Amazing setting and wonderful staff!

Very nicely located and there is a lot to discover — e. G. Negroide weapons and stones. The staff is very friendly.

Magical place with a special flair! Far from the usual business unit, a beautifully located hotel. If you are looking for modern chic, you are wrong here, but if you are looking for something special, you are right. This also applies to the excellent cuisine. Only the selection could be a little more extensive. The Schwarz family takes care of the guests with special charm! I'm happy to come back.

Amazing castle rooms with ruins close by& grounds & huge breakfasts!

Dieser Ort ist gut geeignet zum einen für Veranstaltungen wie, Hochzeiten, Geburtstage, Gruppenessen und Candlelightdinner. Das Essen ist wirklich der Wahnsinn. Das Schloss ist super schön, die Zimmer sind sehr urig und gemütlich. Generell die ganze Atmosphäre ist besonders gemütlich. Familie Schwarz und die Mitarbeiter leisten dort einen sehr guten Dienst und ich würde immer wieder kommen.

Completely soaked, it took us on our multi-day hike on the Altmühltalpanoramaweg to the castle Eggersberg. Despite the fact that there was no free space or personnel capacity there because of a bigger family celebration, we were welcomed, were allowed to dry our wet things in an adjoining room and were given the desired hot drink. Just great.

Stay a little different. They closed rooms are old and correspondingly quaint but still beautiful. If you want to stay in a special time, you should stop by.
The castle is also ideal for weddings and other celebrations.
The staff is very friendly and cordial.
You feel almost like home in a cosy atmosphere.

Also this year on the occasion of our 35th wedding day, the days at the castle were unforgettable and great again!

We got married in 1997 there about 3 days and it was really a dream from another time. Now we were back in 2016 and it has become even more beautiful, and in times like these, therefore more valuable. Because if you are looking for rest and relaxation, the reward for a king.

THE dream castle hotel in the Altmühltal-picturesquely situated with the charm of the 70s and yet gently modernised. We have been for years always again happy to here, bring our horses and horseback riding guests and let us really spoiled by family black… A smooth 10 on the popularity scale.

We were in October 2009 in the Schloss Eggersberg and have spent a great weekend. The good service and beautiful rooms in a stunning setting made the weekend for us an unforgettable experience. We often remember the beautiful hours! Thank you very much.

We stayed overnight on our way to Italy and were very pleased to find a castle in such good shape. We were very taken by the spacious room and the friendly staff. Certainly a place to go back to!
