Great and very family gem in St. Leon Red with free parking at the door.

The staff is very friendly and attentive and the rooms are clean above average.
The double room was equipped with minibar, air conditioning, kettle incl. Tea/coffee making, tablet, LCD TV, safe and a free bottle of water. The spacious and beautiful Mediterranean-style bathroom features a shower, bathtub, 2 sinks and free toiletries.
There were 6 towels available per guest, which can be changed daily on request. Overall, the room was very quiet and comfortable.

Even at breakfast, no wishes remained unfulfilled. Various mini rolls, croissants, toast, cereals, fresh fruits (from raspberries, blueberries, cherries to pineapple, kiwi and melon all with you and daily seasonally changing), nuts, yoghurt, various sausages and cheeses, bacon, various egg dishes, other jams and Bread spreads etc were available at the buffet. In addition, various juices, various water and various hot drinks (from tea to espresso macchiato) were served at the table.

It should be emphasized that these were mainly regional organic products and were always replenished in a timely manner without wasting resources.

At the bar, in the mediteran-designed backyard garden or in the lobby you can order a good selection of drinks all day or in the well-assorted magazine selection.

Plain, lovingly run hotel. 2 Notes: Packed Rolls For Breakfast is not possible at all, and an Elevator for the elderly, would also be something.

Very friendly service. I had a double room which was big and bathroom too. Breakfast was good: fresh fruit salad, strawberries and good coffee. Overall good quality and good price. Recommended.

Have visited the hotel as part of an event. Super nice hotel with very friendly people. The rooms are so clean that I ran against the shower stall because I thought it was open:-) What I particularly like, at breakfast there weren't much guests and the lady immediately said if something was missing she would bring it. She wouldn't have uncovered so much so she doesn't have to throw anything away, but we could get fried eggs, scrambled eggs, bacon or whatever right away. Being very opposed to waste, I found that eerily symphatic. Especially since she had to look and refill all the time, was much more work for her than to pack the plates full and throw them away afterwards. I find only 6 euros for a bottle of water fierce. But it's Heidelberg. And the (water) watches tick differently than in northern Germany. You have to accept it, too.

A second time the Arador did not disappoint us. Everyone will find something on the large breakfast buffet. The rooms are nice and very large.

Wir kannten das Hotel von früheren Übernachtungen und hatten dieses Freunden weiterempfohlen. Deshalb hatten wir uns dann auch dort zum Frühstück getroffen. Das Frühstück-Buffet bietet Lachs, Käse, div. Wurst und Schinken, Obstsalat, verschiedene Joghurts, Müsli & Co. Süsse Aufstriche wie z. B. Marmelade und Erdnussbutter und diverse Brote / Brötchen. Der Service ist super. Man bekommt Eier in jeglicher Form frisch zubereitet und zum Schluss gern noch einen Espresso. Alles sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und der Innenhof ist wirklich sehr schön gestaltet! Auch die Gäste, denen wir das Hotel empfohlen hatten, waren rundum zufrieden. Die Zimmer sind schön und ordentlich. Wir empfehlen das Hotel Arador auf jeden Fall weiter!

Small private hotel in center of St. Leon-Rot. Fabulous medieval buildings modernized with taste and comfort. Friendly owners and great food. Loud early morning church bells — bring your earplugs if you are light sleeper.
