I was now the second time at TONIs by Wenisch, the food still good — but unfortunately could not build on the taste experience on the first visit! We had the feeling that the food was served warmed up…? The service was very friendly and fast…! In warm weather, it is certainly also beneficial to use a deodorant. 😉

The food was outstanding, very fast and friendly service, everything was delicious and the value for money is right. The sauna was never crowded, rooms always tip top clean.

Hotel is clean and comfortable but rooms are extremely small and no air conditioning, temp was mid to high 20's so didn't have the best of sleep on both nights. However staff are very helpful and friendly.

Unfortunately the air conditioning does not work as well as we, after over 24 hrs it has dropped about 2 degrees. And the reception is too crowded in the evening, you demand an immediate payment there and that takes too long! For people who want to eat vegetarian > no labelling.

Stylish restaurant with cozy beer garden, professional and very friendly service, excellent meat and cuisine. Unfortunately, the Bearnaise had been torn apart, but also had to do with the almost unbearable heat.

Super delicious, great quality and reasonable prices! Burger was really delicious! I was not asked about the gargrad, but (thank God) was still slightly pink inside. Although it was really not easy to eat due to the relatively large bathing, but still made it and was then well saturated. Also highly recommended are the braised ox backerl! Next time I will try a delicious steak …

Great food and great Service were in 2 Weeks 2x since once at a Wedding and once on the Anniversary. In any Case, we will come more often (with the nice and entertaining Service:) ) and will in any Case recommend everyone.

The ambience is appealing, the staff friendly, the food good, just from breakfast on Saturday I was disappointed, little choice with sausage, cheese and bread. Nix special. Standard.

Very good hotel with first-class breakfast and restaurant with a large selection of meat dishes, which is not surprising when you know that the operating family also runs a good-going butcher's shop. The Old Town is about a 10-minute walk away. Parking is available right in front of the hotel. In front of the butcher's shop opposite.

I was now in the hotel for the second time and I have to say it has a very good value for money!
The room is clean, water is available in the room, the breakfast is varied, fresh and above all also delicious.
There is also the possibility to go to the in-house restaurant, which makes a very good impression all around.
I will continue to prefer this hotel in the future if I need accommodation in the area.

It was all great! I had a single room in the old part I think this was clean and OK! The food in the restaurant was world class and the breakfast too!

Have been here multiple times for business trips and found it comfy. It has a veey gud restaurant especially for beef eaters… have ample vegeterian options.

Even if the big piece is the hammer (only with pre-order) — even the normal steaks are really TOP and prepared to the point — and the whole thing at normal prices. Only you have to book long long beforehand, otherwise you will certainly not get a place there…

Very nice new restaurant, great concept. We were on Sunday brunch several times and were delighted every time. The price-performance was exceptionally good, particularly when considering the freshness and quality of the food. The chef is a good host, the service very hard. I was astonished by the exquisite selection of wines, which makes the title of the hotel a pleasure.

We were there for brunch. The food was outstanding and varied. Unfortunately, there was only 1 coffee machine and the strikes now and then, which was not surprising in the rush. Also, it was very crowded and therefore very noisy.

From the hotel you need to walk about 10min to the train station and 15min to the city centre. The service was very friendly. The size of the single room was manageable, but it was completely adequate. It was clean and the bathroom was spacious. For breakfast there was a rich and tasty selection. Hotel is definitely recommended.

Clean rooms nice good eating only flaw in the set menu there are no drinks included.

I'd give 6 stars if I could. 4 Kilo steak and it was perfect.

Been in the Wenisch for the first time. Was really positively surprised. Well furnished, friendly service and good food. Of course also the drinks:)
A star deduction for that one had to wait a long time for his drink and some meat part was too cold.

Super friendly staff, if you have a concern, we will take this into account immediately. The service is also great, the cleaning ladies were very friendly and also the consider extra wishes. Conclusion: Very satisfied would definitely come back.

Great place. Great beer. I love dark beer or yeast wheat. I ate a steak of beef with French fries and homemade mayonnaise. Awesome.

Great for a night or two, if you're visiting Straubing or passing by. Rooms are rather small, but clean and newly renovated. Stuff is particularly friendly. Delicious and lively dining restaurant with great ambience; traditional Bavarian with a touch of modern glass. Nice beer garden!

We were under a summer bike Tour there and have us in the beer garden established. The food was very good and you can tell the Gäubodenvolksfest Tradition. I. E. Good food, but also "good" prices. But even these keep, in contrast to the folk festival in the frame.
