Great views, large room with a good shower. Strange opening times though. We got back at 21:15 last night from a day out. Hotel dark and locked up. Had to telephone the owner and he came and let us in muttering that it was very late. He did let us buy a beer to take to the room. Bed ok but has a undersheet that meant we sweated even with window open and — 10 outside. In summary a reasonable base to explore the area but treat as b and b not as an hotel.

Nice shop, so far "only" to fill the diving bottles and wheat beer drink there. But just like a reliable filling station, it took the Walchensee. Also, the offers for the rooms look good. Food also looked yummy. According to senior chef 365 days a year open. Topp!

Very nice hotel with great views. It's clean and has everything you need. The food is very good and you don't have to wait long until you get served. There are many places to visit nearby. Not only for two but also for the whole family, a stay in summer and also in winter is recommended. Keep it up.

In good weather nice to sit outside with a view of the Walchensee and the Karwendel Mountains. Good menu at absolutely fair prices. Friendly and helpful staff. Good for divers. You can also have your compressed air bottles filled here.

View is good. Food and staff poor. For breakfast you have to cover the table yourself. Rooms were also not clean. I was once there but no second time.

Very good accommodation, also recommended for longer, relaxed stays. Price/performance Unbeatable. For example: 300 g fillet steak in pepper cream sauce with fried potatoes for 18, 50 EUR. The staff is very friendly and attentive, rooms and bathrooms very clean.

Nice view, nice staff, good food, prices reasonable. The street directly on the terrace is a small blemish but the difference in height is only heard. And you can still have a nice time here, you'll notice at the numerous guests.

Very friendly staff, food was impeccable and reasonably priced. The room was clean and the view of the Walchensee wonderful. For a short trip over the weekend we can only recommend the hotel.

Cosy restaurant at the feet of one of Germany's most notable mountains. We've visited the restaurant alone, and found the food amazingly good (best French fries I've ever eaten… Genuinely surprised! ). Also, the employees are polite and professional, and the owner is of an explosive cordiality. If you're nearby, go there! What are you waiting for?
