This is like going to stay in a fairy book while your there! The hotel itself is decorated beautifully, the breakfast every morning is a perfect way to start the day and the staff is so wonderful. We’ve been twice in 1 year and I look forward to going again if possible!

Great place to stay! Fantastic service from first moment, on the country side, a relaxed atmosphere, beautiful garden with sun beds, beautiful outdoor restaurant, gourmet food, fantastic breakfast with own menu and super nice waiters. I only missed one thing since it was so warm, a swimming pool ☺️ Will come back again!

We stayed at Villino for one night. The room was small (as booked), but very pretty. The bathroom lacked some light, it was a little bit dark. The hotel is wonderful as is the surrounding garden. The breakfast was delightful, one of the best I ever had. The sauna is also great, you can spend hours in there. The staff is just amazing, very nice and attentive. We will definitely come back, but will book a bigger room next time.

A top-class hotel! You arrive and belong to the family. Everything is in harmony here. The rooms, the masterful kitchen, the well-kept garden. A house that stands out from the big houses and with its charming location is a real PERLE on Lake Constance. Thanks to my friend Gertrud Engel, who organized this stay.

For us the best hotel experience! Hard to describe in detail without neglecting anything. From the welcome to the farewell an incomparably authentically nice, almost family atmosphere. Everything is read from your eyes if it has not been settled in advance. For example, breakfast: it is prepared and brought to the table as desired. The selection is unique and for a breakfast incredibly tasty and unique in the selection. No annoying getting up to the buffet, everything freshly prepared, the service enjoys the service and the enjoyment of the guests. And the homemade jam — a dream!
The dinner was also a poem, diverse, especially, just very big. The wine selection great, the wine presentation committed and very individual.

Both the hotel and the restaurant exceeded every expectation and the service was impeccable. The owner and staff made us feel completely relaxed and welcome. The garden is dreamy. Thank you for making our short holiday so very special. We wish we could have extended our stay.

Spectacular location, beautiful building, helpful staff and amazing food, this hotel has it all. It was a great stay; the only problem was it was too short.

If you want to take a trip to the upscale gastronomy, just like to get out of the stressful everyday life and can enjoy insanely delicious food and wine, you are absolutely right here.

The Villino is a real piece of jewellery in a great, quiet location. Everything is designed with great attention to detail and very tasteful.
Also the service is at the highest level: very attentive and facing. We felt comfortable and welcome from the very beginning. Our room is called "Paradiso" and that is actually not exaggerated:-)

We have been a guest at this hotel for three nights. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The sauna area is small but tasteful. The highlight is definitely the food. No one can miss this palatial feast! The restaurant (as well as the rest of the Relais & Chateaux House) is decorative and lovingly decorated. The wines are exquisite.

Great restaurant with excellent menu.

One of the most lovely hotels I've ever stayed in. Everything was beautiful but casual and just made me very comfortable. The good was fantastic and the hostess was so nice. I really wish we had spent longer at this personal hotel.

Exquisite. Simply put. My husband and I have stayed here before, maybe 4 years ago. It was lovely then but, now it's beyond beautiful. All new interiors, soothing colors, current soft linens, creamy wall colors. Every room feels so welcoming. The chef is one of the best. Wish we could have stayed longer but I wouldn't have been able to get into my clothes. The bread! Oh, the bread! Thank you for making my husbands birthday so special.

Very nice staff very nice location.

Probably my favorite hotel of all time. Extremely relaxing with a superb restaurant. Bargain of the century, to boot. Comes very close to places like the Jumeirah Al Qasr, but without being such a hectic beehive. Actually has good parking, so it's an excellent choice for those taking European delivery of a German car.

I got the hotel for free through my airline's points program so I can't say much for the price, but I heard that it was pretty cheap. The guy who runs it is SO super duper nice, and I think he's the only one who really runs the place, so it feels like you're at his house rather than some large hotel chain. He is such a sweet grandpa-like figure who was always willing to help me (he told me to take a juice box with me from breakfast in case I get thirsty waiting in line). The location is right next to a major train/bus station, and I thought that the immediate adjacent neighborhood was pretty cute with its hills and houses. I would definitely recommend this place for others!
