Was at a wedding. Great location. Eat well. But… Service is not possible. Drinks must run behind. Staff does not understand German. Can't recommend it any more.

We just wanted a coffee and were asked outside. There were a few chairs and 2/3 tables in the driveway. We were very weird there. We wanted a meal in a friendly environment and left.

Again and again we like to eat on the beautiful terrace overlooking the lake and the hotel park. A house with a very special atmosphere and the enchanting charm of bygone times.

The hotel is lovingly furnished and embedded in beautiful nature. Overall very classic & feminine. The lake is a leisurely walk in 10 minutes. For my taste a little too much imperial cliché, but still a great place for a relaxed time.

If we have an opportunity, you will eat here. The kitchen is good — it's always very satisfactory.
The ambience is getting older. Nevertheless, you can go there with every visit.

Always nice to sit on the open terrace. Good tea, unfortunately very small kitchen selection, but well-tasting.

Welcoming Hotel in a wonderful landscape, friendly staff and professional services, gourmet cuisine and local Bavarian dishes — all these make Kaiserin Elisabeth a really attractive tourist destination. Surprisingly good food in an traditional atmosphere that transports you back to dutches Sissi. Try the Feldafinger Schnitzel or Zander filet in potatoe crust and Safran Sauce.

The hotel as such is of course already something very special and not commonplace. The food was also excellent. If you want to whine at a high level, the following would be said: 1) a shower curtain and/or splash guard in the rooms would not be bad.
2) If you want to play gastronomically on a high level, you cannot put plastic flowers on the noble table. Then I'd rather have nothing in the way. This is as if you were going to get Aldi cans of whipped cream on his ice cream in a first-class Italian iced café.
3) We understand that there is no breakfast buffet available for a small number of guests. However, if you get the (smaller) breakfast served at the place, the staff should also at least understand enough German to bring the right thing or to bring anything at all. We already find that a hotel should offer in this price setting among other things honey and eggs for breakfast.
These three points, however, are not wrong to understand, we were very satisfied overall. Unfortunately, it is not enough for only 5 stars.
Update after knowing the answer of the hotel: it is already somewhat brazen to say that three people, of which a very active hobby gardener, plastic flowers can not distinguish from real flowers. In so far we subtract two more stars and give your wish to see us again in the hotel a clear rejection.

Excellent! Beautiful terrace overlooking the manicured park. 10minutes Foot walk to Lake Starnberg. For the children there is also a nice playground.

We have been nailed almost €30 for 3 glasses of milk chocolate 1 beer and 2 cupcakes of dubious quality, service, lousy. My dream to tread a place that had stepped on my idolized Sisi of Bavaria has become disillusion.

The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was very good.
Would have liked to stay longer and certainly come back with the family.

Despite prior consultation regarding vegetarian and vegan dishes for some guests of a wedding party, very unorganized wrong food was served.
After asking about cheese on the supposedly vegan dish, hies It first it's okay, that's vegan.
It was then communicated it is actually not vegan, but one should simply not eat certain dishes on the plate.
After saying that this was a weak picture for such a restaurant, the staff was also rude and claimed that they had previously rejected the tomato soup and another wanted which is not vegan.
Only after a short discussion was offered to bring another court.
For a house in the Preiskathegorie an absolute no go.

Lovely elegant hotel with modern amenities, friendly staff, a great menu for the on sight restaurant. The grounds and gardens we very relaxing too.

The hotel has history to it and the rooms are nice with a great view. Also the restaurant serves great food.

Mix of tradition and modernity quite successful. Time travel.

We have celebrated there several 'round' birthdays, Club anniversary billeted before 5 years, in-laws, 35 years ago great balls of summer, I think it's great. Own charm, great ambience, holder and entirely on the amount of time. Sayings of owner (above 100)! ) as 'Children, light that costs' are not weight in money. Many years, absolutely professional staff. I wish there would be more hotels of its kind with soul. A pity that someone 2011 stole Sylvester the bear at the entrance, which stayed there for at least 30 years guard. Price OK. Excellent and really the so-called 'Stüberl', which is almost always booked out worth its price.

An oasis, in the morning Breakfast on the covered terrace at night, a stroll through the Golf course to the lake, wonderful. It's just a shame that someone is new year's eve 2011, the bear at the entrance has stolen the there for mind. 30 years guard held. Price-performance is absolutely fine, especially if I can do this with a newly designed oasis for example, in the vicinity of the Krünen comparisons. Excellent and also really worth its price the so-called 'parlour', which is almost always fully booked.

Clean Rooms. Friendly Staff. Only for hard-of-hearing persons, as it is very noisy. Radiator made tonight not überhörbare noises. Breakfast was in order. Parking is directly at the Hotel sufficiently available.
