For many years we have been happy to be here again and again: pleasant, friendly hosts, nice atmosphere and good, carefully prepared food for the whole family.
By the way, also a highly recommended catering!

We were there last night for dinner in the caravan. We are super excited. Absolutely great service. The food and drinks were served directly at the caravan. With dishes and glasses. Almost felt a bit like normality before Corona. So you really had a great flair.
For children an absolutely exciting experience, for couples a nice candle light dinner for two :-).
If you want to eat well again and somehow have a caravan at your disposal, you should definitely test this. Respect to the owners for such great ideas and such a perfect implementation. Special times require special ideas.

The evening before arrival comes a call that would be rest day. There is no dinner. Do you want to have breakfast somewhere else?
That's very bad style.

Very nice well-kept country inn with large beer garden. The choice of dishes is large incl. Vegetarian dishes. The quality was very good and the portions sufficient. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio of the Franconian wedding soup is not right, only 4 smaller dumplings and little broth for 4, 90€. The service staff was very friendly and attentive.
The Landgasthof Birkel is recommended.

Nice, clean and quiet place.

Had room number 2 right next to a generator couldn't sleep due to the rumbling of the generator. Tip: Be sure to take a noise test beforehand otherwise you will be brought to sleep.

The restaurant is absolutely great. The quality of the food is convincing, as does the selection of drinks.

Room is well maintained and everything is relatively up-to-date!
There is a TV, but the hotel is so beautiful the custom you don't.
After Herrieden it is only 4km and the entire environment is mainly suitable for riding a bike.
In the surrounding area runs the altmühl where you can also take a nice bike tour (Altmühltal) So on average, highly recommended!

Nice hotel with a large terrace. Good room, not very large bathroom. Very clean and good bedding. The restaurant's menu is varied and the kitchen good. Staff.

We were here for the third time now, and now I would like to share my opinion on our last visit. The staff is friendly and professional, the ambiance especially in the front area really great, the toilets timeless modern and very clean, the map is well mixed and manageable and the products are almost without exception absolutely high quality and fresh. You can see and feel the hang/will to perfectionism here. Respect for that!
For the food itself: the soup was very taste-neutral, the salad was again a dream, the meat was again cooked to the point but again the kitchen wanted to prove taste neutrality (I felt real boredom during consumption) and the Hähnchencrossis for the kids were hard and dry, the fries for it were very soft — we didn't expect that here! I'd like to give five stars. However, since the core of our visit is the food (mainly the main dish), it only lasts for three stars. However, we would like to convince you that the food is also worth five stars.

Food is good and plentiful. In the front area smaller tables, in the rear area large tables with plenty of space for events. Small children's play corner. Conditions are friendly. Service in general quickly.

Located just off the hill, but very nice and quite quiet. A family run hotel, very friendly and very happy to return. Recommended as accommodation and first the kitchen. Everything really delicious, no matter what I ate. There were very often guests there, both with accommodation, and only for dinner.

Where the hell is Lammelbach?
For those who can't find the way, I can only say. Bad luck.

Very personal care when eating. Meals are at a very high level and all taste excellent. Very good changing court main is always on the map. Always a highlight when eating out.

Food well, service very nett/friendly, rooms very small but everything in it that is needed … Bath with shower, position Tv slightly unfavorable … Bed a little too soft (my opinion) but sufficient … was just a single room … was satisfied …

Rooms are small but clean and cosy. The one with the free "W-Lan" is, alas, more of a joke. Yes it is free, but in many rooms not at all or only very weak, in some cases there is a Wi-Fi connection but without internet access …
The food is good. Shed rocks and steak are highly recommended.

One star. It's too much. I almost slept when I was waiting for my food. I don't recommend to anyone. Worst restaurant I've been in Germany.

Very good country Inn with fine dining menu and reasonable prices. Very worth mentioning is the exquisite side-dishes salad, which stands out pleasantly from the crowd.

Extremely great food. Everything we got there. All conditions are friendly and always striving. It is even mousse au chocolat freshly stirred for the customers, simply great service. A star deduction for the insulation of the rooms and the 80 cm wide bed, which is even too small for me as a narrow person. Even though the beds were very comfortable and the room were always clean. Was a total of 3 times there including good breakfast and 2 nights each in a row. Would always come back there.

50 euro. Very good price for germany. Service at the bar not so good. Have to wait 15+ min each time to order beer. Rich people problem I guess. Would comeback for the room every time. I highly recommend this little hotel. A jewel within others twice as much expensive.

We arrived completely soaked in the inn. We were immediately offered a dryer. The food was very good. Top service. We were highly satisfied and would highly recommend the Country Inn Birchl.
