Cozy rooms, nice staff, very clean and well maintained. We are already looking forward to breakfast.

The best Hotel in Oberammergau.

Location of the hotel is really optimal, centrally located in the village. Direct neighbor the ice cream parlour with the best Italian ice cream.

Rooms very nicely furnished, probably recently renovated. Great bathroom, with floor-level shower.
Restaurants, built in different times of the long existence of the hotel: from the rustic restaurant, to the latest part with large glass facade to the main square; when the window front is open, you sit in the shade of the Great Chestnut in the beer garden…
Food was excellent: half-board menu with three main dishes to choose from is highly recommended, very tasty!
Breakfast left no wishes unfulfilled. From hearty, sausages, bacon, eggs to sugar-sweet, cakes and yeast (absolutely try! ) everything is sufficiently available and fresh.
Always on Zack and helpful.
Our next stay in Oberammergau will definitely be our first choice!

Perfect location… very atmospheric and special. An amazing village with wonderful staff and service in this Beautiful Bavarian alpine village. Great food too.

Dinner at the restaurant was very nice and reasonably priced. Ate there two nights in a row. The service was very good also. Atmosphere, pleasant family style feeling.

The location is great, Mr Thomas is very nice and helpful, the apartment is clean but there was no daily cleaning only once a week, well maintained apartment, but there was no elevator to the upper floors only a noisy wooden staircase, and the was no reception only a small glass round table witch is not acceptable for hotel standard, also the outside garbage was very bad for hotel entrance,, the hole outside needs renovation.

Nicely prepared old house with large apartment, high quality furnished, unfortunately too sterile. We felt uncomfortable there. Behind the house is an ugly garbage dump and there is also some hiding the entrance to the hotel.

Lovely open plan apartment with balconies and all conveniences. Nice view and easy walk to town and restaurants. Private parking always seems to have a space. Quality but pricey, so fair value.

Very clean rooms, friendly host, supermarktes directly across the street, walking to town center only 5 minutes. And if you like cats there are some living on the areal.

Very nicely decorated rooms. From the outside, I would never have suspected that. We stayed in the apartment with two sleeping zime. The equipment in the kitchen was also excellent. Happy again!

Centrally located. Outer systems appear untidy. Apartment was clean and everything ok.

Since I have stayed for the third time here 5 nights I can speak from experience that in the old Postvilla price/performance are Consistent. Large apartments modern and suitably furnished. A nice host, all shopping facilities on the doorstep and ample parking space. What more could you want?
