Due to many positive reviews I expected more. The PEI performance ratio has apparently shifted to the detriment of the guest. The Wiener schnitzel was a little too long in the pan, the fried potatoes at the Geröstel drowned in the sauce, the salad was unwilling. The taste was OK, the waitress friendly. 2, 5 stars.

The visit to the Oberstdorf contemplation actually belongs to the standard repertoire (m) of a Upper Village stay:
I have been here many times and so I have been to contemplation many times. A traditional eatery, with lots of wood, plaid tablecloths and the inviting cosiness of a farmhouse. A very well maintained farmhouse with reliable good food.
Something has changed this year — the food may taste, but there's a slight downward waste in terms of quality.
Also new: Music is played. Not live, but from the radio, or from the playlist. And — in my ears — gruesome rock music (Scorpions with "Winds of Change" for dinner, I find inappropriate. To put it mildly).
All in all, therefore, I have to say that the Oberstdorf contemplation can no longer score the same as it did all these years before. What a pity.

Well-run restaurant in the pedestrian area. Very good cuisine and friendly, competent staff. Table reservations highly recommended.

Food was partly expensive prices.
And the waitress absolutely unkind and not flexible in the food menu in the evening was still the menu from the lunch table urgent and despite the demand one was immediately sent on the lunch card and there are in the evening not there was only liver cheese and roast potatoes which I like There would have been a lot with Panade why I can't eat this.

During my visit, a complaint was not necessarily handled professionally. The price-performance ratio is not correct in my opinion.

Just sit here in contemplation. Haven't eaten a Rump steak. The meat was braised well. Had to wait 35 minutes, but the Steak had to have the cooking time. I can recommend a visit. Be happy to come here.

It really fit everything. Started with a very friendly reception, very good food (roast pork, boiled beef, and for Dessert immensely pancakes delicious… so big that two adults had problems with it), as well as a cosy ambience. Detail: special requests, no Problem; Peugeot pepper mills on each table; cloth napkins, etc. The children's schnitzel is made from veal. For this a clear five star.

We felt in our vacation super comfortable in this Restaurant. It is everything, Service and food super is simply a lie. Inside and outside feel good pure. Many thanks to the entire Team for this enrichment of our holiday.

This is a values retreat recommend suitable, both in meat and drink, as well as to stay excellent. We were last fall there and more than satisfied. Great Team, great house, all is Good. We will be back!

Good food, very busy hostses.

A great meal in, however, strange atmosphere. The Local spoke to me because of the food offered immediately. After we had been assigned a table (in the middle of the room, and thus track the controls), we were served by a I find it very snooty waitress. We were actually dressed normal, only our (clean) wall, shoes were perhaps a little plump. However, we are also in a wall region, so nothing out of the ordinary. Anyway, I had the feeling as if I were a hobo, the asked to an audience with the Queen. The food lasted a Moment longer, but for freshly prepared, as the map shows, the absolute in the time frame. The food itself (weeks, card — salmon fillet with Zucchini, tomatoes and mushrooms, parsley potatoes) was an absolute dream! The best out there, because it's not so stiff… Unfortunately, we don't eat outside like.

On the daily search of another new Eatery we passed yesterday at the "Einkehr". Stop … that was one of the Locations with good reviews, as we had previously researched. So …

Welcome white bread with Obazta was served in a normal household stainless steel egg cups. That's what I call rustic! The venison goulash with bread dumplings and red cabbage was excellent. A pity that the musty operation, the good kitchen in the standings to the bottom.

Kid friendly and very tasty food — several vegetarian dishes.

Great rooms, very clean and above all, a large bathroom. The Service was great, up to a waitress, do not like the laughed, were all super super friendly. The Breakfast was nothing special but it was enough. On request there was even gluten-free bread for Breakfast. A pity that it is not until 8:00 p. M. As the skiers a bit too late. Luckily the Frühstücksdame anything extra for us already finished earlier. The food was otherwise really really good! Good value for money and no problems when they Ask and "Extrawürsten". Kudos! The location is top, in the middle of the city and close to the buses/lifts. Of course you can hear at Night, some passers-by, but for the location still very quiet. We will definitely be back!

Child-friendly delicious food.

The interior is cozy and very clean. The food (Maronensuppe, trout; veal cheeks, Filetstreifen, Gemüserösti) was tasty and well served. Very good also that you can for a price reduction with many dishes as a smaller Dose of can order. The waitress was very friendly and fast. We can Locally only recommend.

Goes like this, goes like this, R2D2. The food was well served and looked quite good but it only has mediocre taste. The service was friendly and it's also pretty classy. The Locally-but you can still recommend it.

I have often eaten in the Restaurant and was impressed.

The food was excellent, the Service also. Can without restrictions be recommended.
