep it up. I will definitely be back. Thank you for the great hospitality.

Once again for many years — just gorgeous, the "Wild Man" in Aschaffenburg — a very good address. Have a beautiful room and the crew is just as nice as it was 20 years ago, I had lived here for half a year. Such destinations belong to monument protection.

You don't necessarily have to be in the room for a meeting. That was a good thing, too. My room 123 was dark and despite high summer and sunshine the room didn't get bright. The window to a shaft of light provided little flair. For a wellness — or holiday stay I would not book the room. There are certainly even more attractive rooms in the house. The food was delicious and the service fully ok.

The room was accustomed. In a room corner were older cobwebs where dead mosquitoes had become entangled. You should have seen that in any case. Hello ch kept my socks on because I didn't trust the cleanliness level of the soil, after the experience with the spider web.
My window was to the street and it was unbearably loud.
All in all, a disaster. Under no circumstances recommended.

Central location, friendly staff. Small single room with a very small bathroom. Room to the main street slightly noisy, with closed window okay. Clean and cared for. Corridors a bit confusing. Breakfast buffet very rich and delicious, with many guests a bit cramped and chaotic, winding breakfast — and guest room.

Located right on the old town. Staff very friendly. Rich breakfast buffet. We had a room on the first floor, located to the street. The noise was very tolerable thanks to the soundproof glazing.

Shabby expensive kitchen service does not live up to the local. I avoid returning.

We felt very comfortable in the wild man. Wi-Fi free of charge sauna and wellness area top, breakfast rich and good, super coffee, staff courteous and friendly, rooms functional, short walk to the Old Town, downtown. Always like to come back.

Rooms are clean and technical for 3 * * * OK; Unfortunately the hotel is in itself a bit louder but still in acceptable range; Parking places are often, especially in the evening, scarce goods; Breakfast is plentiful and good. Overall conclusion good.

Very pleasant single room with nice bathroom, shower a bit cramped for big people, noble linens and very good bed, very nice breakfast buffet, 24 hour reception, 5 minutes by taxi or 1, 3 km to the central station.

The most memorable experience with my mother. Within walking distance of everything you would possibly need to see in Aschaffenburg! Beautiful rooms. Amazing spa, lavish breakfast and the staff put up with our American needs so so very well! We will be back!

Very nice hotel. I am regularly on a business trip here and the hotel is more than adequate. Breakfast is fully OK. A star deduction as the parking situation is gruesome.

1. A traditional inn with a hotel. The room was very clean and the breakfast was very good. Restaurant somewhat overloaded and the waitress not very collegial in dealing with each other. Food took a long time. Breakfast room was full with an average offer therefore 3 * 2. New visit. The room was very comfortable. Ohropax are not an alternative. We had been to goose food there. The service staff was super nice and helpful. My wife had received a dish from the menu, which was delicious. Our goose was also very good, only unfortunately with €35 something expensive.

Outstandig like always! We really enjoyed our stay in that historical hotel in Aschaffenburg. The room was great, the food delicious and very nice presented. All the staff was polite and took very well care about us! Something else I really love at this hotel are the home-crafted products like beer, cider and even it's very own Gin wich we were able to enjoy at the cozy terrace in the evening sun! Thank you very much & we'll be back soon!

The staff is friendly and the hotel itself is tidy. The problem is when you have a room facing the street! No air conditioning means leaving the window wide open. The transport trucks start pretty early, so good luck getting a good night's rest.

Beds really horrible with no breathing madrass.

Hotel rooms small and dark (probably only for us cyclists) bathroom small. The room was on a side street passers-by could not see everything conveniently in the room so great!
However, the breakfast has to be mentioned praise anyway!

The new rooms are very tastefully furnished. Food was delicious, especially the breakfast is top. The bicycles made available were very practical. The reception and the staff were friendly. Overall a very good price — performance ratio.

