Smooth 6 for service. Two superiors preferred to have private conversations with a guest rather than to take care of new visitors. After we were not served, we left again.

The House scores with the great location. The staff are very helpful and the prices are the same as the lake.

Times like that, in terms of service. However the food is perfectly fine, the prices "of the Sensational location adapted" and especially the location right on the lake makes some things good again. Especially on Sundays and public holidays the forestry is quite crowded and therefore the staff is also a bit more stressed than usual.

Unfortunately not recommended. We wanted to eat the restaurant was half empty but all the tables were reserved and we were not welcome. Very unfriendly service.

Excellent cuisine! After already 4-5 visits of it also with larger groups we had, without exception, always a very good experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The somewhat outdated House boasts a direct location and beautiful views. The terrace is beautiful and looks inviting. The food is flavorful good. There's a star each. We had coleslaw with potato cucumber salad. Basically I like the meals on a hot plate, salad with this is, I would have preferred either to serve them an extra salad or not to heat up the feed plate. Everything might grumble at a high level. What me but something has irritated, the unfriendly behavior of controls was. So inviting was the terrace which faces were so accommodating. As it turned out it was, that they were annoyed, that the restaurant was also still in the afternoon. This was announced at the rate of a waitress so: "This is time to puke that all must come in the afternoon! "
To think that because you had may already be closing time is one thing, but before guests saying out loud it unfortunately can't get more!

One of the nicest views of Stanbergsee, remotely located, great menu options. A pleasant place to visit.

Loved the stay for a night. We had a lovely room with a view over the lake. Wonderful dinner, excellent breakfast service.

Due to its location very expensive but the food is worth its price. Gourment quality.

Possenhofen-pöcking hotel-restaurant forsthaus am see twice we drove to the entrance past. For the first Time, because we are the road signs are not found. For the second Time (to a traffic accident to avoid), because the man is too dense auffuhr. But the house looked quite normal, an average-sized, stand-alone country house hotel with a generous Kiesterrasse and a driveway, the three gentle arches of the Possenhofener road to the lake abmündet. In the summer, people travel from all over the world to "Forsthaus am see" to Possenhofen-Pöcking. Of course they come first and foremost because of our beautiful area in the Five-lakes region. In truth, however, they are now just as hooked on the cuisine of Bernhard Graf – Chef in the kitchen. In the shadow of the high hedge, it can be excellent food, with a direct view on the lake of Starnberg. The menu up and down, has become a connoisseur address of the first rank developed. If it's the guests in case of bad weather from the outside to the inside draws, leads you to the upper in the rural kitted out rooms. A Stilgemisch of Bavarian classic. We are now on 3. Once in the Hotel on the lake, and it is just gorgeous. The rooms are large and comfortable and the bathrooms very nice. The location directly at the lake of the lake is gorgeous. It is quiet and mainly outside of the season best suited to just a couple of days off. For Breakfast, you can through the large picture window of the lake. Particularly to recommend is the Restaurant. Those who value excellent food sets, is here exactly correct. From the appetizers through the main course, to Dessert, everything is excellent. Of the, to the point of cooked cod on Kürbiskraut, I will probably continue to rave about it :) Also from the warm goat cheese on Radicchio salad, which is fine abgeschmeckten cream of pumpkin soup and the baked Vanillieneis with fresh raspberries.