On last Monday, 12 Oct 2015, I had arranged a meeting in the "wild man" with my childhood sweetheart after nearly 44 years. Advance I brought to the hotel, with the request that this the opportunity, to me to place on selected table, a small bouquet of flowers and a sweet gift.
"" Begun we, my companion and I met at 18th 3: 00 in the "wild man" a. What I found there exceeded my wildest expectations. Not only flowers and gift, but also a burning candle and a loving, skilful decoration, table were to be found on our Pnlatz. A professional waiter read us much time to choose of our drinks and food. He was constantly present without being intrusive. It was a wonderful evening of seeing again why even the "wild man", a not insignificant contribution. My warmest thanks to all the most succeed this evening were involved.

Super nice and helpful staff. Rooms clean and good facilities. The Spa is absolutely great. Super, that bikes are available. I felt very comfortable. I can recommend it.

We have on our bike ride on the Main cycle path here for 1 night and stayed the night. The price of 80, 00 EUR for a double room, we felt to be appropriate. Since the Hotel is on a busy road, are for sensitive ears, the really good insulating window is not sufficient, even ear plugs ready. We would work for the rooms and the Hotel in General only 3 stars. But what we really in the most positive sense of surprised, was the Breakfast buffet. If we have the Breakfast buffet alone would have to evaluate, would give it 5 stars because the selection is really very, very, very big, do not compare with other Breakfast buffets at Nights in this price range. Also missing, for example, lactose-free cheese, or on demand, the staff also gluten-free bread. What we say nothing, is the normal restaurant business, because we in the evening not in the Hotel eaten.

We were back again at the rainbow concert in the town hall, it has us, as always, very well-liked. Arrive, feel at home. Come now for 30 years in the "Wild man", always happy. Makes eindfach more so, On Friday we were in the sauna alone beautifull! It is a Hotel in the old town of Aschaffenburg with magnificent story from the last approx 400 years — who are looking for something is in good hands! I know the Wild man since >30 years and can its good reputation not quite understand. The food is okay, but for these prices you get in other Restaurants Better. Today, the operation of a buck shot, 9 orders were 3 not correct (wrong or Missing inserts). 17, 50 € for a Turkey steak with fried potatoes and a unimaginative side salad are a bit too much. The waiting times are too long. Really friendly, the house is not, because there are better examples. The children's menu had to be requested for a couple of sausages, with mashed potatoes are 50 min waiting far too long, and even Crayons and paper to get elsewhere without being asked.

Had a short stopovers after our return from Merano. The house is very gewönnungsbedürftig, winding and dark in the interior. With a 3* more like adequately evaluated. The buffet Breakfast is an honorable mention, the Spa stands out from home (but no Pool). Friendly and accommodating staff. For a 1 night sufficient, the regular price is in no relation. In the evening, Spa and Restaurant again, well attended, enjoyable, an ancient but incredibly lively house! A common functional city hotel and not a 4 stars hotel, with mixed furnishings, a marble slab in the wall, walled in as a table, a block of wood as a bedside table (in the next room was a small fridge in the bedside table), the full-length mirror is 12 cm wide and hangs on a wall with 20 cm, a Sichansehen is hardly possible. The rooms are quite noisy and a blickdichter curtain around also in the Morning still sleeping, there is not. It was renovated and re-tiled, but a radiator in the bathroom is not available, a deduction of loud and a cold spread, that one does not wants to have a shower. We were disappointed because of the 4 star hotels we are otherwise accustomed to. By the way, in the room 202 is the concrete wall only bar, in room 201 is at least a Roughcast off. The Breakfast was extensive, but the Breakfast room was not to linger.

Our family stayed at the Wilder Mann in June 2011, and we loved it. The rooms were comfortable, if a bit "old fashioned" when it comes to decor. We liked the decor though — found it charming and fitting for such an old hotel. Everything was spotlessly clean. We had an interior room overlooking the inner courtyard, and street noise was absolutely not a problem. The rooftop terrace and spa area are delightful. The location is close to the city center, but because of the rooftop and terrace gardens surrounding the hotel, it doesn't feel like it's in the middle of a bustling city. Very close to the castle and other sites, including the excellent shopping district. The restaurant in the hotel is terrific, the service is very good, and the food was delicious. The only issue is parking — in fact, the owner's daughter often parks in the very limited guest parking, which we found annoying. But other than that, our stay was delightful, and if we ever go through northern Bavaria again, we will make a point to stay here.
